Very clean, large rooms and friendly staff

Brand new hotel located on the new Tesla Blvd. (old Alcoa West Plant site). Large room with decent kitchen. Walkable grocery store and can walk to one restaurant. I made my own meals most nights. Nice outdoor amenities like fire pit, picnic tables and such. Room was clean. HVAC worked well, hot water ok, and no plumbing issues. Quiet location. Easy to access, but you do have to worry about the boulevard street that only allows right turns. Can go down the partially completed street to a cross intersection. Staff was helpful. Hot coffee 24 hrs. Breakfast was different and unique to Home2 properties. No bacon or sausage or potatoes in a bin, but prefab egg omelets and biscuits. They did have a breakfast bowl supposedly with potatoes, but it was a bit mushy. Parking lot is small, and I wonder what happens when this place starts to really fill up. At any rate, good experience and I will book again. Recommended.

This is a typical Home2 Suites. The breakfast and the room are pretty standard. The Knoxville airport is a bit away from Knoxville and there is no freeway going to the airport. You have to take a major local road or "highway" to the airport. There really isn't much around the airport area. And the area does seem a bit deserted and run down. But they seem to be building new buildings in the area.

Very disappointed at breakfast & maids slam doors while cleaning n the am, which shakes the room while I'm sleeping 2 wake me up. I was told by the front desk that there's nothing they can do, because they're reminded in meetings and still keep doing it?! Shouldn't that be a management problem, that the maid should be listening and not slamming the doors?! Also, it's frustrating that the shuttle doesn't run all the time to and from the airport and it's like a 5-minute ride?! When I've stated other hotels including the same one in Asheville, their shuttle ran all the time?! I was here for a month and most of the workers here are great, except one older lady at the front desk. She never smiled and made me show her my key, when I'd already talked to her a few times, to get a new key. I had also asked her about a shuttle at a time and she said I had to leave earlier, as she couldn't promise that I'd get the shuttle at the time I wanted. I said the airport's only 5 minutes away, she said well sometimes it takes longer?! When I asked a guy who normally drove me if he was the one taking me to the airport?! She said it's already been taking care of I've already talked to her, meaning me. He told me that she's not always very pleasant and that he didn't think that was very nice how she talked to me. I said well I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought she wasn't being nice!? 🤦

I’ve killed 3 bugs. They seem to be everywhere. AC is not working. Room temp set on 68. Temp in the room goes down to 72 and that’s it. AC will turn on for 10 seconds. Yea, I timed it. I called the front desk and the hotel is booked. No extra rooms. So I get a super heated bug infested room. Thanks Hilton. As a lifetime diamond, I’m shocked these problems come up on newer Hilton facilities. Please, do better. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. I’d sleep in the car first. As someone who stays at 100+ hotels a year, I do NOT recommend this hotel. Stay away, you’ll thank me.
