Lovely staff. Very attentive very friendly, but But £14 FOR A ROUND WHICH WAS COSTING £8 ISH IN TOWN 😒😲😲😲😲!!!!!!Shocked nothing more I can say...prices unbelievable!!!!!!!! Don't think we will return...what more can I say. Sorry amazing toilets 😆

Unfortunately, I need a firm bed to sleep on. In spite of requesting that up front and again when I confirmed my reservation, I was put in a room with a soft, broken mattress. The staff were really helpful on arrival, I was moved to room 10 very very small, but a good bed as no others were available. The next night I moved rooms again to room 8 which also had a firm bed. The room I finally ended up with was pretty good, but there was a lot of hassle moving all my gear from one room to another. I was very disappointed that the hotel didn't think to give me a discount after all of the hassle. First bad experience I have had staying at the Angel. Parking is very very expensive. The car park is small, but the daily cost for a reserved space is enormous. Still a lovely place to stay, but it has become expensive and the booking process is shambolic. On site, the staff were very good though, no complaints there.

Blimey is this place expensive, £20 for a Burger and chips! But this really was a lovely place to go for a family lunch. Service was faultless and staff took a keen interest in our 8 month old daughter, which was nice. Tried the local beer and that was beautiful and refreshing. Had to chuckle though: the child's beef burger was nearly the same size as the adult one. Hysterical.

Lovely building, lovely staff, lovely room, lovely restaurant, lovely food, lovely breakfast. Basically, just plain lovely. A real home away from home where you are treated as friends, not clients. Beds very comfortable, rooms well appointed. It's hard to find fault, so I won't.

I ordered a full cooked Breakfast. The quality of ingredients were the highest quality. And fantastically cooked. The best cooked breakfast by far in Abergavenny. Service was attentive. Coffee was a filter and great. I would throughly recommend the Angel Abergavenny.

We stayed here for 2 nights and really couldn’t fault it. The hotel has been beautifully and luxuriously renovated and our room was super comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff very friendly. The parking to the rear of the hotel was very well managed. Highly recommend.

We booked the hotel in order to go to their Sister restaurant, the walnut tree They arranged taxis both ways and looked after us including a room upgrade The hotel is well located in the centre of town but has a residents car park which was ideal

My husband had stayed here on business and thought I would enjoy it. All of the fresh flowers from an overabundance greeting us in the courtyard off of the parking lot where they had reserved a spot for us, to the front desk to our beautifully decorated room there were spectacular spring flowers. The room was very clean

We stayed in the Angels sister hotel. Hotel Abergavenny. We ate twice at the Angel hotel once for lunch and again for dinner. The restaurant is of excellent quality and the staff where helpful and went above and beyond with hospitality. The food is amazing and the service is also excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for high quality meal and service. Thank you our meal exceeded our expectations.
