Airlie Beach Apartments

No one answered the phone, the concierge was not there, only came for 10 minutes over an hour after check-in. The WiFi never worked. The place itself is pretty good but the service was extremely poor.

The location can not be beat - no walking up hills, very easy walk to everywhere in Airlie Beach. The little Queen Studio we stayed in was very clean and bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning is fantastic, as is water pressure in shower and the facilities within the kitchen are great. There is a good size deck out the front with table and two chairs. It was nice to sit on, however the view was not appealing and the noise from the busy road was terrible. Disliked · We stayed in Apartment 12 (and 14 was right next door) -and they both look straight out to the main road of Airlie Beach and it was SO NOISY - I would not stay here again - it honestly is so noisy! You can here every single person walking past and every single truck, car and motorbike. And the bed was strangely positioned right next to the door even though it could have been moved to the other side of the studio, potentially softening the noise? Airlie Beach is a bit of a party town so every single night we heard so clearly people walking back to their accommodation right up until 3am. Then the trucks start at 5am!!

Decent place for backpackers and people on a short stay, look somewhere else for a longer stay. Reception is basically non-existent, you have to call them 5 different times on multiple different numbers to get through to someone, even at 2pm on a weekday which is usually a time that a hotel reception is serviced. Bumped into another couple an hour after we managed to get a hold of someone who were having the same issue and had been hung up on and left on hold for over 30 minutes. Very frustrating in the hot weather and after a long flight. There was multiple things wrong with our room so we were moved about 3 times during our stay. Patricia was very helpful though and got us to a nice room at seaview apartments down the road.

Got off a 2day sailing adventure on the day of my birthday . Booked early before office opened. Was in need of a hot shower . Patricia the manager was more than happy to let us shower in office area , she even went out of her way and got our room done within the hour. I walked in to a beautiful room with a birthday banner on bed with a yummy birthday cake awaiting me . Also a packet of Tim tams in fridge 😊😊 Could not be more grateful! A wonderful experience we had here. Will rebook without hesitation when back again. Thank you for making my birthday so special ⭐️⭐️✅✅✅✅✅

We nearly didn’t book this property due to the reviews but due to the cost decided to give it a try. Well am I glad I did. I found it to be great. Sure it is a bit tired here and there but all in all it was very comfortable, very clean and for a somewhat small studio there was lots of storage, a full kitchen. The manager said she is new and trying her hardest to make improvements.

The location of this place is great, facilities good. We booked for a family of 3 adults for 2 nights and paid 25 dollars per night extra for the extra bed, so 50 in total. The extra bed however did not exist. There was a sort of fold out "sofa bed", but not suitable for anyone to sleep on. It was worn out, small and without any matress-like cushioning. They forgot to even put any bedding ready. We had to call the receptionist (they do not have on site reception, it's on call) to get the key to the room to grab our own bedding. I am dissapointed in the level of service. We are pretty chilled, usually camp a lot more back to basic so don't require much luxury. I booked this location for comfort and convenience whilst my family is visiting from overseas. The first night I ended up sleeping on some blankets I put on the floor, because that was more comfortable than the sofa. I contacted reception the next day hoping to figure out a solution for the extra bed we booked and paid for but they we're not helpful at all. She mentioned sofa bed's are never comfortable (with which I strongly disagree, as a nomad I have stayed in many places that provide a sofa bed as extra bed and have never had any bad experience.) And there was nothing she wanted to do for me, but bring extra blankets. Nor did they offer us a refund for the bed we booked but did not get. I ended up grabbing my own airmattress out of our campertrailer to put on the floor in the room on the second night. (Not easy to grab because we were not camping this month)

Good clean accommodation one step above back packers/YHA - central and good value for money. Host was very helpful. Good location for reef transfers. Cooking facilities if you need them. Opposite supermarket so easy to supply up

This hotel is an absolute scam! The rooms are riddled with mould. Other peoples hair left in bathrooms. Couldn’t check in until 4:30 and the couches are disgusting. Don’t let them ruin your trip too, and end up like us trying to book somewhere else to stay
