We had a really enjoyable stay, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very nice everything was spotless and the food was great. We would certainly visit again.

Wonderful hotel in a small town in the middle of the Salzkammergut. Abtenau is an hour drive from Salzburg, and as a homebase you are an hour from endless mountains, skiing, lakes, and other beautiful sights. Everyone, from the owners to the wait staff, are friendly and helpful. The room is well appointed with a relaxing balcony. And the restaurant is the best in town – everyone comes here for dinner or their amazing desserts. The half-board option is a great idea and gives you opportunity to try dishes you may not order on your own. As I said, this is a great homebase for visiting the region – thanks to everyone for making our stay great!

Hotel con arredi di buon livello, personale disponibile, buona colazione e buon ristorante. Una delle mancanze che ho riscontrato è l assenza del frigobar in camera e la reception h 24, per un hotel a 4 stelle dovrebbero essere obbligatorie.

Wir waren 4 Tage im neu renovierten Doppelzimmer. Sehr schickes Zimmer, alles in Holzoptik, mit eigener Dachterrasse und Blick auf den Karkogel. Couch, Schreibtisch, Hocker, großer TV, Großer Kleiderschrank, großes Bad (Handtuchhalter an der Badezimmertüre wären schön gewesen, ebenso noch ein kleines Regal an der Wand), Föhn, Dusch + Haargel, Seife Sauna nicht genutzt Kostenloses Internet (geht super) Gästekarte gibt's gratis (viele Vergünstigungen) Kostenlose Parkplätze Das Abendessen war immer sehr lecker (es gab immer zwei Hauptgerichte zur Auswahl). Das Frühstück auch mit toller Auswahl, verschiedene Semmeln und zwei Brotsorten, Müsli, Kuchen, Wurst, Käse, Obst & Gemüse (geschnitten), Marmeladen, Nutella, 5min. Eier (auf den Punkt genau), verschiedene Teesorten, Kaffee (wird frisch an Tisch gebracht), heiße Schokolade, Säfte usw. Direkt im Zentrum (neben der Kirche) Zu Fuß ca 15min. bis Liftstation zum Karkogel oder in wenige Autominuten dort. Gastgeber freundlich und auch bei Tipps hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr zu empfehlen
