We stayed here with great expectations. The location is very nice with the guest accommodation block being situated in the (obviously vey wealthy) owners grounds about 50 yards from their house. Everything is pristinely clean and tidy . We were in the downstairs bedroom which opens out directly into the communal lounge/breakfast area. This meant there were noise issues if other people were using this area when we were trying to sleep etc. The room itself was very clean but there was no separate bathroom just a washbasin in an open alcove next to a shower. There were 2 armchairs which were designed for discomfort and impossible to sit in for any length of time. Breakfast was continental and very good quality although the fruit and cheese was over-carefully rationed. The place is situated outside Aix and can be tricky to locate especially at nighttime. We also found it rather off-putting that the owners were often hovering around. In conclusion I would say that the accommodation is quite good but there were enough issues to make me think twice about staying again and I definitely woul avoid the downstairs room.

Wir sind bereits das zweite Mal in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Die Lage, Qualität der Zimmer und des Frühstücks sind hervorragend. Eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre, fürwahr ein Bijou. Madame Florence Blin ist eine äußerst sympathische und freundliche Gastgeberin.

Excellent séjour au Domaine, tout était parfait: l’accueil chaleureux, attentionné de Florence, le cadre paisible des lieux, la décoration des chambres et l’incroyable buffet au petit-déjeuner. Le seul regret, ne pas avoir utilisé la piscine car la chaleur n’était pas au rendez-vous. Merci Florence, nous garderons un super souvenir de notre passage au Domaine.

Beautiful property 10 minutes from the center of Aix en Provence. The stay was wonderful and the host is lovely. The pool is quiet and clean. Fantastic!

Pour avoir fait plusieurs chambres d’hôtes et plusieurs autres types d’hébergements dans la région, il est difficile de comparer l’établissement de Florence avec un autre, tant la qualité du lieu, de l’accueil, des chambres, de l’emplacement, du petit déjeuner, des produits proposés, des conseils, et beaucoup d’autres « des » est bien au dessus des attentes qu’on en avait. Le séjour que nous avons passé était tout simplement parfait. Comment ne pas recommander, ni partager un avis aussi positif aux prochains voyageurs qui hesiteraient encore s’y rendre ? Allez y les yeux fermés et laissez la magie du lieu et l’accueil des hôtes vous emporter si vous passez dans les environs. Pour notre part, nous comptons bien y retourner lors de notre prochain passage à Aix en Provence

Un lieu d'exception dans un domaine de 4 hectares où Florence vous accueille avec une gentillesse sans égale et en toute simplicité. Ne pas s'y tromper car tout est organisé ici au millimètre près, en toute discrétion, pour le plus grand confort et bien être du client. Les 3 chambres d'hôtes spacieuses et très bien aménagées sont dans un beau bâtiment séparé de la demeure principale ce qui assure à chacun une pleine autonomie. Délicieux petits déjeuners servis à votre convenance horaire sur la terrasse avec nappe et belle vaisselle. Thé, café, eaux minérales ainsi que quelques douceurs sont disponibles à tout moment. Superbe piscine bien exposée avec beaucoup de verdure autour ce qui permet de s'isoler. Tout près du centre d'Aix. En conclusion : ici tout n'est que calme, raffinement et volupté.

We loved our 3-night stay. Everything was perfect and beautiful. The room, space, cleanliness, the grounds… it’s the best pool in a perfect setting. The hosts were super warm and welcome. We loved the breakfast, especially the local jam and honey. If you look for peace and privacy, this is the place. We will be back!!
