Hotel is in a great position, 5 mins to the beach and beach front restaurants. Rashid organised a couple of trips for us which were great. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels, small balcony, sadly ours didn't get the sun! Pool area had plenty of sunbeds, lovely pool but cold at this time of year, we did vrave it though! Breakfast was fine, we didn't have any other meals as we like to go out and eat. We would stay again, a great place for some winter sunshine.

The Hotel and Complex were pleasant, the grounds well kept with trees, fountains and hedges plenty of greenery. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice variety but on one occasion I noticed that the Chef tried the milk and then removed it!!! I had just eaten my cereal on which I had poured the milk, so was concerned that it might have caused an issue!! Although comfortable both our room and the Hotel could use a little freshening up, splash of paint. But as we just had the B&B option we were out most of the time Two pools both well kept and with plenty of room around for relaxing and a bar for food and drinks. All in all a good time.

My first impressions for not great . We were kept waiting for our room after arriving at 11am we were not given our 2 rooms until 3pm . For such a large hotel I thought it was not the service we expected. The rooms were clean showers not powerful . Room service for simple things was NO SERVICE at all . Ckeaning staff room service staff did not speak English . Breakfast was amazing everything you could wish for was available . Fruits cut freshly . Omelettes made to your request . Ordering on the table was never smooth as to get attention from anyone was a problem too busy talking to each other . You had to wave your hand every single day to ge any attention . Lattes cold cutlery lacking . Cushions dirty . Same at loungers dirty . No one on hand to take orders . Apart from table tennis no other games available . No pool table or games room Or board games . For such a big resort attention to detail just wasn’t there. For the amount of money they charge the saving grace was the breakfast and the size of the rooms . It could be so much better . Spa charges not worth it . Couldn’t use indoor pool unless you booked spas day . Activity programme limited to just yoga and gym coach . So much potential to be a lot more but regrettably NOT. Requested drinks to watch sunset they came requested nuts coming coming they would say never came at all . Management never at hand to speak to GM unless you had an appointment . How can you voice anything if you have no one capable of voicing it to . The breakfast was definitely the only highlight at this hotel

We booked a package holiday for a girls weekend away and we were really impressed with the hotel!! The food was lovely and always different each day (the omelette station at breakfast was a winner!) The drinks were easy to get with three bars close to the pool area and all the staff were very friendly. The entertainment team were great and kept us smiling. Our room was ocean facing and was totally fine for the price we paid. Cleaners came daily and it was a good size room. The pool was big and plenty of space for everyone to get a sun lounger. There are also beach sun loungers reserved for the hotel guests. The beach is beautiful too. We asked for a restaurant recommendation for somewhere down at the Marina from the reception one evening and WOW it was superb. Our only slight hang up was that check in did take a long time but it wasn’t the worst we had experienced before.

**DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL - SCAM ALERT!** I had an absolutely terrible experience with this hotel and I strongly urge anyone considering staying here to think twice. I booked five rooms well in advance, and despite arriving at the hotel before 11:30 pm, they canceled my booking. Their excuse? They claimed the system was down and couldn't retrieve my reservation. Even worse, I had been in constant communication with their customer service, providing proof of emails that confirmed my arrival—my flight was running late, but I still made it on time. Customer service assured me that my booking was safe. However, when I arrived, the assistant manager had already marked me as a ”no-show” and tried to claim they had no communication from the head office. This hotel essentially **stole our money** for five fully paid rooms and is refusing to give anything back. It's a complete scam. They seem to prefer if you buy the room directly from them at a higher cost rather than through a third-party site. **On top of that, beware of the reviews! Most of them are fake and have been paid for by the hotel to boost their ratings with locals.** **BEWARE: This is a dodgy hotel. Stay somewhere else if you value your time, money, and peace of mind.**

On one of the finest beaches in Morocco, the Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay Resort is a rare gem. Inspired by the architecture of Moroccan riads, this 5-star resort invites you to live to the rhythm of Agadir, from the first rays of sun by the pool to the lively evenings at the SOUL nightclub.

After a few nights in Marrakesh we were really looking forward to a chilled experience in Agadir at Sofitel Royal Bay. We were so disappointed. We were greeted by friendly staff who helped us with bags and offered us a seat while we waited for check and the Riad was stunning but it all went a bit downhill from there… We were taken to our room before being told about any of the hotel facilities or where things were and timings for the restaurants. Our room however was very outdated and dark but clean. There were so many small things that really took away from the 5* experience: we had to get maintenance to sort a buzzing sound coming from the TV; on a couple of occasions we had to ask for our room to be cleaned and our bathroom door handle fell off! It seemed that the rooms with balconies were more up to date but given that the hotel had recently been refurbished we thought we’d be okay. Throughout our 4 night stay there was also a constant smell of wet paint and service men working on plugs hanging out of the walls? The weather was dull (which cannot be helped obviously) but there was nothing to do at the hotel other than lay by the pool. The entertainment of a nighttime was good but it was the same every night so got a bit tiresome. A big shout out to Youness for his FABULOUS customer service but otherwise nobody checked in with us or seemed bothered to help or serve which was so disappointing and we’d have preferred to order at the bars ourselves. We ate at the buffet one night which was okay and the Soul restaurant was nice (we then went to different restaurants so can’t comment on the food changing). Can echo some other comments, however, and the buffet definitely needed labels as we didn’t know what we were eating. It was a really underwhelming experience and did not run smoothly at all. We expected so much more.

GGuest UserWe have had a beautiful holiday in Zephyr Agadir. The Apar**ents modern style and are well equipped. The staff is always helpful and friendly. There are many ways to go to delicious food nearby, small supermarkets are accessible by foot.
I'll certainly book the accommodation again when I'm back in Agadir.
I recently went with a group. It was my first time at the hotel. All the staff were accommodating, and the hospitality was amazing. Our host, Khalil, was a true gentleman. He was determined to ensure our stay and experience were one we would remember. He was attentive to our needs and made recommendations of where we could go to eat and/or party. He made travel arrangements for us, too. The hotel staff were also lovely and paid attention to every detail. The rooms were cleaned, and the food was lovely. The pool servers were on hand to take our drink/food orders and provided us with towels. The security staff were friendly and all the staff greeted us with a smile. I'm recommending this to everyone because I had the best time!
GGuest UserThe hotel is great. Since I'm not picky, everything suited me. The room had an ocean view and it was worth it and made up for even minor shortcomings. Cleaning was done daily, water was changed every day. Breakfast is buffet, you won't leave hungry. There is direct access from the hotel to the beach, there are sun loungers and beach towels provided. There is a currency exchange at the reception, the rate was even more favorable than on the street. In general, in terms of price-quality ratio, I definitely recommend this hotel!
Positives: Hotel and room very clean, room cleaned, fresh towels daily and beds made. Rooms have balcony and good amenities fridge, microwave, hairdryer, kettle, etc. Breakfast was surprisingly good (after reading bad reviews) no fried breakfast but plenty of selection from cereal, bread/toast, omelettes, pastries, x3 kinds of pancakes, porridge, etc. Negatives: Lunch/Evening menu food was very poor, do not upgrade it tasted so cheap and nasty. No Bar! However, there is an off license across the road (Victoria's) so we bought beers and drank them in room/ by the pool but very few alcohol licenced places in general in Agadir. Beds in rooms are so hard. Neutral: location was about 15/20 min walk to beach downhill (there). There's a square for restaurants and a kids park / inflatable area about 5 minute walk. Local area is nice we found things spaced apart so hired a car for 2 days at £25 per day (300Mhr/day). No hotel shop but hotel next door has one and a much nicer cafe/restaurant. Just to note if coming with kids like we did, Agadir is not very child friendly, no childrens menus in most places (although plenty of McDs) lots of high pavements (not pushchair friendly) but we've managed and had a good holiday.
JJUNLONGHotel location is good, close to Agadir beach, facilities are perfect, the pool is very good, the price is not good for dinner, it is not recommended. The hotel's service attitude is superb, and welcomes a lot of drinks, desserts and guides. The lobby manager is especially good to like. A dead beach was painted on the beach, not bad. Because I only stayed for one night after catching a plane, Agadir is very beautiful as a European winter resort.
HHUIThe location of the hotel is very good, there are many shops and restaurants around the hotel; the hotel has its own parking lot, which is convenient for people traveling by car; the environment 1 of the hotel, especially the greenery, is very good; but for the four-star positioning hotel, the hotel The facilities are a bit dated and humble, and domestic Samsungs are much better than this. Especially the bed was particularly uncomfortable and too soft, but the area of the room was quite large; breakfast was ok, there were many Europeans and Americans, the international atmosphere was good, and Wifi was particularly fast!
BBoujibarSaharThe appartement was so pretty and the stuff were helpful and nice the hotel has a good view and the breakfast was amazing I only spent 1 night but it was perfect I’ll definitely go back again
HhqeaavoenamcxxthI have stayed at this hotel previously and left great reviews. However this trip was very different and after 2 weeks I moved out to the hotel next door which is much better. The front of house staff here are delightful, particularly Karima. However staff on the pool bar/ cafe are inexperienced and need training. They also kept running out of wine. I had one pizza lunch here which was dreadful. Breakfast is good. I was allocated one of the refurbished rooms with a sea view. It looked great, although the bathroom was tiny - as I was staying solo, that didn't really matter. Some service issues with room which wasn't cleaned one day, Toiletries were not replaced and I ran out of toilet paper twice. The safety deposit box didnt work. The towels were grey and had many threads hanging off them. Sadly it is currently more of a building site that a hotel- they are working at different sites within the hotel and grounds, and it is impossible to avoid loud building work from 10am to 7pm. Rooms are being completely refurbished - doors and windows and flooring and bathrooms. Consequently lots of drilling and banging. They are also replacing the 2 lifts-- one was out of service and will be for quite some more time. The other is new but went out of service at least three times during my stay- but was quickly repaired. Waiting times for the lift were unacceptable. They were also building a large wooden structure in the gardens. Consequently, 6 days of heavy electric stapling going on ! I think they tried to drown out some of the building noise by playing loud music from 9.30 onwards. It didn't work and the music itself became very irritating ! After dark the noise from the pool bar / cafe is totally unacceptable, as they ramp up the music until 11pm or later. Twice a week they have karioke which really is horrendous- so so load. Terrible voices. Mainly French songs. It really was so bad but they refused my requests to turn the sound down- there only suggestion at 11pm was to move rooms- but that included packing and removing all my clothing , too - so hardly acceptable ! I thought they were just giving me a quiet room to sleep in , but no ! The Internet quality is very poor. It comes and goes even in reception! Do not expect to get connection in your room. Most guests form a huddle in reception to gain an Internet connection. Finally, the pricing. I paid about £40 per night for this hotel for a 2 week booking and a separate 1 week booking. I tried to book for the 4th week but was quoted over €150euros per night ! What ? No way is this even a €100 per night hotel!! In any event I cancelled and moved out after 2 weeks - that was the worst 2 weeks I have ever had in a hotel ! MY advice. Do not stay here!! Please look at photos.
GGuest UserI would have given this 4/5 from our actual experience at the hotel. However due to the works going on directly outside the hotel I thought this was fair. The hotel is bang in the city centre of Agadir. Although the hotel is not undergoing any refit the areas outside are. Having spoken with the locals they are preparing for the African nations cup in 2025 and the World Cup in 2030. It didn’t affect our experience tbh but it may for some. We found the people at the hotel fantastic. They were very friendly and helpful, printed off our boarding passes and gave us some tips on things to do. We found the room comfortable and it was cleaned everyday. The sky bar on the top floor is used by locals with local music entertainment. We really enjoyed mixing with the locals and all were very friendly. If you are looking for a pool holiday this is probably not for you as we found this our least favourite part of the hotel. It’s about a 15 min walk down to the beach area and probably 25 mins to the marine. This was not an issue for us as we liked the mix of tourist/local experience. There’s a little bar just over the road from the hotel which we enjoyed. Everyone we came into contact with was so friendly, we shared drinks and dancing with people of all different nationalities in there. We would like to return to this hotel once the works have been completed to give it the full experience. We did get a bargain holiday and it was def worth the price we paid, although I feel the hotel may get some iffy reviews because of its current surroundings. Guess if you are aware of this before you book then expectations are met.
GGuest UserAbsolutely disgusting hotel. We changes rooms 3 times and every single one of them was a mess. The toilets don’t flush, we had cockroaches in every one of our rooms in the drawers, under the mattress (literally everywhere) the beds are like sleeping on springs, we got charged for the us of the safe yet did not have a key that worked in 2 of the rooms, the lights didn’t work properly in any of the rooms. It stated we had a phone, we had no phone, they stated we had toiletries, we had no toiletries, we had 1 towel a day between 2 of us despite keep asking for another. They used plastic bottle replacing a bed leg, the whole floor would flood after a show (I slipped twice) and that is just the rooms. The pool is murky, loud club music blasting out all day round the pool, cat poo all over the place. And as for the breakfast, we paid £100 extra for a buffet breakfast (apparently) we got x1 coffee each x1 1 egg omelette each (just egg) and x 2 bits of dry bread with jam and it was the exact same every morning and that was our limit. We wasn’t allowed any more or anything different brought to a table no buffet in sight for £100. We wasn’t expecting much as it was cheap but my goodness this place is an absolute disgrace
