"When we initially booked, we thought the hotel looked lovely, but we didn’t know what to expect. It exceeded all of our expectations. The staff are all wonderful and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. A special mention goes to Louis, Benedetta, Bruna, Tony, Monica, and the two lovely gentlemen who looked after us at breakfast every morning. All of the staff make you feel incredibly welcome, and the hotel has a warm, family-run atmosphere. The hotel offers a taxi service to the local area of Baia Verde, which has vibrant beach clubs and a scenic walk along the beach. There is also a shuttle service to Gallipoli town available for an additional fee. The facilities are beautiful, and the grounds are wonderful. You can tell that the team takes great pride in the appearance of the hotel. We stayed in Limoncino, and our room was lovely, with clean, well maintained amenities. It was also cleaned every day, keeping everything fresh and comfortable. There’s no fighting for sunbeds, and it truly is a peaceful place to stay. I also have to give a special thanks to the hotel’s lovely dog, Mojito, who accompanies guests to breakfast and greets everyone at the door. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. It was an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break while still having the option to enjoy evening entertainment at the hotel and in the local town. "We are seasoned travellers, who know the difference between average and exceptional. This ticked all the boxes. The owner/operator was outgoing and helpful, providing suggestions for sightseeing, dining and a detailed explanation of the history of his historical house and his olive oil business. Being so close to Gallipoli, Alesio is easily accessible by car. Parking is available on site. But to try to explain the accommodation would not give it justice. It is wow! An old olive oil producing building turned into a b&b, with all of the antiques scattered around. The owner is proud (and I understand why) of how he kept all the original floors doors and furniture. The breakfast is outstanding with fresh pastries and fruit. So don’t miss out on this exceptional accommodation."
