Grecotel-Luxme Costa Botanica

Still here, last day tomorrow. 2 adults 2 boys aged 14 & 12. If your like me when looking at hotels and takes you months deciding because your put off my negative reviews, I will for you do a very honest review of this hotel. We went last week of the season, everything was still open until the last day. Room- we are in 301 ground floor, private terrace and garden. Room is plenty big enough for us, boys in separate room and bathroom between, I found that they had everything that was needed and cleaned sufficiently, mini bar topped up daily with plenty of water. Did find that the one occasion we used the espresso machine the pods were not topped up. Beds comfy for us but only one pillow. Food - breakfast very good selection of food, omelettes made to order and found everything hot. I’m a very fussy eater, I don’t eat salad but found something every day to eat, salads looked gorgeous, a good variety and good quality food, I would say one negative and that there is not enough pudding selections, other than that food is superb. The A la carte restaurants are all very good, food hot and very tasty. Drinks - amazing selection of drinks including branded spirits, very good selection of wines throughout all restaurants, you can ask for wine menu in buffet and still order good wine, the wine tasting is worth doing and Georgia is very good. Cocktails spot on. Tea and good coffee available at all times. Facilities- so everything is spread out, all pools are very good the only issue we found with the water park is there was no bar so no cocktails, you have to walk about 5 minutes to the pool bar to get cocktails. There is soft drinks, beer and pancakes and ice cream available though. Beach bar is lovely and very good spot for late afternoon cocktails. Sun beds always available everywhere, no signs of people reserving sun beds. In fact no sign of those sort of people at all. Staff- Amazing staff can’t do enough. I’m not sure I would want to come in height of the season or pay the price for this but for what we paid for our week in October I am extremely happy with and can not recommend enough. Truly fantastic hotel that had touches of luxury. One negative not the hotels fault but wasps and mosquitos are a pain in the butt, I have only ever been bitten max 5 times in my 42 years of existence, I had that by day one. My husband on the other hand who normally gets eaten alive had only 2, he was taking B1 a week before and used spray daily so I think this helped him a lot. Another thing, bring jumpers for October, it gets chilly on the evenings and the restaurants are outside.

Had a weeks stay after a cruise , long transfer. Lovely check in Room good , good shower Wi fi worked everywhere even on the beach Food good , great choice of drinks especially non alcoholic. Take shoes for the beach The water park looked great After it rained got badly bitten

This hotel surpassed all of my expectations, this was my first experience of an all inclusive and travelling alone with two children (9&13) we visited late July. Although I have nothing to compare against I doubt anything could compare! So in summary (in absolutely no order!)..... - We were welcomed (with clear overview of hotel) as soon as we arrived and looked after until we stepped on the bus to leave - Service was efficient, quick and with a smile - Rooms cleaned and restocked seamlessly - We had 3 of us in a double room (extra bed) and there was plenty of room. - Life guards on site, attentive and very kindly stepped in to help my son with a large splinter! - Birthday cake delivered to my door on my birthday which was such a lovely surprise - flexible to arrange a late checkout - The hotel was full but it didn't feel busy - Food choice and quality amazing - I always felt safe and comfortable with 2 children alone - Large array of diverse friendly activities - Great mix of aqua park/pools/beach atmospheres with towels available - Sun loungers always available - Our room was just off the main square however not affected by noise at all - Al a carte was easy to book on the app (week before arrival) and restaurants were exceptional - When I did have any questions the use of WhatsApp from the hotel app was great, always got a quick and friendly response which answered any questions I had - I had fully prepared for mosquitos but not one bite between three of us, we had bracelet repellants on, but I didn't even hear any. We loved it here and have already looked into booking again.

I don’t normally leave reviews but my lovely wife & I have just had a wonderful few days in this hotel. We’ve travelled extensively across Europe & US but honestly have to say this is one of best hotels we’ve stayed in. It’s family friendly (we left ours at home) and the staff are exceptional - very well trained and always courteous. I had an issue with a mosquito bite (I’m always very popular with them wherever we go) and they organised a doctor to visit hotel, and arranged a taxi to pick up the prescription (special mention to Maria on reception for all her help). Food was excellent in all restaurants and the wine tasting is a must (Georgia is very knowledgeable and a brilliant host). Rooms were spotless and there’s loads of activities on site. Definitely worth considering this hotel if you ever visit Corfu.

The hotel was absolutely luxurious and the staff were extremely friendly, always wearing a smile. The beach was so clean and there were plenty of bars around. The food was always fresh and never disappointed. The facilities were never too busy and the quality was amazing

My husband and I have recently returned home after a 10 day holiday at this beautiful hotel. We had such a friendly welcome when we arrived and this continued with all the Staff being exceptional. The Staff were always very happy to help and were always smiling. The food was delicious and there was plenty of choice. We had an excellent room which was cleaned daily. The hotel is on a large site and has a good beach with plenty of sunbeds. Due to the time of year there were mosquitoes so just remember to take insect repellent for the evenings. We had a fabulous time and will definitely plan to go back.

I'm not sure how there are any negative reviews of this hotel! We stayed for 4 days and wished we were there longer. Our room was upgraded at no extra cost, we had mentioned it was our anniversary and were given a complimentary bottle of wine and champagne in the room along with a flower heart on the bed. The rooms are in excellent condition and are cleaned daily. The staff are all lovely and really attentive - I'd recommend booking the wine tasting, the lady teaching it is great. The bookable restaurants food is delicious and the buffet selection in the main restaurant is vast and changes daily. My only negative is the wine in the main restaurant is pretty average compared to the amazing selection in the bookable restaurants. We'll definitely book another Grecotel in the future.
