"The room I booked had an absolutely beautiful view — I loved it very much. It was spacious, and the hotel itself is large and impressive. The onsen was also excellent and very enjoyable.
However, the main drawback was the dinner and breakfast. The meals did not match the promotional photos. For example, the advertisement showed crab legs, but there were none during my stay. The sashimi selection was also quite limited. Considering that this is the Toyama area by the sea, I was surprised that there was not much seafood available. There was not even salmon sashimi, which was disappointing.
If the hotel could improve and expand the food selection, it would be perfect. It truly has the potential to be the best hotel in Unazuki Onsen."

洗い場は、中に4個外に2個ありました。
大浴場は、ホテルに着いてからと寝る前、朝起きてからと3回入りました。肌はツルツルになりました。
ベッドのマットは、程良い硬さでぐっすり寝れました。
朝ごはんは、ゆっくり食べれたのと、お味噌汁と白米が美味しかったです。もちろん、おかずも美味しく頂きました。
サービスの梅ジュースが人気で、すぐ無くなり、
飲めなかったのが、残念です。
夜ご飯は、魚民があるし、スーパーもあるので困りませんでした。
また、利用したいと思いました。

"Came here to relax with the natural hot spring that Toyama is famous for. The waters here are dark brown like soya sauce.
The public bath has several baths including one that is outdoor. There are ample lockers, dressing tables and shower berths.
The laundry room is inside the public bath area. They are separate machines from the dryer. While the washing machines are free, it costs money to use the dryer. The shower cubicle in the hotel room has no shower rail to hang laundry to dry.
The double bed room has a private cypress wood bath tub. It felt good to soak in onsen water in the morning before breakfast. It’s deep enough for someone tall to sit in.
A short walk away is the tram stop. A free tram ride coupon can be obtained from the front desk for international tourists."

"Our family of four stayed in a Hollywood Twin Room.
It's brand new and very clean.
Even though we were on the top floor, we didn't have to wait long for the elevator.
With a single bed, a double bed, and a sofa bed, all four of us slept comfortably. The sofa bed was a little firm, so it might be nice to have two futons.
The public bath's changing room is small, and the sink is only for two people, so it can get a bit crowded. However, it was nice to have Rifa hair dryers in both the bath and the guest rooms.
For breakfast, the only thing unique to Toyama was the shredded kelp, but overall the seasoning was good and we were satisfied.
When traveling, we tend to eat rich meals for both lunch and dinner, so it's nice to have a breakfast like this so we don't overeat!
The breakfast staff were very friendly and even gave us some sightseeing information."

"The location is a bit out of the way, but it wasn't a problem since we were driving. Although it's an older-style inn, it was clean and tidy. There were also quite a few locals staying there. They offered snack sharing in the afternoon and evening. The most pleasant surprise was the incredibly rich breakfast. I would definitely choose this inn again next time."

"Nice Japanese breakfast. Strategic location to get around Gokayama and Shirakawa. In front of the hotel is the biggest Gassho style house in Japan that has a long history of being owned by samurais and where the emporia family had visited many times and is considered a cultural heritage of Japan.. I would go back to this hotel because of its location."

"Kim Taro has a pick-up station in the Toyama Electric Railway parking lot next to the Shinkansen Unayue Hot Spring Station. Note that it is not the Shinkansen parking hotel to pick up and drop off. The time is 2:3:4 pm, ten minutes drive, I took a taxi to 3,600 yen, it was early, The staff was very enthusiastic and said that the room could be checked in after the final inspection. "Very good, the price is less than 900 mao/person, you can consider visiting it again in summer or autumn, and take a ride on the train by the way.
The hotel was built 100 years ago, but the interior renovation and maintenance are very good. The standard rooms are also relatively large in hot spring hotels, with many electrical sockets and a reasonable layout. There are three large public baths and two private baths, which are spacious and well-equipped for bathing. For dinner, there is Kamameshi soy milk shabu-shabu, seasonal buri and local soba noodles, which are quite unique; the breakfast buffet has a lot of vegetables, which really saved my life, and they also provide freshly ground coffee!
There is a free bus to Unazuki Onsen Station, but reservations must be made in advance."

"In general hotel in japan is very small, and this is no exceptions. The hotel is very clean, amenity is good, with self service laundry, public bath in house and free coffee machine in the lobby.
The location wise is okay, within five mins walking distance from train station, and close to convenience store, supermarket and restaurants.
The breakfast is quite decent, better than what I expected with this price. Hot water is strong enough."

The location is a bit out of the way, but it wasn't a problem since we were driving. Although it's an older-style inn, it was clean and tidy. There were also quite a few locals staying there. The sea of clouds is right at the door, and the natural scenery is beautiful. The shop was opened in 1957. After all, the age is there. There is a musty smell in the room, and the hygiene of the hot spring is average. The dinner is average, the portion is not large, and the rice and miso soup can be refilled. The breakfast is very good with many choices. It is a 15-minute walk from Murodo Station. It is not far to Thunderbird House. The bed in the six-person room is still very big. It is only a few degrees at night on the mountain, and there is no heating. It is very cold!!!

A magical traditional Japanese inn. You have to wear slippers when entering the inn. The elderly are very enthusiastic and the whole village is very welcoming. I haven't experienced that kind of simplicity for a long time. There are singing and dancing performances, very delicious Sichuan fish, and a call to eat breakfast early. It feels like home.

Guest UserThe staff were all very polite, kind, and generally wonderful. The amenities were great, and the room was clean. The hot spring was also very pleasant. If I had to point out one thing, it would be the dressing room in the hot spring. When I sat down to dry my hair, my eyes were drawn to the gap between the sink and the counter below, and I noticed some dust had accumulated there. The corners of the walls also had some dust. Since everything else was so clean, it was a bit disappointing. I would definitely like to stay here again.

The hotel said they had a car to pick up the hotel...but the only problem was that I couldn't get through by phone...I almost had to walk from Tateyama Station to the hotel. Fortunately, a hotel shuttle bus came...otherwise, I would have been exhausted walking up the mountain to the hotel...I suggest that the hotel put the shuttle service time information online so that guests can easily understand it. The hotel was very good. There was a domestic service staff in the restaurant who explained everything in Chinese, which was really considerate.
