Hotel near Xishuangbanna Gasa International Airport/Railway Station,Jinghong
"The hotel environment is fantastic, with many hot spring pools and lots of trees, plus a variety of small animals. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and we could even project movies. There's also a small private courtyard outside for a personal hot spring bath, which was amazing. The front desk staff were very attentive and detailed in their service, which was excellent. However, there was a minor flaw: there was no toilet paper holder in the restroom. The toilet paper was placed next to the sink outside the door, meaning you had to stand up to reach it, which was quite awkward."

Hotels in Yunnan
The hotel is a collection of high-end selected hotels under Accor in France, and each MGallery has a unique story. The hotel is located in the Dongfengyun art town composed of vineyards, lavender fields and a large number of post-modern buildings. The hotel has built a post-modern building complex composed of red bricks and smooth curves, with many guest rooms, 3 restaurants and a lobby bar, a 400-square-meter indoor conference room, and a 1,300-square-meter outdoor swimming pool. The beautiful lake shore and the rolling mountains form a unique and dreamy blending scene.

"The hotel's exterior environment is quite good, and the service response is very prompt. For example, having a car shuttle to scenic spots felt really nice. But!! Basic hygiene must be done properly, right?! Otherwise, everything else is just superficial and showy, adding no value whatsoever! It only gives an impression of being flashy but impractical, a real drawback. But what's most frustrating is the cleanliness of the room. We stayed for 2 nights, and on both the first and second nights, the bathroom drain was clogged, leading to flooding. The second night was particularly bad; the sewage was truly disgusting. For a suite costing over 3000 a night, this situation is truly speechless. This is Yunnan, not… We carefully examined it and believe there are two issues: 1. Inadequate daily cleaning, not thoroughly clearing hair and other debris left by the previous guests; 2. A design flaw in the hotel room. The room outside the bathroom, which has a bathtub, surprisingly lacks a floor drain. If it gets wet, there's no way for the water to drain. I initially thought the service was good, but when I checked out and reported the issue, there was no indication of any willingness to improve, just an apology. So, indeed, the service was just mediocre. I'm a local and have stayed in many hotels. I had hoped to bring my family here for a good time and relaxation, but I didn't expect this hotel to have such hygiene problems. I sincerely hope Yunnan can have truly world-class international hotels, and I hope for improvements!"

Hotel near Shuhe Old Town,Lijiang
Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa,  is located adjacent to ShuHe Ancient Town with uninterrupted views to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It is ten minutes from downtown Lijiang and DaYan Ancient Town. This Low-rise designer resort inspired by local NaXi ethnic minority architecture and blended with contemporary Chinese interiors is set amidet gardens featuring canals and a central lake. Ideal for escapes filled with culture, history and stunning surroundings, the resort offers easy access to many activities and is a gateway to the Shangri-la Region. Hotel also offers unique spa treatments (Operated by the third party) that replicate the spirit, soul and cultural traditions of ancient times.

"I used to think InterContinental had great service, but Pullman surprisingly surpassed it. I was torn between Jinmao and Pullman this time, and I'm so glad I chose Pullman. It was unexpectedly good, with every request met. The male front desk staff who attended to me was especially patient and understanding, really taking care of guests. I experienced two downpours in Lijiang, and thanks to the Pullman front desk staff, I confidently extended my stay. (The hotel is truly lucky to have such an attendant; he deserves recognition.) P.S.: There's one thing, though. The prices on the Trip.com platform fluctuate wildly. Hotel prices naturally rise during the summer, but the same room would be 1200+ today and then 2500+ the next. This led me to book another standard room at a higher price, only for the deluxe room I was staying in to drop in price later. I don't understand this pricing strategy, which made it impossible to simply extend my stay. As a decades-long customer, I suggest you really pay attention to this, as some guests, like me, dislike changing rooms, and this really dampens the mood. It practically forces customers to switch hotels. I hope the platform takes this seriously. In the current economic climate, considering things from the consumer's perspective is crucial for long-term success. Finally, I wish the hotel continued success, and that all staff continue to be so well-trained. Highly recommended."

No. 3 of Hot Spring Hotels in Kunming
Haily Binya Resort & SPA (Kunming Haili Binyan Dujia Jiudian) is situated at the intersection of Guangfu Road and Guannan Avenue. This Kunming hotel features Thai-style architecture and design. Guestrooms are equipped with fridges, Internet and mini-bars and some suites feature balconies and jacuzzis.A restaurant with a Southeast Asian-style layout is located within the hotel and serves a range of cuisines including Cantonese. A large banquet hall and a number of conference rooms are also located on-site.This hotel has a hydrotherapy theme and features a hydrotherapy center, a spa club and a swimming pool.

"I spent a long time choosing a hotel for our trip to Kunming because I wanted somewhere that would keep the kids entertained, but also be suitable for celebrating our wedding anniversary and a birthday. I chose this place primarily for the bathtub in this room type and its convenient location. However, once we arrived, I was truly impressed by how comprehensive the amenities are. From meals to entertainment, and catering to both children and adults, everything is taken care of. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive. The biggest surprise was the handwritten birthday card – in this digital age, a handwritten card really warms the heart. We booked two nights, and we didn't even leave the hotel for one of them; we spent the entire day there with the kids and never got bored. My children are already talking about coming back again."

Hotel near Gaozhuang/Starlight Night Market,Jinghong
The Mekong River Jing Land Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Jinghong will find that the Mekong River Jing Land Hotel is a fantastic accommodation choice. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 8km from Xishuangbanna Railway Station and 9km from Xishuangbanna Gasa International Airport. Seeing Jinghong's sights from this hotel is easy with Mengbabalanaxi Dance Show, Jinghong Great Golden Tower Temple and Jiangbian Night Market all close by. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Jinghong hotel features parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"Gaozhuang truly transforms from day to night; its real charm only emerges in the evening! The melodious hulusi, the graceful Fannuo dance, the endless neon lights, the exotic Dai electronic music, and the bustling Ganbai Street. Since I'm not a fan of guesthouses, I always choose the Mekong Jinglan Hotel for my stays. I visited Gaozhuang two years ago and also stayed at Jinglan. The facilities, location, views, and service were all top-notch. So, for this trip to Gaozhuang, Jinglan was again my top choice! The room interiors, bed frames, and even the exterior walls are all well-maintained, indicating that the hotel is well-managed and invests in its upkeep, creating a positive cycle. This time, I'm staying in Gaozhuang for 4 days. I initially booked a two-day River View Executive Twin Room. At check-in, the lovely Miss Xiaoju at the front desk warmly welcomed me and helped arrange a high-floor room as requested. When I learned about the in-house suites on higher floors (fewer than 5 available, with better views, and not sold on platforms), Xiaoju proactively offered a key card for me to view them. After some discussion, Xiaoju offered a very favorable price within her authority. Consequently, I decided to book the in-house suite for another two days. A huge thank you to Xiaoju for her help! My vacation wasn't long enough this time to stay for the Dai New Year Water Splashing Festival. I'll definitely come back when I have more time to experience the three-day carnival!"

Hotel near Huquan Ecological Park/Honghe Nativeland,Mile
The Oness Resort Hotel is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Mile, having been recently opened in 2023. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Mile Railway Station located approximately 9km away and Kunming Changshui International Airport roughly 93km away. Keeping busy is easy, with Qian Wang Pavilion, Huquan Ecological Park and Mile Cultural and Sports Center all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Mile hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"During the Chinese New Year, most hotels significantly inflate their prices, but this hotel's rates didn't seem to surge too drastically in comparison. The staff here are all quite enthusiastic. We booked two rooms, and one of them wasn't ready when we checked in (this might have been a slip-up due to the overwhelming number of guests during CNY). However, the manager personally came to apologize and explain the situation. A nice touch is that the hotel provides complimentary fruit and milk daily. The location is also very convenient; there's a delicious braised chicken rice noodle snack shop right downstairs. It's a great spot for families with kids."

"We chose Mile over Jianshui for a few days' relaxation primarily because we discovered the newly opened Holiday Inn there. Our five-day stay at the Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations. First off, this is a proper hotel, not one of those trendy simplified versions. What I mean is that its design and concept are genuinely geared towards providing guests with top-notch accommodation and service. The hotel boasts numerous public facilities: a bright and spacious lobby, an elegant little bar and lounge area, a kids' play corner, a starlit swimming pool, two hot spring pools with different temperatures, and a self-service laundry room. And then there's the restaurant – I absolutely have to mention it! The chef prepares a super rich breakfast every day, always with new surprises. I'm guessing the head chef is a master from Guangdong, though he told me he's from Yunnan. As for the rooms, they are large, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed, sheets, and duvet are all high-quality. What truly reflects the hotel's quality are the in-room furnishings: the Holiday Inn has chosen truly comfortable chairs and sofas, the kind you can relax in while reading or listening to music. The most valuable asset of this hotel, however, is its entire staff. Every single person is friendly and polite, genuinely caring for each guest. A big thank you to Xiao Ji at the front desk, Nancy at the bar, KoKo at the restaurant, and the ever-present Gavin and Jennifer, along with their entire team. The hotel's location is opposite Honghe Water Village. We walked to Dahou Park every day for a stroll, visited nearby coffee shops, tried various restaurants, and after dinner, headed to Honghe Water Village to enjoy the bustling atmosphere. We are very much looking forward to staying at this hotel again next time. Highly recommend this excellent place."

"When traveling with my girlfriend, the most important thing is the hotel, followed by the food. I've been to Mile many times, and honestly, the hotels there are generally quite good. But this time, the Mountain Retreat was a truly delightful surprise. The service was on par with a five-star international hotel. From the welcome gift to the hotel's amenities, everything made for a wonderful stay. The lobby design is a wonderful blend of Chinese and Western elements. It's spacious, and the hand-drip coffee is excellent! The hot spring on the first floor has both public and private pools, and importantly, it's very well-ventilated—not stuffy at all! Since I drove there, I parked right next to the hotel, making it convenient to go out and explore. What surprised me most was the body lotion provided by the hotel; it smelled amazing! I only used half a bottle, but I took the rest home to find the same product online, haha. It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth the price. In my opinion, a truly good value experience is what I call value for money! I didn't take pictures of the room because we arrived too late and slept in a mess. You can see other people's pictures. Clean and luxurious!"

"Choosing this hillside guesthouse with a stunning view was the best decision for my trip to Lijiang! The room's balcony offered an incredible panoramic view of the entire ancient town, perfect for photos. The owners are incredibly warm and easygoing; they even organized a dinner gathering where all the guests sat together, chatting and drinking. It felt so welcoming, like a family dinner at a friend's house – no awkwardness at all, just a warm and healing atmosphere. The owner patiently explained the best routes for exploring the ancient town, and they were always available for any needs. The place is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Even traveling solo, I never felt lonely. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang and genuinely recommend it to everyone!"

If you book early, you can also get a free horseback riding experience. The fee includes three meals a day, you can swim, catch fish in the stream, watch the sunrise and sea of clouds, taste coffee and pick coffee beans. It is definitely a treasure manor. It was New Year's Eve, and we prepared a self-service stir-fry, which tasted good. The self-service beef hot pot was also great, with many varieties, delicious beef, and self-service drinks. This guesthouse in Dali is absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, clean, and tidy with no overlooked corners. The bedding was incredibly soft, skin-friendly, and fresh, making for a super comfortable stay. The whole house is equipped with smart home features, which are simple and convenient to use – a real blessing for anyone who loves ease. The owner was warm and thoughtful, patiently answering all our questions and even recommending some local, lesser-known activities, which was incredibly heartwarming. The location is also convenient for getting around. The overall experience was top-notch. If you're coming to Dali, choosing this place is a no-brainer. I genuinely recommend it to all my friends!

Honestly, I rarely post reviews—but this time I really felt like I had to, because this hotel was the highlight of my family trip to Yunnan. From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking. The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations. The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away. What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

The biggest surprise on my Lijiang trip was staying at Baiyuexiang. The most memorable part of the whole journey was Thirteen, the celebrity dog at the inn! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by this Border Collie with heterochromia. She's incredibly gentle and well-behaved, never jumping or barking, and always super polite and kind to people. When you walk past her, she'll subtly nudge your hand, asking for a pet. Once she's had enough, she'll quietly lie down by your feet, never being clingy or bothersome – her sense of boundaries is fantastic. I heard Thirteen was a stray before, but now she's the inn's exclusive little manager. She's smart and well-behaved, walking with guests in the courtyard and playing with toys. Even just watching her spaced out is incredibly stress-relieving and therapeutic. The inn itself is also top-notch: Tucked away in an alley next to the South Gate of the old town, it's super convenient for exploring and dining, yet the courtyard itself is tranquil and serene. The vintage-style courtyard, paired with lush greenery, creates a fantastic photo-op atmosphere. The rooms are clean and tidy, and many room types come with private hot spring pools. Soaking in a hot spring while watching the sunset over the snowy mountains in the evening is incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. The butler service is thoughtful and attentive, from luggage assistance upon check-in and check-out to well-arranged breakfasts and afternoon teas – attention to detail is everywhere. Overall, it's a pet-friendly guesthouse. Besides the well-behaved Thirteen, there are other small animals, so friends who love animals definitely need to check this place out. Staying here isn't just about accommodation; it's a warm feeling like coming home. Gentle Thirteen added so much warmth to our trip. I'll definitely choose Baiyuexiang again next time I'm in Lijiang.

This was my first time visiting Shangri-La, and this hotel truly stood out. The service was warm and welcoming, and they even had parking available. The staff helped us with our luggage to our room, which was a nice touch. The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained, with excellent facilities and a peaceful atmosphere. Our room had a unique charm, and the heating and hot water were plentiful. The young owner was also incredibly hospitable; I even saw him sharing champagne with some guests during their meal – it truly felt like a harmonious place. The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful, and in the morning, you can catch the stunning 'Golden Mountain' sunrise over Shika Snow Mountain. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

Staying at this luxurious wilderness hotel at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was the most unexpectedly wonderful and healing experience of our Lijiang trip. As soon as we opened the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in our room, the entire Jade Dragon Snow Mountain came into full view. The clouds drifted across the peaks, a sight both gentle and majestic. The hotel boasts a sprawling lawn, with winding wooden boardwalks leading towards the distant mountains. Lambs roamed freely, and every photo we took of the mountain scenery looked like it belonged in a magazine – truly an ideal wilderness retreat. Even more impressive than the breathtaking scenery was the incredibly thoughtful service that made us feel right at home. I accidentally spilled milk tea and stained the front desk, but the staff cleaned it up meticulously without a word of complaint. When we returned in heavy rain, a dedicated staff member walked us all the way to our car under an umbrella and back to the hotel. When my child suffered from altitude sickness, oxygen tanks were delivered multiple times throughout the night, available instantly whenever we called. I even left my facial cleanser behind in a rush when checking out, and the hotel proactively shipped it to our next hotel free of charge. With the romantic setting of the snowy mountain and the vast lawn, combined with such delicate and warm hospitality, there was no sense of unfamiliar distance. It truly felt like having a gentle home at the foot of the snow-capped mountain.
