I stayed here for a two nights, deluxe room with no meal and single occupant on business work. Location is good and staff is very supportive. Rooms are old and amenities need maintenance and walls need to get rid of stains. Room size is okay and some rooms are very smaller in size I complained to took the larger room. Leaf restro restaurant looks decent but I didn’t tried the dishes. Hotel menu is ₹₹. Suitable for a single night stay. As hotel name river view there is no such a great view to expect( which I did while booking) maybe more upper floor may get some neat sight ( mine stay was in 3rd floor).

The overall impression of Riverview is formed from the point one approaches it. Firstly the restaurant name is prominently visible while hotel name isn’t. We arrived and there was no bellhop/porter to take our luggage up. There was just a Lone Ranger at the reception counter who had to leave his place and come out to help us..The room floor was clearly old and trodden...Bathroom size was small and features a fabric curtain somehow in this age! Food quality was just about average & this hotel shows its downside at every service point. It is understaffed and underwhelming and just about allows you to spent a night before moving on. It must have been better in the past and the pictures shouldn’t fool you ti decide

We stayed at hotel during cold-play concert. Got it at little bit premium than usual, however the property is facing sabarmati river, so deluxe rooms provide a great view to that. Cabs and autos are also easily available outside hotel. What i really liked is that the hotel has a huge open porch which is good for walking post dinner. Rooms were clean, interior and flooring also nice. Food at the restaurant is also good. Overall a great stay.
