I had a wonderful vacation, the room was so unique and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. I could really recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an incredible experience while traveling or just wants to get away for a bit. Souq Al Wakra Hotel has definitely left an impression on me that I won't forget anytime soon. Tip: it’s nice booking here if it’s your bday or anniversary they’ll prepare a surprise for you. Sraidan is an absolutely amazing restaurant that I highly recommend to everyone! If you get the chance, do visit and savor the delightful food. Be sure to meet Sani—she is not only incredibly kind but also offers fantastic recommendations for dishes. Her beautiful smile adds an extra touch of warmth to the experience. Based on prices, it’s best on Doha. Also nearby public transport available. Only 10-15 QR to reached on Airport by Uber. and 2 QR by and and Metro. As it is a hostel, don’t ask for to many things but if you stay you may like this place. Also they have kitchen, if you want's to cook you can. Also you can bring your own food and enjoy it here! Overall, it’s best for a backpacker and budget traveller who want's to travel on Doha and stay here for few day's. Chill!!

I had an 8 hour layover in Doha. I had booked the room in advance so I knew I would have it available when I arrived. For an airside hotel in particular, the Oryx is very comfortable and does exactly what most connecting travelers will need it to do. The room can be made completely dark. The bed is comfortable. The shower is a luxury huge rain shower with a full complement of toiletries. The TV displays the current flight board so you can see the status and gate for your flight any time you want. It was centrally located and should be convenient to any connection. Things that could be improved: Signage. There are no signs for this hotel in the terminal and the entrance is obscured. I had to ask for directions from a retail employee at one of the shops. Minibar: There is bottled water in the room but no mini-bar. A mini bar would be very useful for connecting travelers who just need a beverage and a snack and want to maximize sleep time without having to shop for food in the terminal or wait for room service.

Breakfast is average. After all, it is not a star. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from the airport and there is parking.

Hotel treat us so special, we stay for 3 nights. They set up the bed so nicely for my family. Rooms was clean and the service was fast. People in the hotel is good. I recommend it to my relatives and friends.

Fabulous apartment! Extremely spacious. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, 1 bedroom with a california king and thw second was a twin room. 2 bathrooms, 1 of which was an en-suite. Kitchen with all amenities provided. Nice living area with sofa and tv, as well as dining space. Underground parking available. Only thing I would say is the finishing is terrible, sockets hanging loose, paint job is rough, plaster on tiles which hasn't been wiped and now dry. The extractor fan in thw kitchen hanging by a wire. All these things make a 5* a 5* . If they can rectify these small things, it would be 10/10. A steal for the price and a short stop over trip.

We had an amazing time here, it was 5 stars! It was immaculately clean and designed. I was at peace because there was a Quran and prayer mat in our room, there's a Qatari vibe to the hotel; architecture, smell (smells gorgeous), staff. The staff are very attentive and theres a quick service. Breakfast was perfect, we had dinner and in room dining service which was perfect and special. We used the gym ( excellent exercise machines) , rooftop pool was perfect with private shower rooms. The spa was amazing, we had a couples hammam. The only thing I'm not sure about is, wether guests can use the sauna and steam rooms as they are in the spa, we got to use it because we were clients there. We also loved the segregation in the spa. It was perfect, we wish we stayed longer, it felt like home, we will visit again in sha Allah. We booked 2 hotels; after we moved to St Regis and missed Steinberger so much, out of both hotels we loved Steinberger and wanted to return. Steinberger scored way better than a well-known hotel resort. Thankyou for taking care of us.
