Coffee is served free of charge at the reception downstairs. We managed to see fuji from the window of our room. The staff is very friendly, the onsen is clean and full of necessary care products. I would especially like to mention the breakfasts-they are simply excellent, especially the French bread toasts from the picture-just bliss! I would love to come back again"

"Reitoku Fuji Lakeside Villa — A Four-Day Dream with Mt. Fuji at Your Doorstep ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We just returned from a magical four-day stay at Reitoku Fuji Lakeside Villa, and I am still floating on cloud nine. If you are searching for a place where serenity, cleanliness, and genuine Japanese hospitality collide, stop looking — this is it. The Room & Amenities From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by how impeccably clean everything was. I mean spotless. The room itself is wonderfully spacious, giving us plenty of room to unwind after long days of exploring. But the real showstopper? The private hot bath. Soaking in steaming hot water while gazing out at Mt. Fuji from the comfort of our room was nothing short of therapeutic. And then there is the balcony. Waking up each morning to a full, unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji right from our private terrace felt like a privilege I never wanted to end. Whether it was sunrise painting the peak in soft pink or the mountain standing bold against a clear blue sky, the view alone made every yen worth it. The Host — Above and Beyond The owner is one of those rare people who makes you feel like family from day one. Warm, attentive, and endlessly kind, he ensured our stay was seamless. But what happened on our last day truly sealed this experience as unforgettable. While we were waiting for our bus back to Yokohama, he volunteered to drive us to Yamanakako Myojinyama Panoramadai. I cannot put into words how breathtaking that spot was — a sweeping panorama of Yamanaka Lake shimmering below with the majestic Mt. Fuji rising proudly in the background. It was the kind of view that makes you stop breathing for a second. That he took time out of his day to gift us that moment speaks volumes about the heart behind this villa. Final Thoughts Reitoku Fuji Lakeside Villa is not just accommodation — it is an experience. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and run by someone who genuinely cares about his guests. We will definitely be coming back, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for the ultimate Fuji getaway. Thank you for the memories, Reitoku. See you again soon."

"Hotel Mt Fuji has the best views of Lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji. It is located high up on a hill and looks down over the lake. Shuttle bus service to and from Yamamakako iriguchi was excellent. The staff in 7 eleven kindly called for me to be picked up on arrival and again on the second day of my stay. The breakfast was the best in the past 2  weeks of my trip. Japanese breakfast is so delicious. The omelette chef was such a perfectionist and each was made perfectly. Staff were particularly helpful and the public baths , there are 2 different locations ,are excellent, both very different. The hotel itself is very old and dated and could do with a renovation. However saying that, the room was very spacious and comfortable. I loved being able to open the window which had an insect screen and have fresh air. The only thing I did not like is that you could not wear your yukata to breakfast. No big deal really. I would highly recommend Hotel Mt Fuji."

"One thing that’s best - Mount Fuji view when the weather is good. It seemed like just right in front of you. No matter from the room or the 4th floor restaurant where we had our breakfast or even the open rooftop. Rooms was clean, top class in-room amenities provided, very good buffet breakfast with scenic view overlooking Mount Fuji and staffs were friendly and helpful. We got free parking in front of the hotel throughout our 2 nights stay. There were so much you could do while staying at this hotel. Whether you want to enjoy the beautiful Mount Fuji with coffee brew in your room, or get discounted price + early entry to the amusement park right beside the hotel, or enjoy the onsen hot pool next to the hotel. They even send us to the top of Fujiyama Tower complimentary and there you’ll have a stunning view of Mount Fuji and the amusement park, plus you’re able greet to the riders of the king of coaster when it pass by. Highly recommended!"

Excellent view both in the room and the 5th floor bath. It was great to take a bath and watch Fuji mountain early in the mornin on the 5th floor. On the 1st floor the self-served wine selection allows you to try various wines at budget price. Both breakfast and afternoon welcome drink were surprisingly nice. I would remain my choice if I visit again.

Pros: 1. The room was huge! 2. You get a full view of Mount Fuji right from the balcony window. 3. The staff were super friendly, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff members. 4. The hot springs on the fifth floor have both indoor and outdoor options. You can enjoy the views of Mount Fuji while you soak. 5. Both breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel were surprisingly delicious, and there was a good variety too. 6. They offer a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. Just make sure to look for the shuttle with three hotel names printed on it. You'll need to remember the hotel's English name to identify it correctly, otherwise, you might end up waiting a long time at the station. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Fuji!

The hotel's front desk staff were warm and courteous, making us feel right at home. Our room had a direct view of Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms by the lake, which was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was included and suited everyone's taste. We also enjoyed the hot spring on the 6th floor. Plus, the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle service to the station, saving us a lot of hassle – truly excellent! The driver was incredibly nice too. This trip will be unforgettable!

The hotel's location is excellent. It's right by the lake, and the red line bus stop is practically at the doorstep, making it super convenient for getting around. You can even see Mount Fuji from your room! Breakfast was incredibly varied and served by room, so it never felt crowded. The onsen (hot spring) was also great; for just 900 JPY, you can enjoy it for free! The water was very hot though, so I couldn't stay in for too long.

Excellent hotel with a view of Lake Kawaguchiko. The room is quite spacious, and the staff is very welcoming. The hotel has an onsen, which is essentially a sauna and a hot spring pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of cycling. We booked a room with breakfast and dinner included, both served buffet style. For those not used to eating fish, rice, and other Japanese cuisine in the morning, there are also European croissants, jams, and coffee available. For dinner, the buffet features unlimited crab, but you'll have to contend with the Japanese guests for the crab claws – it seemed to me they choose this hotel specifically for that reason! The cable car is just 30 meters from the hotel, which will take you up a small mountain with a great view of Mount Fuji. It's also quite close to the bus station, about a 10-12 minute walk.

We spent our anniversary with my girlfriend in Kaneyamaen, and our experience was above and beyond. Starting with the shuttle option provided by the hotel from Mishima station, which also took us to Oshino hakkai, what a gorgeous place, before ending up at the hotel. We were really satisfied of our driver who shared facts about Yamanashi prefecture and Fuji. Our check-in process was also a really nice experience. From the moment we arrived we felt the hospitality of the hotel service crew. They escorted us to our room and helped with our luggage. Staying at a Sanri-Comfort Western Room, we had access to 2 lounges, where in one of them we had access to many kind of amazing wine from Yamanashi, among other tasty snacks. We choose our yukata and headed for matcha tasting. This is located in another part of the building which also gives us a peak at the wonderful garden. The matcha and snack we received helped us settle in with the calm garden view. Then came dinner. My god, the dinner was above and beyond. Neither of us had an 8 course dinner before with such a perfect service and absolutely amazing food. Hats of to the restaurant and service crew. Truly impressed. We decided to walk of the calories in the hotels beautiful garden at night. The illumination creates a really romantic experience. After this, we attended the Taiko drum show, which is organized by the hotel crew. First time for me and I can say it definitely made our experience even more special. Fantastic work. Then the star of the show. The open-air bath on the balcony. The sight of Mt. Fuji early morning from the bath, was a magical experience which we'll never forget. The buffet breakfast provides a great selection of food and drinks, rest assured we left very pleased. All in all, this was an extraordinary stay for us. Nothing but max points. Wish we'll have the chance to visit again.

The room was quite spacious, but it definitely felt a bit dated. The service and dining were just average; there's definitely room for improvement in both those areas! The views of Mount Fuji were beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see it two mornings in a row during the summer. That's about it.
