"The facilities were stylish and nice. Although it was a bunker bed, the floor height was high, so there was no inconvenience when using the lower floor. It was nice that each bed had blinds. On the 3rd floor, the kitchen, bathroom, and toilet were outside the room, and it was a room for 6 people, including 2 people. However, there was no information other than the room floor and bed number. Even though the reservation included breakfast, there was no notice or explanation about breakfast times. I went down to the cafe and said, ‘I have a reservation that includes breakfast. 'What time is breakfast tomorrow?' I asked. I could ask... but I was confused... I went in and out of the kitchen to check on the situation... I waited for 5 minutes. The male staff member wrote down a breakfast ticket for me at 6 or 7 o'clock, telling me what I wanted, coffee, milk and juice. When I came down a little after 6 o'clock in the morning, the cafe lights were off, as expected. The kitchen light was on so I tried to go, but the automatic door from the albergue to the cafe was locked. I went outside and knocked on the door, and he pointed to a door next to me. When I went there, I heard a voice, so I knocked and called someone. A male employee whom I had never seen before asked me to wait a bit, so I waited, but 10 minutes had passed. Since I had to walk a long distance, I thought I would have to give up breakfast, so I went back to that gate. ‘I am a guest. We were informed that we could have breakfast at 6 o'clock. My journey has been delayed. I would like a refund for breakfast.' I told him to wait until the manager came. He said he would come down soon.. A part-timer at the cafe was at work, so I told him the same thing, and he just laughed. I waited for 10 minutes and they didn't come, so I thought it would be better to just eat breakfast, so I ordered and ate it. I waited 45 minutes for a meal that should have been over in 5 minutes, and the journey was delayed on a rainy day, so I am leaving this review very tired. The facilities are good and there are few people, so if you want to rest quietly, I recommend skipping breakfast."

"The room is clean and tidy, drying clothes and laundry equipment are provided, the hotel is very close to the pilgrimage road, the fly in the ointment is far from the town center, but there are delicious bakeries and restaurants across the road to make up for this! Materials can be purchased in the town and then stayed at the hotel."

"I’ve just looked at the lovely pictures of this property. It’s not quite what I recognise from my visit in April 2024. Reception was very difficult to find - it was underground in what I described as a bunker! Something catastrophic has happened to the building above ground - it’s now a concrete plinth. The dining area was in the ‘bunker’ - wine was available but beer came from a fridge . . . Beverages were limited. Food was poor and served by staff who were rushed off their feet! The accommodation in the wooden buildings was fine - no issues! I think travellers need to know that things aren’t what they used to be!"

"I stayed at Casa Bolboreta when walking the Camino. It is located a bit off the Camino but the friendly owner picked me up from Casanova at no extra cost. Casa Bolboreta is a warm and welcoming place. The food was great and catered for a variety of dietary requirements. There is a lovely quiet walk to a castle nearby that is worth doing. "

"Our room was cute enough! Service at the desk was awesome. However, it’s far from other locations and the restaurant here is absolutely awful. Inedible by all four of my group for several of the dishes. Stick to cheese plates, the lentil soup was great, and the salad. That’s it. The steak was so bad I took only half a bite. The fish was so bad both people took zero bites. And one of them loves eating the fish head. This was really bad. Also not very helpful or good service with dinner. So you are stuck here. We did receive massages and they were good. The site itself is beautiful and a nice reprieve if only you didn’t have to eat here because of its distance from town. We were on camino and stayed here June 2025."

"This place is wonderful. Beautiful exposed stone walls and high ceilings. The owner is so sweet she was so welcoming from the start. Our room was clean, beautiful and the beds very comfortable. When we went down for diner the owner cooked us one one the best meals I have had since walking on the camino. I expressed that my legs were a little sore from the long days hike and she brought me out a special spray that helped with my aches and pains. I can't say enough about the wonderful hospitality we experienced. I recomend this as a quiet and lovely spot to relax and rejuvenate !"

"Our favorite hotel so far on the Camino! Cool farmhouse with big windows to see the Mountain View. Great location, friendly staff, room are clean. About 8k off the Camino but the grandson will pick you up from town. Great wine and food too! Buen Camino!"
