It was an incredible 7 nights. Iberostar was a pleasant surprise. I had seen reviews of other hotels and was afraid, so I chose this hotel and it was the best decision. Location, entertainment and food options. I recommend it and I'll definitely be back!

Wonderful from start to finish! I could not recommend this hotel more. For me, it was the hotel team. The hotel community went out of their way to connect with others and genuinely seemed to care. They showed pride in customer service and expressed that they take their five-star reputation seriously.
The room standard was amazing. Due to rooms being fully booked over Christmas, I needed to switch hotels for the main Christmas days. I switched to the biggest and supposedly most “ luxury “ hotel in Sousse. Honestly, the switch was not worthwhile. I realized just how exceptional the quality is at the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay.
The housekeeping team visited daily providing toiletries, clean bathrobes and nice extras ( such as sweets and chocolates) to the room. Their friendly faces with their cheerful banter were a pleasure to embrace each day.
The food quality was great! I do not consume meat or dairy but that didn’t make a difference, there truly is something for everyone. The fresh food selection was incredible and certainly unbeatable to those I had tried elsewhere in Sousse and Tunis. The cooks shared helpful recommendations and I tried a range of fresh local flavours. This hotel was comfortable, with a cheerful friendly team and positioned with an exceptional view of a gorgeous quiet beach. I would happily stay again, and I highly recommend the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay.

Séjour d'une semaine en tout inclus en famille (2 adultes 2 enfants) en octobre. L'hôtel est bien situé, bord de mer, la structure est très belle, les ascenseurs vitrés intérieur sont magnifiques et donnent un effet grandiose a l'immense hall d'entrée. Les piscines sont grandes et propres mais froides a cette époque de l'année. La piscine intérieure est chauffée et agréable et plutôt grande. Réservation d'une suite junior, déception lorsque nous sommes arrivés dans la chambre et pour cause, nous nous sommes aperçu après quelques jours en regardant les photos sur le site de l'hôtel que nous avions eu une chambre familiale et non une suite junior... dommage que nous n'avons pas été informé de ce changement (et a mi séjour, trop tard pour demander de changer, toutes les affaires des enfants étant rangé dans les armoires, etc.). La chambre est assez au calme (4eme et dernier étage) mais est communicante (double porte intérieure) donc vous viviez avec vos voisins de la chambre à côté ! Et quand ils fument, vous profitez des odeurs... Non, déçu de notre chambre pas digne de cette gamme d'hôtel (nous avons déjà beaucoup voyagé, y compris chez iberostar). La restauration est bonne bien que un peu décevante et répétitive. Rien d'extraordinaire. Il y a de tout pour tous les goûts mais sans être ni bon ni mauvais.... Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique et attentionné, c'est certainement le vrai point fort de cet hôtel (et heureusement qu'ils sont là). Nous avons informé les serveurs du restaurant principal que notre fils fêtait ses 3 ans lors du séjour et ils lui ont organisé un moment sympathique avec gâteau, bougies et chant d'anniversaire ! Bravo et merci beaucoup à vous, vous êtes top ! En résumé, à la question : est-ce que je conseillerais cet hôtel, ma réponse serait, après hésitation cependant : non malheureusement : pour avoir fait d'autres hôtels à Sousse, le rapport qualité prix n'y est pas, il y a aussi bien (voir mieux...) pour moins cher ! Dommage, il ne manque pas grand chose, mais quand je réserve un séjour chez iberostar, je m'attends à autre chose (et surtout pas à être déçu en entrant dans ma chambre).

Never have I dreamt a hotel could have a five star rating when in most other places on the globe it would struggle for a 3 star rating. Never have I been in a 5 star hotel or any bar when asking for a gin and tonic the bar staff state they have no tonic but offer you coke instead to mix with your gin. At the beginning they explain they are waiting for an order but as I sit here in the lobby on my fourth day there's still no tonic. Referring to the lobby it resembles an airport waiting area with if any comfortable seats, so when its rains you are in bother to find a comfortable place for peace and quiet. I've just thought I'll go for a Sauna in my 5star accommodation, but oh no they want payment for a sauna and steam. Anywhere else 5star all inclusive involves use of such facilities, not here reader , they want every pound they can extract from you once they think your trapped. As for the food its the same old same old everyday moreover they actually open the processed bags of food in front of you as they pour the stuff into the deep fat fryer. If you expect international drink brands as per usual for 5 star standards, dream on reader. Should have given this place a cursory glance a d stuck to Turkey. How will I survive 10 more days of this, maybe some tonic water will arrive.

Hotel is rated as a 5 star however in my opinion it’s closer to a 3 or 4 star, probably a 3.5 would be about right. The beach is nice enough, as are the pools. Service around the pool was decent. Food was ok, nothing to really highlight, just it wasn’t at the level of a 5 star hotel. For the evening meals I feel if you’re a fussy eater you might struggle. Rooms are somewhat dated and could do with updating, they were clean and spacious. They have a gym onsite which is ok for a holiday workout. I stayed for 5 nights and was overall ok, just not 5 star level.
