Glad I found this gem. We were attending a wedding and owner was so obliging and let us check in early so we could get ready. Our room was spacious, clean and the Dads cookies and wagon wheel chocolate ( both 🇨🇦 treats) were much appreciated along with coffee and tea. Continental breakfast was plenty in a nice room overlooking beautiful greenery and garden. We definitely recommend and would book here again.

Charming decor! Lovely view of vineyards. Was told not to use the balcony and it did have visible water damage. Surfaces were dusty but when I complained they cleaned it. Hosts put continental breakfast items in the fridge since I had to leave before the complimentary breakfast opens.

Beautiful movie-themed rooms with corresponding DVDs available. Kind and accommodating proprietor. Nice continental breakfast included. Very quiet and sense of safety in a residential neighborhood. However, although the surfaces were fine, the room is badly in need of a deep clean. Thick dust on baseboards, under the furniture and behind some furnishings detracted from an otherwise stealer stay.

Such a lovely stay. From the moment we were met by owner Chris.. we felt welcomed and special. Delicious breakfast, gorgeous rooms, cozy, comfy beds. Chris and his wife have created a lovely place to stay while in Abbotsford. Happy Anniversary to us. Thank you so much for everything.

We have mixed feelings about this place. The positives: the host was very pleasant & made us feel very welcome; the rooms are all themed and unique; continental breakfast was croissants, muffins, fresh fruit, juice, yogurt; beautiful modern shower. The negatives: very noisy air conditioner; broken toilet seat; bed was too soft for my liking (personal taste); couldn't get the dvd player working to watch the movie that went with the theme room.

I booked a room here online when I was still on Vancouver Island. I then tried to book a ferry crossing and found they weren't sailing, so called right away to cancel. No refund. Was charged even though I wasn't there. And the bill even overcharged for 'HST' of 13%! Taxes in BC are currently 7% PST & 5% GST which totals 12%. Be very careful with the billing at this hotel.

The Inn is having staffing issues which means the rooms, including breakfast room, are not as clean as they could be with dust and dirty floors throughout. I found two safety pins on the area rug in our room. The gourmet breakfast was store bought muffins, yogurt and fruit. We had problems staying connected to the Wifi or getting hot water in the shower. There is a busy street next to the inn with noisy traffic well after midnight.

The breakfast was extraordinary. Eggs Florentine, fresh fruit, compote, home baked bread and bacon. Best "breakfast included" I have ever had.. The hotel has 6 rooms , each with a movie based theme. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Really enjoyed our stay. Would come again...

I don't often feel compelled to write reviews, but if there was ever a place deserving of the time taken to do so, it is the Brookside Inn. The hotel is outstanding, the room one of the nicest I've ever stayed in, and excellent value considering some of the alternatives in the Vancouver area. The breakfast was superb, the sort of thing you'd see in the highest of high end hotels. Everything about the Inn showed a great deal of care and attention to detail, and it's clear that the proprietors take a great deal of pride in ensuring that guests have a great stay. If I return to this part of Canada I will certainly stay again.
