Have not stayed here, however have had a lovely meal here! I came here with family on Sunday for the Sunday Lunch, where they have 2 courses for £30 or 3 courses for £35. The decoration was beautiful in there, having been recently redecorated. The mix of old and new characteristics have been done so beautifully, and the fireplace was just gorgeous to the room. The staff were nice, and were happy to help you once you were sat down. Very attentive and quick to help with anything you need. The food was lovely! The starter I had of the mushroom on the sourdough was incredible, crunchy bread with a lovely sauce. The main event of roast beef was nice, but my only complaint was that it was sliced quite thin and would prefer to have it thicker. The desert I had was a delicious sticky toffee pudding which was very good, it wasn't too sweet and was the perfect amount of saucey. Overall, it was a lovely meal and place to be, and would recommend others to try it out!
