Hot Springs Hotels in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan

The staff was incredible - they went above and beyond and actually drove us to the gora station when we missed the bus. The scenery around is beautiful, as is the main building. The public onsen in the hotel left much to be desired - if possible, book the room with a private one because it’s basically the same thing (the outside one) and you’d have it all to yourself. We weren’t fans of the food (neither diner nor breakfast) - the dinner was too much work with shabu shabu, the breakfast didn’t have coffee. But maybe some would like the food, it’s subjective. But I’d give the hotel an A* purely because of how incredible the staff were!

It was a short stay, 1 night, but it is a great location close to Fujisawa Station which can go to Kamakura or Enoshima easily. The hotel has free welcome drinks.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. We opted for the private hot spring, which was easy to book at the front desk for JPY 2200. Breakfast was Japanese style, with dishes prepared in advance based on room number, and the dining experience was excellent. The price was reasonable for the time of year, and the location is super convenient, just an 8-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station. It's perfect for first-time visitors who aren't familiar with the area, and you can easily walk to dinner spots near the station without having to hike up hills. The only downside was that the front desk staff member was a bit aloof. He'd tilt his head and say 'thank you for your patronage' while looking elsewhere, which felt a bit dismissive. I hope they can improve on that!

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, offering a relaxing environment. The amenities provided met all our needs and contributed to a smooth experience. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others seeking a quality accommodation.

Great place to stay in tranquil beautiful surroundings and if you're lucky a view of Mt Fuji. Was easy to get to (bus J from Odawara station (expected 50 minutes but took over an hour due to traffic jams near ropeway late morning time).. Short easy 5 minute walk from bus stop to hotel (ignore other reviews). We had a Japanese style room for two. Plenty of space and great view of Fuji from the room. The bathrooms are clean and perfectly fine but a bit dated. However not a problem. The onsen experience felt very traditional and really enjoyed it. I'm vegetarian and there were quite a few options in the buffet (breakfast and dinner) which was appreciated . When we left we used the great hotel shuttle to drop us at Minami Onsenso where we picked up the T bus to take us back to Odawara train station (about 50 minutes around 10am). The staff at hotel were super helpful and overall it was a great, relaxing stay.

Lovely hotel in the prime location. We had the best time here with nice onsen experience and can see Odawara castle right from the rooftop. The staffs were very friendly, welcoming and could speak English properly. Highly recommended if you want convenience and onsen experience. Also recommend to borrow their Yukata for only 100 yen. It will be great to do photoshoot.

I booked this last minute, and with hotel prices being so high everywhere, I was really happy to get a spacious room with breakfast included! The public bath is a bit on the small side, so everyone needs to be considerate and take turns, but being able to stretch out in the bath really helps relieve fatigue. The staff were very attentive; they immediately helped me when I was fumbling at the reception desk. The breakfast was also great; you could fry your own eggs to your preferred doneness, and there were many side dishes to go with rice. The miso soup felt homemade, just like what you'd have at home, which was very comforting in the morning. I didn't get to try the bread, but my companion said it wasn't dry and tasted good. I would definitely like to stay here again.

A great ryokan, staying in Yuwahara for the first time, including breakfast and dinner, good Japanese food, hot spring ♨️ is also great, and friends who pass by also love it.

I stayed here for sightseeing in Hakone and to visit Yunessun. It's a tranquil ryokan with a small number of guests, so I could enjoy a peaceful stay. The room was spacious compared to a business hotel, very clean, and allowed for a relaxing time. I had already planned to visit an onsen, so the lack of a private bath wasn't an issue. Since there are few guest rooms, the public bath was almost like a private rental at certain times. Even otherwise, it was never crowded, and I didn't have to wait in line. They were accommodating with requests like luggage storage before and after check-in/out. I enjoyed the Yunessun pass and breakfast included. There's no restaurant inside the ryokan, so you'll need to buy food elsewhere. Although it seems to be part of the Yunessun group, there's no shuttle bus. There's a steep slope from the ryokan to the bus stop and to Yunessun, where there's a convenience store, so walking up and down was quite challenging. Furthermore, some parts of the 'sidewalk' weren't properly maintained, and there were few streetlights, so I was almost hit by a car at night, which was scary. I had to use my phone's flashlight to get back to the ryokan (though this isn't an issue the ryokan alone can fix). Location-wise, it's convenient for taking a bus to Owakudani and Hakone Shrine, so I'd recommend it. I encountered other guests only a handful of times, which made me feel like I had the place to myself – I really liked this ryokan. Thank you.

Arrived Haneda airport late. Took taxi to the hotel. ¥4400. Reasonable. Hotel service is excellent, realised I had claustrophobic and arranged a higher floor room for me. I stayed in 5 stars hotel before and they did not notice my request.  So Dormy Inn did provide a good service. The Natural spa on the upper floor is very good. Also the evening free noodle from 9:30pm. Highly recommend.  離羽田機場很近，坐計程車只要¥4400。 早上在川崎去品川很方便。天然溫泉很有日本風味，早餐很地道。性價比高。知道我有密室幽閉症，特別安排房間。之前住五星級酒店，也沒有留意我的要求。所以很讚這所酒店。我來日本也經常住這連鎖酒店Dormy Inn.  很推薦👍
