Hotel Rural Casa de Los Camellos

The beds moved easily, expensive for the quality it has, the bathtub was small and old along with the curtain, the dust was not clean, very poor soundproofing, the superior room instead of a sofa had an extra bed that was very uncomfortable for sitting, the treatment of the staff, the location and the size of the room is excellent

A very central hotel in Agüimes. We stayed 2 nights in a superior room (room 10). Free parking can be found in the streets south of the hotel. Very friendly welcome with lots of advice (in English). Pretty planted courtyards, walkways to access the rooms. The layout of the rooms is a bit dated, but ours was large and bright. Those on the ground floor are darker and sometimes without a view. Buffet breakfast with a fairly limited choice. All around, the town of Agüimes is worth a visit with its many statues. An unusual place where we had a pleasant stay.

A small and amazing hotel, carefully looked after in every detail. The staff is lovely, the rooms are spacious and have everything you need for a good stay, and the breakfast is fantastic, with freshly cut local fruit and typical Canarian products. I recommend it to anyone spending a few days in the area. The town is fantastic, one of those where the neighbours greet you on the street, and it has fantastic trails and beaches nearby.

The truth is that the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very nice. It is an old house, cozy and with a good location in the center of the town. Walking area, restaurants nearby, this part is great. The staff was very friendly and attentive to us (Nelida and the cleaning lady on Saturday - she didn't tell us her name - took great care of us). On the negative side, I have to say that in 3 days of accommodation, I was not able to take a hot bath. They told us that you had to leave the water on for a while to heat up (more than 5 minutes on for sure... which seems like a waste to me). But even then, practically nothing hot came out and only a trickle came out. In addition to this, in the room there was a minibar that didn't work, and we couldn't have anything cold inside (with a heat wave) and they told us that it only served as a maintainer... It didn't convince us at all. I think there are more details that should be assessed in the rooms (cleaning of the air conditioning, peeling doors, cracks in the walls...)... Things to improve

The renovation (of this house used centuries ago by the Dutch) is not very well done. Little character, no soul. Breakfasts are served with great care but are nothing special.

Magnificent in every way, an old camel post converted into a beautiful rural hotel, the decoration is classic and elegant, with lots of wood, the interior patios are worthy of a movie, as well as the attention of the staff, both Juani and Ricardo have made us feel at home. Far from the typical tourist hotel, we have felt in heaven, especially because of the treatment of the staff. We will return to be able to enjoy it again.

Wonderful hotel if you are looking for something personal and charming. Beautiful. Friendly and professional treatment at the same time. Located in the center of Agüimes, 20 minutes from the airport. It does not have parking, but we had no problem parking in the surrounding area. Our room could not be more beautiful, with views of a courtyard and the towers of the nearby church. Cleanliness, impeccable. A 10 in everything.
