The Spa is excellent - quiet and very relaxing! Sofia gave me one of the best full body massages I have ever had, she is a superb and a very intuitive therapist. Many thanks to you Sofia - I would definitely recommend this Spa and Sofia for a treatment 😊.

Un établissement agréable et une qualité de prestation très correcte. Il est simplement dommage que toutes les prestations annoncées ne soient pas délivrées même si ce ne sont pas des points majeurs : Vin et fruits à l’arrivée dans votre chambre que nous n’avons jamais eu 1/4 h de massage gratuit par personne n’a jamais pu être pris car aucune place disponible sauf si vous payer un massage supplémentaire ! Mais globalement d’un bon niveau

Hôtel très correct Chambre spacieuse mais un peu vieillotte, bonne literie, salle de bain serait plus pratique avec une douche. Repas simples mais bon, on aurait Personnel du restaurant sympa et attentionné et qui fait des efforts pour parler Français …contrairement à la Réception qui n’en fait aucun malgré le nombre important de Français (pas très agréable) une bonne note également à Angelo pour sa gentillesse. Points négatifs : pas de bagagerie pour entreposer les valises en attente de transfert, il a fallu les laisser dans le hall d’accueil pendant 4h pas très pro !

This is a terrific hotel for adults and older teens (16+). The architectural design of the hotel is subtle and blends in sympathetically with the local landscape. The rooms are comfortable and the amenities are good with two large swimming pools. The hotel food is some of the best I've experienced on a package holiday, with a variety of appetizing Cretan dishes every day. The staff were all friendly and helpful, particularly Dimitri's wonderfully welcoming team in the restaurant. The hotel also features a great – and very affordable – little spa run by two top-notch masseurs, Manos and Sophia. There are lots of beautiful sandy beaches around the ancient port of Agios Nikolaos. So whilst the small pebble beach in front of the hotel may appear a little disappointing at first glance (despite its magnificent mountain backdrop), it unexpectedly offers some of the best snorkelling that we found on the east side of Crete. There are also numerous fascinating attractions within two hours drive (or boat trip) from the hotel, including the Venetian island fortress of Spinalonga, the Palace at Knossos (of course), and the hugely impressive, ruined hilltop city of Lato (the birthplace of Alexander the Great's admiral, Nearchus), which is a mere 20 minutes from the hotel and costs a mere €3 to enter. We spent a very enjoyable week at the Ariadne Beach, enjoying the warm October sunshine, and were sad to leave.

The hotel is very clean and the whole team management, reception, restaurant, chefs and waiting staff. Everyone works hard to make your stay a pleasant one. Nothing is too much trouble. Very courteous and polite. Teamwork at its best. The restaurant works like clockwork. Hats off to the head Chef and head of hospitality. Very relaxing stay. Just would have liked more entertainment in the main bar area., no disrespect to the bar staff who work hard.

We stayed here for a week at the end of Sept/beginning of October and we had a lovely stay. -The hotel is really well designed and looks lovely on the sides of the valley. There are plenty of steps/inclines around so I imagine it would prove difficult if you have mobility issues so bare that in mind. -The food was excellent a varied with a different theme each night, we never felt disappointed - the staff in the restaurant work so hard and were very gracious and helpful. -Housekeeping came every day, no issues here. -There was some entertainment during our stay, live singer and a DJ, however, we didn't really partake in this but the bar was busy on these nights. -The pool area was well maintained and the pool was very clean. -The beach outside the hotel was easy to get to, pebbly but 5 mins walk to the right and there was a sandy beach. -The only criticism I had was our bedroom was two single beds pushed together, and we would have preferred a proper double. Other wise, a very lush stay, would return :)

Chambre propre,confortable,, proximité de la ville à pieds ,2 piscines propres mais pas très chaudes ,restauration correcte ,service correct,chacun peut y trouver son choix mais c est basique .... plage en face ok avec chausson sinon impraticable et les transats sont en supplément ...la formule tout inclus c est avec la formule locale , bref c bien pour 4 * local.... rapport qualité/prix ,rien a redire, c bien ! Ca fait le job !

Lovely adult only hotel. Well laid out but on a hillside so maybe not for those with walking difficulties although hotel provide golfcart buggy service which is great. Staff couldn't be more helpful, nothing too much trouble including finding some glue for my friend's problematic shoe! Such a joy to wake in the morning and gaze out across the sea and mountain range from our balcony - decent size too. Everywhere spotless. Restaurant had changing themed evenings, and always a good range to choose from at each mealtime. Head chef Falto and his team work hard to deliver cracking service. Not been disappointed so far, and look forward to meals. Entertainment could be improved, there's no music in the main bar - I think there's some tech issue - but generally quiet in the evening. No Entertainment programme. An opportunity for hotel to review for next season? This is a lovely place to relax yet only 15min stroll into the main town of Ag.Nik for shopping, trips, night out.

Zo heerlijk gegeten. Er was zo veel keus. De kok was heel aardig en het personeel rende voor je. Als je een kamer boven op de berg heb, moet je veel trappen lopen. Maar het uitzicht is abominabel. De kamer was zeer ruim. Balkon is s avonds echt een aanrader je ziet allemaal gezelligheid. Ik persoonlijk vond 1 nadeel, en dat was douche in bad. Verder alles heel goed geregeld. Top
