My stay at the Hyakumangoku Onsen Hotel was a unique blend of modern Japanese style and traditional onsen experience. The hotel's architecture and interior design were sleek and contemporary, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. However, I was disappointed to find that the hot spring was not available for couple usage, which was a major draw for me. Despite being renovated in 2021, some fixtures and soft furnishings showed signs of wear and tear, which detracted from the overall experience. On the plus side, the hotel's location was convenient for visiting Shanghai Disney Land and Shanghai Village, which offered a range of international brands for shopping. Overall, I would recommend the Hyakumangoku Onsen Hotel for its modern take on traditional Japanese hospitality, but with the caveat that some areas may need further attention to detail.

The hotel is very clean overall. The front desk and back-office staff are very nice! The hotel is built in a parking lot, so it may not be easy to find at first. It is very close to the ancient city, about a five-minute walk. The area feels like an undeveloped old city, full of life, and I experienced another side of Shanghai. The only regret is that the floor heating in the Jiletang is not turned on, and my feet will feel cold in winter.

I wanted to find a hotel with hot springs. I saw this one on Ctrip. It is in Chuansha Ancient Town and is quite unique. We were the only one who reserved the hot springs that night. Although it is not big, the experience is OK. It is very refreshing to take a bath after get off work. The next day, you can go to Chuansha Ancient Town to eat snacks or go shopping in Chuansha Bailian. Breakfast is one person per person, and a souvenir was given when checking out. It is very considerate. The only drawback is that the shower head in the room is too small, and the anti-slip mat is also moldy. I hope the store can return one.

This Royal Court Heting is the third-ranked hot spring hotel in Shanghai on Ctrip. I came here with the intention of giving it a try. The transportation is very convenient. I arrived quickly following the navigation. It is quiet in a bustling city. There is a snack street at the door. Walking over is the Central Plaza. It is very lively outside, but the hotel is very quiet. There is no noise. The brother and sister at the front desk are very enthusiastic. When you need to wait in line to check in, the sister gave me two bags of feeding. We fed the koi and rabbits at the door. There are three little rabbits, cute and scrambling to eat delicious food. A cat also came next to us, as if to greet us. Touch it. When checking in, the brother gave us a free upgrade to the duplex. I was so happy. This hotel has butler service. I added WeChat. It’s a bit regrettable for dinner. The Japanese restaurant is closed during the Chinese New Year. I would like to try this authentic Japanese food very late. We ordered takeout, which was quite convenient. There was a healing movie at 8pm, and everyone sat together to watch it. The next day, there was a set meal for breakfast, but we didn't eat it. There was a sutra copying activity at 10am, which lasted about half an hour. Check-out time was 12pm. Overall, the hotel furnishings were relatively new, the sanitary environment was also very good, there was no odor in the room, and the shampoo, shower gel and conditioner were also very good. Bring your family to stay for a while during holidays and enjoy a moment of tranquility.

Next to Disney, about 15 minutes by car, it's easier to go to Disney in the morning. I came at night, there is a small road without street lights, it's a bit difficult to drive. The room is a little surprise, the baby is very happy to sleep upstairs, and the floor heating is also very comfortable. You need to tell the housekeeper about the hot spring in the yard, and the housekeeper can open the main valve and then drain the water. It's very comfortable to soak and then go to sleep. The breakfast is very ordinary, you can choose between small wontons and seafood noodles, and the small wontons taste good. Others include orange juice, milk, boiled eggs, croissants, milk can be heated, and the croissants are not heated. It was agreed to be sent to Disney at 8:30, but it broke the appointment. It was only at 8:50 that they said the car was broken, which was speechless.

Far from the city. Very calm place. Not a good place for international travellers. Nothing nearby.

This is a very good B&B. It only takes 40 minutes to drive from Lianyang. Some friends took the subway and then took a taxi from the Wildlife Park Station and Disney Station in 10 minutes. As soon as we entered the B&B, the children were attracted by the moon lights in the north courtyard. When we turned into the inner courtyard, we were shocked by the spacious courtyard. Everyone ran into the big lawn and had fun. After checking in, the enthusiastic store manager and housekeeper arranged barbecue, board games, karaoke, automatic mahjong machines for us. They also prepared big swings, trampolines, hammocks, small slides, paddling pools, footballs, handmade small gifts for the children... In short, we were busy all afternoon. In the evening, there was also self-service tea brewing around the stove and open-air movies. The children also set up tents and studied the night sky with the store's astronomical telescopes (because it was a bit cloudy, we didn't see anything, but the children liked it very much). When we checked in at night, the housekeeper also gave us hot milk, which was really nice. The guest rooms are also very comfortable, each with a different style. The girls from several families chose the largest twin room on the top floor. The single mother fell in love with a girlish room on the second floor, and the elderly were arranged to the quiet and elegant Chinese courtyard room on the first floor. Other couples were also very happy to choose rooms according to their preferences and were very satisfied. The next morning, the store gave us a Chinese breakfast. Because everyone was very tired from playing the day before, I would like to thank the housekeeper and aunt for serving us in different time periods, especially the housekeeper went to buy fresh ingredients nearby early in the morning. It was really delicious. It was a pity that it rained early the next morning, otherwise the children would have rolled on the lawn, haha. Special discovery: There are many rice fields around the homestay, which are almost mature. The golden rice ears look like the coast under the sunset at a glance. It’s a pity that there was a little rain and I couldn’t get close to take big pictures. Facilities: entertainment rooms, dining, outdoor activities, guest room configuration (especially the five-second hot water) are all great, very much like the Resort Hotel in the scenic area. The children like the soft and comfortable big bed, and the big swing in the courtyard. The elderly are also conquered by the hot spring in the small courtyard room and have been full of praise. Hygiene: clean, the aunt has always been very diligent, busy cleaning, and the things that the naughty children threw away were picked up in a blink of an eye. Environment: a quiet small village, the guest room building is surrounded by woods, and the courtyard is relatively independent, so there is no need to worry about disturbing the neighbors. Service: very thoughtful, willing to accept opinions, and communication is very smooth.
