The hotel looks FANTASTIC. It’s a designer’s dream. The location is perfect. However, for a 4-star hotel and at that price (high for Alcalá) I was expecting some slippers, more choice of pillows and tea-coffee facilities inside the room. For a tea, I had to go to the bar next door and carry my boiling tea all the way to my room. Also, the mattress is HORRIBLE. I had a horrible night because it was so hard. I would invest in new mattresses. There wasn’t any extra duvet in the room either.
I would return to try the Spa and if they change this basic things (tea boiler and mattresses), I would consider staying again since the place is so gorgeous.

Excellent facilities, very large rooms with modern decor. Right in the centre of the historic centre of Alcalá, a great place to stay.

We booked because I wanted to experience a Parador hotel and it was close to Madrid airport. Room was great. Service good - as expected. Alcara de Henares was an interesting small city (there was an open air concert in the main square that evening and some sort of medieval re-enactment the next morning along with lots of historic buildings). Only negative might be that there was a conference/meeting being held and it did feel a little soul-less. Don't walk from the train station as we did - get a taxi. Parking is available.

Gute Lage, liebevoll restauriertes Gebäude, große Zimmer mit großem Bad (Wanne mit Dusche), umfangreiches Frühstücksangebot, übersichtliche Karte des Restaurants mit authentischer und frischer Küche, bei der auch Sonderwünsche berücksichtigt werden. Fußläufig erreichbare geschichtsträchtige Innenstadt, ggf. auch Nahverkehrsmöglichkeiten nutzbar bei Gehbehinderung.
