Very disappointed at breakfast & maids slam doors while cleaning n the am, which shakes the room while I'm sleeping 2 wake me up. I was told by the front desk that there's nothing they can do, because they're reminded in meetings and still keep doing it?! Shouldn't that be a management problem, that the maid should be listening and not slamming the doors?! Also, it's frustrating that the shuttle doesn't run all the time to and from the airport and it's like a 5-minute ride?! When I've stated other hotels including the same one in Asheville, their shuttle ran all the time?! I was here for a month and most of the workers here are great, except one older lady at the front desk. She never smiled and made me show her my key, when I'd already talked to her a few times, to get a new key. I had also asked her about a shuttle at a time and she said I had to leave earlier, as she couldn't promise that I'd get the shuttle at the time I wanted. I said the airport's only 5 minutes away, she said well sometimes it takes longer?! When I asked a guy who normally drove me if he was the one taking me to the airport?! She said it's already been taking care of I've already talked to her, meaning me. He told me that she's not always very pleasant and that he didn't think that was very nice how she talked to me. I said well I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought she wasn't being nice!? 🤦
