Aranzazu Plaza Kristal Aguascalientes

The staff was very nice, especially Hector and the GM. However, nothing else was. Our first room was tiny, dark and the shower leaked all over. The GM upgraded us to a larger room that was brighter but the bathroom was still absolutely terrible. I am disabled and had to lift myself over the side of the tub to shower. My head was extremely close to the ceiling. The shower was just bad. The restaurant served nasty slop three times a day. The bar could not make a gin and tonic or even a margarita. Do not eat at their buffet. It’s truly terrible. Menu items were better. The bed was nice and firm. There is not one decent restaurant in the area that is walkable or anything else. This is absolutely not a good location to go exploring from unless you take a cab. Don’t drive, as the traffic is wild and you won’t find a parking place. The internet was incredibly slow at the hotel. I could not watch anything on my iPad because the internet was insufficient to cover me and all the other guests. With some repairs and actual maintenance, this hotel could be fixed. The bathrooms need gutted. They only have bar soap and no wash cloths. We never received any maid service…no new clean towels, linens, making the bd or anything else. There was an old broken coffee pot in the room but there was no coffee or tea to go with it. We left six days early. We had enough. Do you think that we will get a refund for six days? I doubt it. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. There is a Quality Inn at city center. At least you could go walking from that hotel. I’m disgusted at everything.
