This hotel was the cutest building in the heart of Alexandria. I was staying for business and I'm used to Courtyards/Residence Inns - this was such an unexpected treat. I didn't get to experience many of the amenities as it was the last night of a week long trip but Doug who helped me with Valet was great - quick and kind. I'd love to go back to explore during personal travel.

Quaint and elegant old style accommodations while still having modern and crisp feel. You'll be one block away from King Street where everything is happening and the cozy bar and lively piano player will make for a nice night cap end to your day of adventure. We will come back!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience. It was quiet, cute, quaint, and the service was impeccable. We were greeted with smiles and care and attentiveness. Breakfast was great, great drinks, and we felt really taken care of. If you’re looking for, a getaway with terrific customer service, then this is the place to go.

We had a great stay at The Morrison House. The location was perfect…just a little bit off the beaten track for a nice, quiet sleep. The service was friendly and very attentive, especially Miguel. Thank you for a wonderful 3 nights in Alexandria!

We loved our first stay here. Every single element was pleasing and rewarding for our stay in downtown Alexandria. The service level of EVERY employee was off the charts. The valet, the front desk, the bar and cleaning. The rooms are so well-appointed and clean beyond. The beds are very comfortable and our room view was amazing. We will be back again and again. Thank you Morrison staff!!

This staff was incredible! This was a hard week for us in business and during our stay we felt so cared for! Monique- thank you for caring for me when I was sobbing following our corporate good bye call ( I am leaving my co this week) Douglas - thank you for your beautiful story and sharing with me! Breakfast was wonderful. Appreciate you getting ready early morning Sam- thank you for your hospitality and smiling face. Lovely small hotel in Alexandria . Perfect location with bars /restaurants/shops very close to the hotel . I would have given it 5 stars if we had gotten our lovely room on 4th floor when we checked in. We got a room in the “basement “,it was very claustrophobic with half windows and a terrible noice from the air conditioning room next to our room .we didn’t sleep much the first night -so room in the basement (I can’t call it ground floor as it is in the basement) 2 stars - room on the 4th floor ,5 stars . We loved the new room and the view ,everything was perfect. I would love to stay again if I knew I would get one of the nice rooms .
