"My stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Chongqing was fantastic! I absolutely have to give it a great review! The hotel's location is super convenient, right in Jiefangbei, offering amazing views from Chongqing's prime spot – the night views of Yuzhong are absolutely stunning. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the soundproofing was good too, ensuring a good night's sleep. A special shout-out to the front desk service; check-in was efficient and warm, and they even proactively offered tips on local attractions and dining. The breakfast had a wide variety, and the Chongqing noodles were authentic and delicious. Downstairs, there's a snack street which is perfect for a stroll or an evening jog, and Hongyadong is also very close by. Overall, it offers great value for money, and the service was prompt and responsive. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chongqing and highly recommend it to any friends visiting!"

"Traveling with three friends to Fairy Mountain, we chose two twin rooms at Shiyili and had a fantastic experience! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to the Tourist Center, making it easy to reach all the attractions. In the evenings, it was great to go out and explore the local food scene. The rooms were clean and tidy, and both beds were huge. With two rooms for the four of us, there was plenty of space, even for our luggage. The bedding was comfortable, so we slept wonderfully and had energy for our daytime activities. The hotel offers free luggage storage; after checking out, we left our bags at the front desk and enjoyed our last half-day exploring without any hassle. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, recommending great restaurants and off-the-beaten-path spots, which saved us a lot of trouble. The price was reasonable, and splitting the cost meant it didn't break the bank for any of us. As soon as we walked in, we were stunned by the private courtyard. The expansive river view combined with the elegant garden created an incredible ambiance. We booked a four-bedroom villa, and the space was super spacious. The underfloor heating throughout the house was so thoughtful in winter; it was warm and cozy, not cold at all. Amenities like the pool table, Marshall speaker, and deep soaking tub doubled the fun for our friends' gathering. We just didn't want to leave!
The location is also fantastic, right on Changjiang Riverside Road in Yuzhong District. It's only a few minutes' walk to Xiaoshizi subway station, making it super convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. At night, you can even enjoy the river and city night views from the terrace – so therapeutic.
We planned our own itinerary, which gave us a lot of freedom, and the cleanliness was exceptionally well-done. Both the rooms and common areas were spotless, with attention to every detail.

"Let's start with the areas that need improvement, and there are quite a few.
1. The hotel doesn't have its own dedicated parking, and you have to pay for parking. That's fine, but the main issue is that if there's no exclusive parking, and they mention a butler service, the butler never contacted us to inform us about the parking location. Even a text message or other channel to inform us would have been helpful.
2. Only one bathrobe per person is provided; extra ones incur an additional charge.
3. The staff at the hot springs also had a poor attitude. Perhaps work is too stressful for them, as they didn't smile at all and seemed a bit impatient when asked questions.
4. The design of the sink in the room definitely has some bugs; the main door was difficult to open.
5. The included breakfast was very mediocre, with no milk or soy milk available.
6. I suggest offering some complimentary fruit upon arrival.
7. The hot spring water was too hot, practically impossible to soak in. All the pools were the same temperature, so we could only sit by the side and dip our legs.

"Came back late last night and the lobby lights were off, but the front desk staff saw we wanted to play billiards and specially turned on the lights for us for a bit, thank you! We had a great stay for two days. The room curtains block out light really well, and even with just the bathroom light on, it's not pitch black. The floor mat is super long and can cover the entire bathroom floor. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Chongqing, haha, Jiulongpo is so much fun! 🤓🤓"

"The room was really nice, with a huge bed. The private hot spring filled up quickly with thermal water. Xiao Zhang at the front desk was very welcoming and check-in was smooth, with great service. After a late-night soak, I called for room service at midnight and the bathrobes were delivered promptly. The lamb hot pot in the set meal had a generous amount of lamb and offal. The breakfast buffet was much more abundant than standard, and the pea and ground pork noodles were especially delicious. Nanquan hot spring is right across from the hotel, so the location is excellent."

BBoboboYFacilities: The hotel facilities are excellent, and the rooms are well-equipped, primarily focusing on hot springs. The water quality is very good, and you can adjust the hot spring temperature yourself. You can soak 24 hours a day, and privacy is also good. After soaking, you can also enjoy a massage or spa.
Hygiene: Everything was very clean. The villa renovation was well done.
Environment: The overall hotel environment is great, with duplex rooms. The surrounding area has complete amenities and is a small commercial district, so delivery services are very convenient. The only slight drawback is the soundproofing; you can hear people moving up and down the stairs next door.
Service: The service is excellent; they are very responsive and always help guests with any issues. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

GGuest UserStaying at Bolian Resort truly felt luxurious.
This was my first time experiencing a high end resort in China, and I chose Bolian over other options in the area, including Banyan Tree Hot Springs, with very high expectations. While it is not perfect, I’m glad to say that it does meet the standards of a luxury resort. The level of service and attention to detail, even with the language barrier, was comparable to what I’ve experienced at other top tier hotels like Park Hyatt.
First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the staff for fulfilling my personal request to have berries and chocolate prepared in my room. What really touched me was the towel art and flower petal decorations on the bed, thoughtfully arranged to mark a very personal occasion, which was celebrating my mental health recovery. Seeing the Mandarin character for “happy” placed on the bed felt very endearing. It was a small gesture, but one that felt genuinely kind and thoughtful.
Other aspects of the service were just as impressive. While I was away enjoying the Bolian hot spring spa, the staff prepared my room for the evening by lighting all the mini candles, mopping the floor, and creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for my return. That level of attention to detail really stood out.
That said, I did notice a small oversight. The tea filter I had used for my pu’er tea was still left in the sink, which suggested that housekeeping may have been rushing, possibly knowing I would be returning sooner than expected. It was minor, but noticeable in an otherwise polished experience.
The hot spring amenities, both in the room and around the resort, were amazing. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. I also appreciated how attentive the staff were at night, especially when guests were walking along the hot spring paths in the dark. The unexpected room upgrade was a lovely surprise as well, so thank you for that.
Overall, I had a very pleasant and restorative stay.
However, one thing that really affected my experience was the breakfast.
The breakfast was honestly disappointing for a resort of this standard. The options were limited, the presentation was not great, and the overall quality fell short of expectations. I have uploaded photos with this review in the hope that management can improve this area. To be frank, breakfast took away from what was otherwise a wonderful stay. Being served ONE CHICKEN FOOT as part of the spread was highly amusing, but not in a good way. I have had much better Chongqing noodles and dim sum at local eateries for a fraction of the price. For a meal priced at around 200 yuan, it felt hard to justify......This is where people often say not to eat at five star hotels because the better food is usually found on the streets. It was disappointing that Bolian’s breakfast ended up reinforcing this stereotype...
In summary, Bolian Resort shines when it comes to service, atmosphere, attentiveness, and hot spring facilities. With a serious improvement to the breakfast, it could easily become a truly excellent luxury experience.

GGuest UserFrom the very 1st interaction with the front desk at check-in, Ms Pim Pim and Ms.Zhen were truly magnificent! Spoke little English but with translating app they really helped us for smooth check-in.
All the staff are really friendly and will accommodate foreigners very well.
The hotel is attached to hot springs thus the location is best to relax and enjoy the 40++ various hot pools after hectic Chongqing tours.
We highly recommend to atleast stay minimum 2 nights.

GGuest UserIt's now called Wyndham. I booked a family room; the room and bathroom were spacious, though the facilities looked a bit dated. The hallway smelled strongly of smoke. You need to contact the front desk for disposable slippers. Breakfast was average, with some Chongqing specialties, and not crowded. Hot spring tickets were purchased separately. (The hotel's superior twin room included two hot spring tickets, but breakfast was not included; the price was cheaper than on the platform.)

GGuest UserThe hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which made access a bit inconvenient. Right outside, there's a small stream where children can play in the water and catch crabs, which they absolutely loved. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety of options. For lunch and dinner, we dined at Tianxing Town, right opposite the hotel. Most restaurants there served similar fare. However, I'd strongly advise against a place called 'Nongjia Cai' (Farmer's Dishes). Their ventilation was terrible, making it very smoky and unpleasant to eat. On top of that, they charged a 4 RMB seating fee even for our 3-year-old, a charge that none of the other restaurants in the area imposed.

YYushiIn the forest park, 30 minutes drive from the city center, the surrounding environment is quite beautiful, and it is quiet to sleep at night. The hotel facilities and services are good, and it is worth staying. You can hike to the Gorge Viewing Platform, go down to the canyon and then come up for about two hours.

The hot spring bath worked great, much better than the one at Banyan Tree next door. The breakfast was decent, and our butler was very attentive. My family really enjoyed their stay, and we would definitely consider coming back.

The check-in at the front desk was convenient and fast, and the price was high.  The room is clean, except for no pool, everything else is fine, but the ordinary room is not equipped with bathrobes, which is unreasonable! The morning is relatively good. There are many small bubble pools in the open air, 39-42 degrees, the size and temperature are very suitable, the best thing is that there is a swimming pool with a suitable temperature, which is great 👏. There are also salt steaming and sweat steaming rooms on the second floor. This is quite good. There are not many people who receive performance reception.
