I stayed at Sheraton before and I stayed here again when I came to Abuja. Everything else was good except the bed was too soft.

Not bad, but the Internet holiday is a bit expensive, but it’s still acceptable. The Continental Hotel Abuja is located in the city center, and overall it’s good. It’s a hotel you can come back to, recommended.

The new wing is quite comfortable. I love the balcony and the view of the Abua skyline in the mornings. The staff were also kind and helpful. Chimi supported me throughout my stay. The security supervisor located car key I lost in a jiffy. Looking forwarding to coming again.

My organiziation held a workshop here recently. 100% prepayment was expected before arrival. I found that a bit odd but we accepted. Then numerous changes took place prior to arrival. So many things sold to us that were not there. No more Italian restuarant but now a Chinese restaurant that they sold us a team dinner for double the PApplion resturant but for less service and quality. Everyone was disappointed. Be very careful with the conference rooms. There is simply too much noise and it is disruptive to the workshop. Rooms are still 20+ yrs old so no new renovations. No pool even though that is on the front page of the website. The conference staff are not in sync with the actual billing team and attempted to make us over pay numerous times. The entire hotel is full of dusk from the works. There is only 1 real restaurant and it serves a buffet for lunch and dinner which gets pretty boring. On the positives, the new gym is quite good I think and the entire complex is big so that is nice. Staff are very friendly. Airport trasfers were very good.

The bed was wonderful (mattress, pillows, bed linen). The room very quiet. The renovation work in the hotel was not disturbing in terms of noise. It was just sad that the pool could not be used! This has to be informed when the reservation is made and not by the check in.

The hotel is still transitioning from being a Sheraton but is still a great place to stay. I have stayed here now for several days each month for the last ten months. Its service level is consistent and very good. In particular, although the swimmig pool is being renovated (completion January 2025) when I needed a sun lounger to lie out on, one was quickly found and put in a private area for me. That was a great bit of service. I would just WhatsApp that I would be down and the lounger would be placed in position with two towels and a small table just as requested, Brillinant!!

My immediate reaction when I was showed my room was to say "life is good". Wonderful balcony view, softest bed and the fluffiest pillows, all round amazing staff. Largest breakfast buffet ever! Amazing meal options - local & intercontinental.
