The saddest overseas hotel trip. I waited from 2pm to almost 5pm before I got the room. I was shocked when I opened the door. The bed type was totally different from the one I booked. The hotel was too old. The door lock was broken. The sliding French window could not be closed and locked. The shower could not be switched. Even the hair dryer made a tractor sound. It was super big. The terrace was very dirty and there were still many adult stains that had not been cleaned. The bar description given by the front desk was that there were snacks and cocktails from 6 to 9pm, but when I went to the bar, I was told that the meals were only from 6 to 8pm and cocktails were never served. The beach would be cleared and closed at around 7pm. The breakfast was average. Unlike many hotels that would change the style, 95% of it was repeated every day.

This time I came to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, stayed for 10 days, and stayed in 6 hotels, including Hilton Garden Inn Iran Town, W Yas Island, Waldorf Astoria Palm Island, SLS Dubai, etc. The experience of Le Meridien Abu Dhabi was the worst! It's not that it's old, but from the service point of view. 1. I drove to the hotel entrance at night, and no one cared, and no one parked. I took my children to put down my luggage one by one, but still no one cared. The cars in front of me and behind me parked actively, and I waited for 5 minutes and asked actively before they helped me park. You can check the surveillance at the hotel entrance that night! 2. "Thank you" the front desk for giving me a room farthest from the elevator. I usually prefer to stay in the last room, but thinking that it was past 11 o'clock and I was with my children, I didn't want to "travel a long way" back to the front desk to change rooms. 3. When I took a shower at night, there was a problem with the floor drain in the shower room, and the water could not go down. I called a maintenance worker to fix it at 12 o'clock. After 5 minutes, he said it was OK, but the shower was flooded again. Because it was already late, the family of three could only bathe while soaking their feet, which was very disgusting🤢 (see photos) 4. For breakfast, because there were many people, a waiter took us to a table, but before we sat down, another waiter said that this was a 5-person table, and there were only 3 of us, so we couldn't sit! (Actually it was a 4-person table, and one more seat was added), we could only follow the waiter to a 2-person table, and add another person. The table was very small and couldn't hold the plates of 3 people. I just accepted it and didn't bother to care. In summary, I really don't recommend it.

The overall stay experience is very satisfactory! High cost-effectiveness in the off-season! It is relatively close to Yas Island and the Louvre! There is a large supermarket near the hotel with very cheap prices! First of all, I would like to give a special thumbs up to the hotel service staff. From the front desk to the room service staff, they are polite and enthusiastic. They will greet you warmly when you enter the hotel! Equipped with valet parking, they will chat with us while waiting for the car. The buffet restaurant has rich and delicious dishes. The first day of check-in was Friday, the dishes were particularly rich, and the atmosphere was lively! I was very satisfied with the breakfast and dinner included. I had brunch every day and went out to play. I returned to the hotel at night to enjoy a beautiful dinner. I was very satisfied! There is no need to drag your tired body to find food everywhere in the heat wave! The shortcomings of the hotel are that the room facilities are slightly old and the sound insulation is poor! The beach is average, and the swimming pool is basically suitable for children to play in the water!

The soundproofing is very poor. You can hear the conversations next door! For two consecutive nights, one night someone was on a conference call, and the other night someone played loud music in the middle of the night! I woke up directly and asked for a refund!

The breakfast is good and varied. The swimming pool is also quite classy. The hotel is right by the sea, so you can go directly to the beach. Occasionally you will receive small food gifts. You can get a free cup of coffee every time you stay.
