We stayed here for 1 month in August, and now we returned again. Indiana Hotel is a great option for affordable accomodation in Cairo. Located in Dokki, a pleasant area with lots of shops, cafes, pharmacies nearby, and the river nile 2 min walk away with beautiful restaurants. The best thing about the hotel is the spacious, big rooms, comfy beds. Large fridge, TV, lots of seating area in the room, Also they include breakfast which makes it better value, you can expect things like Egyptian bread, fresh salad, falafel, and free coffee or tea. The staff are all friendly, accommodating. If you are looking for basic, clean accomodation it's perfect. located in a nice area of Dokki. Recommend cafe Antakh 2min walk away.

Lovely staff who saw to all my needs and paid attention to detail. The location is quite far from the airport but obviously close to the pyramids. I did book the Nile river cruise through the hotel and the driver was quite weird. He stayed with us on the table and it was quite an invasion of our privacy. The hotel will probably call and say they have a free gift offered I.e driving to different stations like the papyrus paper shop and oil store, it’s information but a little waste of time.

Not the best Marriott I had ever visited. Booked because of the pyramid view. Room is spacious but a little old, service at the buffet is so-so (restaurant staff started eating buffet food 30 mins before closing - which was weird to looks we were still dining in), room service menu choices are limited (basically the same as in the restaurant with lesser options).

The excellent review is primarily based on the service from the staff at the hotel that were very frendly and did their best to make us feel good during our stay. Special thanks to Abdo for the great experiance, and Mahmood for the nicely arranged day trips. The view from the room with a balcony is also great. However, there are plenty of things for the managment to upgrade in order to get a realistik 'excellent' review. First of all - breakfast ain't no buffet. It might see like a lot from a first sight, but 4 pieces af some kind of ham, 2 pcs. og cheese and 2 pcs. of butter is pretty much enogh for just one sandwich pr. person (we were two). There were though other food choices on the table, so you don't end up hungry, but after all the breakfast is all the same, so there is not variabillity .. There is only one choice of juice - orange. Coffee is paid separetly (we got it for free). Overbooking issues - on the first night, our room was not available, and we were transferred to a different hotel (far under avarage quallity), so we had to put up a 'fight' to get our originally booked room the day after. If you book a room on the last floor, be prepared from the annoying noice for table moving on the rooftop every morning around 6.30 am. The last two days, were pretty much a noice disaster, due to construction work, that in a normal world, should be done when the hotel has no guests.. After all i'd saiy you get what you pay for - we got it cheap, and that says it all :) A tip for other travellers: Always negotiate your price and never say yes to the first offer when it comes to a day trips, transfers etc. When you hear that it can not be done cheaper - keep pushing until you get the realistic price you want.

I was travelling by coach up from Hurghada which got delayed meaning i wouldn’t arrive until 2am, I also had problems with my phone so could not contact to inform. Getting into Cairo when my signal sorted, I received a msg from the Night porter saying He was looking forward to expecting me and to contact if any problems.. Only issue was finding the entrance but Osama came out to meet me in seconds of msging.. He asked what time i would like breakfast and asked if i would like awake up call at said time. Excellent warm friendly service, I had to get a picture with Osama in the morning before he finished his shift just to remember his fantastic warm welcoming smile Will certainly advise anyone to stay here for a great budget boutique hotel experience

If you wanna wake up with a fantastic pyramid view then this is the right place, but don't expect much from the hotel, The guys at the reception will try to sell you overpriced tours to the pyramids that are absolutely not necessary, guides can't entry the pyramids, so you will have a person only rushing you around, just buy the 2 tickets in front of the hotel and you will be perfectly fine, uber works perfectly in Cairo.

This hotel does what it says. It’s opposite the entrance to the pyramids and the view is outstanding. I arranged a pick up from the hotel and it was so reassuring having someone there to greet me. My room wasn’t quite ready so I was sent to the rooftop bar for breakfast. This was outstanding. Probably enough food for five people. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The room is fine. I never had hot water but I probably didn’t really need it. Would recommend

Our stay at Azal Pyramids Hotel was fantastic! The room was beautiful, and having a safe big enough to hold a laptop made our tours even more enjoyable, as I never had to worry about my work computer. The wonderful pool was perfect for a refreshing dip after a hot day. The standout was the exceptional service from Karim and Ahmed, who were always warm, helpful, and a lot of fun! We highly recommend this gem for an incredible experience in Egypt!

Quite frankly, it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Cairo. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very hospitable and deals with the guests. I felt at home from the kind treatment that I dealt with from the staff, especially from the internal supervision staff. I especially thank Miss Fatma, as she is one of the most helpful employees. I really want to visit this hotel again for this respectful and high hospitality

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel 6 notti con mezza pensione io, mio marito e mia figlia di 9 anni. Già da subito l'hotel e Tamer, che ci ha accolto (l'unico che parla italiano e inglese), ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Per quello che può offrire questa città l'hotel è abbastanza sopra la media. Buon cibo, pulizia e confort in generale all'interno dell'hotel. La zona è quello che è, molto povera e sporca, ma com'è d'altronde tutto il resto della città e di queste zone... Ma una volta dentro l'hotel è tutto ok per quanto riguarda pulizia e altri servizi. Wi fi gratuito. Saletta ristorante e una bellissima terrazza vista piramidi dove bere thè, fare colazione o cena. Il personale tutto cordialissimo e sempre disponibile. Organizzano anche gite ovunque sempre con guida e autista, anche se sono un po' più care rispetto a quelle trovate su TripAdvisor. Nel complesso il prezzo dell'hotel invece è stato molto buono considerando anche la mezza pensione. Se dovessi tornare al Cairo ci tornerei sicuramente. Grazie a tutti voi ☺️

Vehicles entering the gate of the hotel need to go through security checks before they can drive in. It feels very safe~ The environment of the hotel is very good. You can see the three pyramids from the balcony of the room. There is also a large swimming pool. Many people swim and play in the afternoon, which is very lively. But you can’t hear it when you close the window. The sound insulation effect is very good~ The bathroom is very spacious~ There are quite a lot of varieties of buffet dinner in the hotel, and the attitude of the waiters and chefs are very good~ I will choose to stay next time if I have a chance😊

It was an amazing experience the area so nice and quiet to stay in giza they picked up me from the airport for free , and the place and room was so fantastic and new furniture and comfortable for relaxing, Internet so fast and great , people are very helpful and friendly to make it easy for everything tours , guides, car , shopping, breakfast was very delicious, area very safe to walk and feel free i recommend this Guest House for all and i will back again 😊

In Giza, just opposite the Giza Pyramids, if you prefer the pyramids, this is a very good choice! You can see the pyramids by opening the window. The food in the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel tastes good and is reasonably priced; there are not many breakfast options, but the taste is okay, mainly depending on whether you are used to the local taste. The room facilities are not brand new, but they are clean. It is the first time to come to the pyramids. You can walk to the Giza Pyramids, saving the trouble of taking a taxi~ The hotel staff are really friendly and enthusiastic, which is in sharp contrast to the local people who are cheating outside! It is also walking distance from the new Egyptian Museum, but there is no exhibition in the new museum now, so you can walk over to see the appearance~ The shortcomings are not actually the problem of the hotel, but the surrounding environment is too messy... It’s hard to say... I don’t recommend you to walk outside too much... In addition, a small Carrefour is about 15 minutes’ walk, and the supermarket is still much better than the small shops opposite the hotel that charge prices at will! There is a quite modern small coffee shop opposite, although the price is a bit high, but it tastes good!

I charted this hotel on Google Maps trying to find an alignment between Cheops Pyramid, the front of the Sphynx and some rooftop or balcony. The answer seemed obviously The Pyramids View Inn. It was surprisingly (suspiciously) cheap, and didn’t look too fancy from the outside… But the photos inside were much better and the view was either Photoshopped or out of this world. The reviews were amazing, so I decided against staying in downtown Cairo and going to Giza, as close to the pyramids as I could be without actually sleeping inside one of them, Best travel decision, EVER! The staff was friendly since we started exchanging emails about airport transfers and tours. I was a bit scared of the arrival at the airport at 2am and the possibility that there could be no one waiting for me, but outside the airport after saying no to a dozen Taxi drivers inside, my driver was there with a sign with my name. Don’t feel disoriented with so many drivers from hotels with name looking neatly the same. The sign will have this hotel name as it is written here and your own name. It only got better from then on. Super friendly and honest staff, clean room, THAT AMAZING VIEW, both from the room and the rooftop where you can get à plentiful breakfast and some night drinks there (don’t expect alcohol in an Islamic republic) You can actually see the Pyramids Light and Show perfectly or even better from the hotel than on-site. Just pray you get it on your language while you are there. Everyday was in a different language while I was there. Book the tours at the hotel too. You can find many offers online, hardly a better driver and guide than the ones I got. Friendly, professional, helpful. I was alone in Egypt and they (tour and hotel staff) welcomed me as my new best friends. On the Gyza tour, you will be taken to some local Businesses with high quality papyrus and oil scents. Don’t feel forced to buy anything and expect some high prices there, It will be hard though not to spend as many money on souvenirs as on the rest of the trip. If you really don’t want to spend some big buck on excellent products just say no or skip visiting those two sites, but you will miss learning how to make a papyrus sheet. You can do three tours in two days (Cairo cultural sights, Ancient Egypt historical sites and Nile Dinner cruise). if you manage to go to the desert after flying for a day. There was another option with a sleepover on some Bedouin Oasis which I skipped. The hotel surrounding may feel intimidating when you arrive, with high police apparatus and the local salesperson that really hassle you. The best place to buy souvenirs is right next door to the hotel. Look for the window with the No Hassle sign. The owner is charming, educated, respectful of your word. and offers great prices. Travel light and keep room in your luggage to take home the stuff you buy here. Oh, and bless the room air conditioning.and keep hydrated at all times. I am not sure if I’ll ever be retur

It is a recently built hotel, and payment is made at the time of stay. The view is the best, and the hotel itself is very clean. It's all completely new. It is located right next to the ticket office to enter the Giza Pyramids. Many Koreans don't seem to know, but you can take pictures of the three pyramids and the Sphinx at the same time. Breakfast is not a buffet, but is simply eaten on the terrace. The room is clean, but the view from the room is closed. However, for this price, this level of cleanliness and view is quite reasonable.

Stayed for one night from December 31, 2022 to January 1, 2023. It took about 40 to 50 minutes by Uber from Cairo International Airport and cost about 200 EGP. It faces the main street, and if you look up a little you will see the hotel sign written in Japanese and English. When you open the entrance, you'll find a temple-like hallway that leads to the elevator, and I'm sure you'll notice a sign that says ``Welcome to Hassan'' in Japanese, which makes me feel at ease with the Japanese language overseas. When you arrive at the reception on the 3rd floor by elevator, you will find a newly renovated and modern interior. (When I stayed there, it had only been open for about six months.) The owner, Mohammed Hassan, is very fluent in Japanese and has worked as a tourist guide for Japanese people since 2005. Then, we checked in immediately and were given a tour of the room and an explanation of each area. The lobby, toilets, bathtub, rooftop, and rooms were all kept clean, and security measures were in place. We could see the impressive pyramids from our room, and it was a wonderful room. Also, since it was made to specifications for Japanese people, consideration was given to various aspects such as soundproofing, a large bathtub, and a spare tank for hot water shortages. You can see an even more impressive view of the pyramids from the rooftop, and the number of rooms is thought to be for several to dozens of groups, so you can enjoy the view to your heart's content without being disturbed. Breakfast was simple with bread, *grilled food, cheese, and ham, but I thought it was a good choice not to eat raw vegetables in Egypt, as they can cause stomach upset. On the day of check-in, I had developed diarrhea and chills, probably due to the raw vegetables I had eaten at the hotel in Luxor the day before, so I consulted the owner, who recommended me some medicine, and he arranged for me to heal by the next morning. I was able to. As mentioned above, I had an upset stomach, so being able to warm up in the bathtub was the best part. The owner is still working as a tourist guide, so we asked him to guide us the next day to the Giza Pyramids and the main tourist spots in Cairo, making for a very comprehensive tour. I went sightseeing on my first day in Egypt, such as Luxor, and had a difficult time, but this tour made me realize that having a guide is the best option when in Egypt. In addition to the owner, there is another staff member who can speak Japanese, so we highly recommend staying here when sightseeing in Egypt. It was a good stay. I actually travelled October of 2022, but the system wouldn’t let let select that. I travelled alone to Giza for a few days before joining a group in Luxor. This hotel was wonderful. I wanted a place near the pyramids and I even had a view of them from my bed! I contacted the hotel before my arrival to let them know that I have Celiac and would need gluten-free food. They assured me that they could accommodate me, and when I arrived they touched base with me to assure again. Breakfasts were included and they made sure I had lots to eat (while sitting on a terrace overlooking the pyramids 😍.) I booked a tour with them as well and had a great day, they alerted the restaurant that we went to for lunch about my gluten-free needs as well. For my private tour, they arranged a trip to the museum, a perfume place, a camel ride around the pyramids, visiting the pyramids and the great sphinx. It was fantastic! Just be forewarned, there is no elevator, but they will carry your bags. The rooms are modern, very clean, and have everything you need. I have recommended this hotel to several people already.

We traveled to this place with our infant with the only expectation of getting a pyramids view and considering the heat, flexibility to be very close to the pyramids at Giza. The location is one of the best in the vicinity, and gives a direct view of the Sphinx. We were welcomed by warm staff (Duniya) and greeted to the terrace wherein the pyramids and the sphinx were lit at night. It was a dusty evening, but the overall atmosphere was great. The incident that has set this stay apart from the others was a personal episode. The next day we chose to visit the major locations of Cairo side like the NMEC and Khan-al-Khalili, and some shopping. En route, my wife lost her phone and we were extremely stressed out in the evening, with all her contacts and memories on the phone. This is the instance when the hospitality of the hotel came into picture. Nearly everyone on the reception staff was aware of the situation, and they started going out of their way to help her. Be it calling the taxi at night and asking (more like instructing) to do whatever it takes to find the phone, to go at each and every place in Cairo and Giza we had been. Language is a constraint, and at each and every instant we wanted a person of trust to translate Arabic to English for us, and in addition, to provide guidance. Ashour at the reception constantly kept calling on my phone to ask updates. They even arranged for a late breakfast for us. To cut the story, we did FIND the phone and there was a happy story in the end. I have to place emphasis on the fact, that Cairo and Egypt functions on a different set of principles that involves a lot of over selling. If we can separate that emotion, and trust on such people who are really willing to help (they still might want to sell you a package ;)), sets the experience apart. They even treated our young kid with a friendship band. The restaurant food quality could be improved, but please remember, first and foremost its a tourist place with a very high footfall. I would like to visit Cairo again, and without a beat stay at this place. Thanks Duniya and Ashour for us to make our stay a very memorable one.

Don't be fooled by the dilapidated lobby and the small elevator. The room was very clean, our couple took two children and lived very well. All service staff are very enthusiastic. Similar to domestic hotel-style apartments, the price is close to the people, the supermarket downstairs is very convenient to get some food. You can see the pyramids on the rooftop. It's a bit cold at night during the Chinese New Year, so be sure to bring a windbreaker or a slightly thicker dress. But it's hot during the day. Hygienic: very clean Facilities: Room facilities are average but very clean. The lobby and elevator are too old like scenes in ghost movies. We have atayed here well over 15 times over the last 3 years. It is not the newest of most glamour 5 star hotel but certainly the best in so far as service, care, attention and the old style 5 star charm that Egyptian hospitality is best at. The hotel is NOT in a tourist area and is in the heart of Cairo so you get the real city with shops, kiosks and all the amenities within 2 or 3 minutes walk, The hotel breakfast is the best in Cairo and be sure to ask for Hela, she is incredible, The hotle that always fees like home for us - stay in real Cairo

Stayed 3 nights and the rooms were comfortable and the service was exceptional. I usually don't write reviews, but this property deserves it. The entire staff was very helpful and accommodating to ensure their guests were comfortable. Omar A\Azem deserves extra recognition. He works in the main restaurant and he really went above and beyond to make sure we were well served every day. We left our cell phone at the table after a meal and he was so courteous to run after us as we were entering the elevator to return it. Thank you Omar for your exceptional service. The Sheraton Cairo is successful because of employees like you.

This hotel was one of the accommodations where we stayed during our organized tour. We had 3 rooms 401, 404 and 405. The rooms and bathroom are spacious. The beds are fine, the neighborhood is quiet compared to the rest in Cairo. The rooms are very noisy, but we were outside the high season so there was relatively little noise. ATM is around the corner. The breakfast was reasonable. We are used to getting coffee and tea ourselves, but the staff will do that for you. Important: at least it is clean. So if you are looking for a hotel in this area, I would safely recommend this one. You will receive a WiFi code at the counter, which is valid for one day and then you have to get a new code at the counter.

Want a big bed room is gone. . But the room was clean and the front desk was good. It is very convenient to go to the Nile for 10 minutes. You can see the city on the terrace. There are also many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The location is good.
