"I plan to stay two nights near Mount Fuji. I filtered accommodations by positive reviews and found this newly opened lodge. Almost all reviews were good, with not a single negative comment, and when I saw it was run by a Chinese owner, I booked it immediately.
The location is super convenient, just a three to five-minute walk from the station. The entire lodge is brand new and spotless, with lots of Chinese calligraphy hanging inside, which made it feel very welcoming. The dining area is quite spacious, equipped with an ice maker, microwave, and instant noodles for purchase. A 7-Eleven is about a ten-minute walk away.
The scenery is incredible. I just checked in tonight and I'm really looking forward to seeing Mount Fuji's snowscape tomorrow morning. I'll share photos then. The lighting design throughout the lodge is also very thoughtful, creating a great ambiance.
The owner is from Zhejiang, and he's incredibly reliable. When traveling abroad, it's common to lose signal on your phone, so you can only communicate via messages. The owner's replies were quick and his information was accurate, which is truly rare when staying away from home.
The room is very spacious and immaculately clean, and the furniture like tables and chairs is still new. But I have to emphasize this! In all my time in Japan, this is the first time I've encountered such a spacious bathroom; I absolutely love it! The kettle, and all bathroom amenities are fully provided, making for a comfortable stay.
The lodge also offers vehicle rentals: electric scooters and electric bikes for 2000 yen a day, and regular bicycles for 1000 yen a day, which is excellent value for money! Most outside rentals require scanning QR codes for registration, which is a complicated process and hard to manage. Here, you can rent directly at the front desk, which saves so much hassle. This is a huge plus!
This was a self-funded stay, with no cooperation or advertising fees; these are my genuine, heartfelt feelings. If you're a Chinese friend reading this, please give it a like! "Generally speaking, I enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Convenient with its location close to the station. With nice hot spring on the top of the building. I experienced the M6 earthquake during my stay at night. The staff are quickly came to check the hot spring floor if all the guests are alright. The had blocked the lifts and open the staircase door to go down. The Public announcement through the speaker in room told the guests no need to panic…
For housekeeping, they need to improve as we found our room did not close the room door after made up the room. HSKP card still left at the entrance and seems waiting for room inspection?? But we strongly concern our belongings and safety.
The English level of the front desk team are so so. Few are below.

"The hotel has an onsite outdoor and indoor Onsen. Our room is 25sq m and spacious. The layout of the room is separated into sleeping area and entrance with basic amenities. This hotel is supposed to be able to view the beautiful Mr Fuji but because it has been raining and cloudy the past few days, we were not able to see Mt Fuji from this hotel but our room faces the great ocean and that was good. The breakfast spread was great with a wide spread of many varieties. I was hoping for a late night snack of Hot ramen soup as with many Japanese hotels with Onsen but sadly this hotel don’t provide this service."

The only thing I did not like is that you could not wear your yukata to breakfast. No big deal really. I would highly recommend Hotel Mt Fuji."

"We spent our anniversary with my girlfriend in Kaneyamaen, and our experience was above and beyond. Starting with the shuttle option provided by the hotel from Mishima station, which also took us to Oshino hakkai, what a gorgeous place, before ending up at the hotel. We were really satisfied of our driver who shared facts about Yamanashi prefecture and Fuji.
Our check-in process was also a really nice experience. From the moment we arrived we felt the hospitality of the hotel service crew. They escorted us to our room and helped with our luggage. Staying at a Sanri-Comfort Western Room, we had access to 2 lounges, where in one of them we had access to many kind of amazing wine from Yamanashi, among other tasty snacks. We choose our yukata and headed for matcha tasting. This is located in another part of the building which also gives us a peak at the wonderful garden. The matcha and snack we received helped us settle in with the calm garden view. Then came dinner. My god, the dinner was above and beyond. Neither of us had an 8 course dinner before with such a perfect service and absolutely amazing food. Hats of to the restaurant and service crew. Truly impressed.
We decided to walk of the calories in the hotels beautiful garden at night. The illumination creates a really romantic experience.
After this, we attended the Taiko drum show, which is organized by the hotel crew. First time for me and I can say it definitely made our experience even more special. Fantastic work.
Then the star of the show. The open-air bath on the balcony. The sight of Mt. Fuji early morning from the bath, was a magical experience which we'll never forget.
The buffet breakfast provides a great selection of food and drinks, rest assured we left very pleased.
All in all, this was an extraordinary stay for us. Nothing but max points. Wish we'll have the chance to visit again."

RuoganxiongThe room with the view of Mount Fuji was amazing; just looking at it made me feel so much more peaceful. The hotel offered complimentary snacks and drinks, and the dinner was also very good. The service was thoughtful and attentive. They provide a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. When you need a pickup, you can go to the nearby tourist information center and ask staff to call the hotel. After confirming your booking name and nationality, a car will be sent over very quickly.
P.S. Make sure to keep your key safe! There's a 10,000 JPY fine if you lose it at checkout.

brayden_foongIt was definitely an enjoyable and worthy experience of traditional ryokan with tatami and futon with the best view of Mt. Fuji from the room window! The hotel itself overlooks parts of Mt. Fuji with Lake Kawaguchiko, and we even added on dinner and breakfast during the stay! They are simply one of the best meals during the trips in Tokyo! The onsen is another bonus to enjoy while seeing the view of Mt Fuji, even though it is public hot spring which might be a culture shock. Definitely worth to try it out again to enjoy the traditional Japan vibes around Lake Kawaguchiko.

2. You get a full view of Mount Fuji right from the balcony window.
3. The staff were super friendly, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff members.
4. The hot springs on the fifth floor have both indoor and outdoor options. You can enjoy the views of Mount Fuji while you soak.
5. Both breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel were surprisingly delicious, and there was a good variety too.
6. They offer a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. Just make sure to look for the shuttle with three hotel names printed on it. You'll need to remember the hotel's English name to identify it correctly, otherwise, you might end up waiting a long time at the station.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Fuji!

The hotel's front desk staff were warm and courteous, making us feel right at home. Our room had a direct view of Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms by the lake, which was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was included and suited everyone's taste. We also enjoyed the hot spring on the 6th floor. Plus, the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle service to the station, saving us a lot of hassle – truly excellent! The driver was incredibly nice too. This trip will be unforgettable!

lrd11The hotel's location is excellent. It's right by the lake, and the red line bus stop is practically at the doorstep, making it super convenient for getting around. You can even see Mount Fuji from your room! Breakfast was incredibly varied and served by room, so it never felt crowded. The onsen (hot spring) was also great; for just 900 JPY, you can enjoy it for free! The water was very hot though, so I couldn't stay in for too long.

Excellent hotel with a view of Lake Kawaguchiko. The room is quite spacious, and the staff is very welcoming. The hotel has an onsen, which is essentially a sauna and a hot spring pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of cycling. We booked a room with breakfast and dinner included, both served buffet style. For those not used to eating fish, rice, and other Japanese cuisine in the morning, there are also European croissants, jams, and coffee available. For dinner, the buffet features unlimited crab, but you'll have to contend with the Japanese guests for the crab claws – it seemed to me they choose this hotel specifically for that reason! The cable car is just 30 meters from the hotel, which will take you up a small mountain with a great view of Mount Fuji. It's also quite close to the bus station, about a 10-12 minute walk.
