We found our double room was clean & spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was constantly replenished & ideal. The hotel is conveniently placed close to the promenade & town. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Not on the street of Linhai. In the back street. Walk 3-5 minutes to the beach. Parking is on the roadside and is free.
We booked a one-bedroom apartment without breakfast. We were given a room in an apartment that also included breakfast for four people👍The apartment had an oven, microwave, stove and tableware. We bought food and wine in the supermarket in advance and it was very comfortable to eat in the apartment.
There is a small train called Cliff Railway nearby, which costs 7 pounds to go to Cliff. It is worth going to see the scenery of the whole town by the sea. In the summer of August, the temperature is only 15-16 degrees and the wind is very strong

A mixed experience… To be fair, the room we had on the ground floor by the entrance to the parking area was large and the shower was really good pressure. However, during the night there was an extremely loud conversation on the street outside that appeared to be someone involved with the hotel trying to find someone in distress accommodation for the night. They said they didn’t have keys on them, and told the person they could squeeze through the window! At this point, steps approached our window onto the street and the male voice said ‘not that one, the next one down!’ Later, one of the two voices became involved in a nasty argument that sounded like it was about to escalate into violence, right outside. Maybe the upper level rooms or a different part of them hotel are okay, but this disruption was alarming and I saw in an review elsewhere that the ‘budget four seasons rooming house’ next door seemed to be a half way house or something - this totally matches my experience. All rather weird, but I’ve got to say the breakfast was excellent.

My husband is there now. Booked a single room without en suite for £99 a night B&B. Check in was at 3pm and he and other guests were waiting until 3.45pm for their rooms. No apologies given by staff! The room allocated is in adjacent building at the top of the stairs. The bathroom facilities are two floors down. My husband’s room is grubby! However, when opened a draw to put stuff away there was left over takeaway within. Told receptionist in main hotel, but they weren’t interested. Didn’t offer him another room or a discount on this abysmal room. Shocking room, shocking customer care. He can’t find another room in Aberystwyth as they’re all full!

I’ve booked this hotel for one night, then suddenly had to cancel because we had an accident and we had to spend the night at the hospital. I’ve asked the cancelation without penalty through Booking and sent messages to the hotel asking for a refund, never received an answer. Thank you for being so unhuman, hope that everyone reads this and chooses another place to stay.

Booked a few months in advance & paid for to be told when I rang to check on a room detail, that they could not accommodate us - 2 days before we were due to arrive! The man who I spoke to was very rude & said it was not his problem! His manner and attitude was disgusting, stay well clear!

Our booking was made two months in advance of our planned stay on 31/8 for two nights. The money was taken on 26/8 and then a very rude phone call on 28/8 to say that we were double booked and our stay was cancelled.The RAC rally was on and they obviously cancelled us to re-let at a higher rate. This is very sharp practice and we will never go near the four seasons again.
