"The Hostel is clean and offers everything you might need. There is free water, coffee and tea. They also offer multiple things to rent for free including charging adapters and bicycles. You get access to a locker in a good size. The bathrooms were sparkling clean and the common areas are very comfortable and cozy too. The only negative thing was that the male bathrooms and the main common area is on the third floor of the Hostel and there's no elevator. Another thing I appreciate is the free washing machine and dryer although the dryer took three hours to thoroughly dry my clothes. The Location is also amazing. Close to the train station and the park with beautiful cherry blossoms and a good view of Mount Fuji. I can also recommend the veggie cafe mazina that's very close to the Hostel. Their Fresh Sandwich was a delight."

"Is Toda Port a place that has nothing to do with people who do not fish at an old fishing port? There are only old Showa retro shops that do not know if the shops around are vacant or not. There is a fashionable cafe, Tagore, which has been renovated from an old folk house in such a place. When I enter the store, there is a foreigner, and it is like a foreign country somewhere. Check-in is a modern method of reading QR code on your smartphone and entering customer information. The room is just a renovation of an old folk house, the furniture is antique, the floor is boarded, and when you walk, you can hear a giggling sound. It is irresistible for those who like retro. The view from the room shows you a 々 view in the morning, noon, and evening. So even if you look at the view from the room as Bo, you can kill time. The staff were also very friendly 々 and it was the best family trip. It is an inn that I want to stay again."

"At first, I was worried about the facial recognition system and the user experience at the self-service check-in after reading the reviews. Once we arrived, the location was easy to find and check-in was very simple. There was a sticker at the door with the booking person's name, the bed number, and a code. Just press the code to enter. It's less than 15 minutes from Atami Station, and the walk from the station to the hotel is downhill. There's a supermarket and convenience store in between. It's a short walk from Atami Nanayu and Kinomiya Shrine. The restrooms and bathrooms were clean, with separate bathrooms for men and women. It's very close to Lake Inasa and you can get into the hiking trail immediately. Check-in was at night, so I had to go up the dark slope without street lights, but it is recommended for those who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle and rest their bodies."

It's a very affordable and decent option for a short stay in Shizuoka. The rooms are spacious enough and it's comfortable to sort out your stuff inside. The staff is nice and helpful, I could even check in at 15 instead of 16, which was pleasant. The facilities and amenities are all quite good. The hotel is conveniently located close to Shizuoka station, so it's not a problem to walk to or from the station even carrying luggage

Excellent hotel. Beautiful, clean, traditional. The onsen was beautiful with a view of their garden. The water was heated perfectly with immaculately clean water. All amenities were offered when you stepped out into the changing room, ear buds, lotion, hair perfume, shampoo and conditioner. As you exit to your room there are two massage chairs to enjoy. The room we stayed in was perfect, It had a view of the bay, a big balcony, and three separate rooms. I was traveling with my son and this afforded me a private room to change my clothes and be separated while we slept. Freshly pressed kimonos were provided for the Onsen or/and to attend breakfast in. Now I'll talk about the highlight.! The breakfast buffet and dinner were included in the very reasonable price. The breakfast was extensive with fish, eggs, yogurt, homemade delicious jams, salads, fresh fruit, natto, sausages, rolls, bread, pastries, a coffee machine with choice of lattes, cappuccino, etc, a juice machine, fresh milk from famous Tanna dairy, and more! It was amazing! Dinner was also delicious, changing every night with selections such as broiled fish set, fried chicken set, steak set, all were seasoned well and perfectly cooked. All came with soup, rice, main entree and dessert. The staff were welcoming, kind and caring, friendly. The manager even sent me a special note about a piece of art I was curious about. Highly, highly recommend this Ryokan. I never wanted to leave. It's just outside of Atami, in the hills, beautiful location. Go, relax, nurture yourself, I did 😊🥰

The quality is low for the price. At first glance the room looks clean, but the facilities look cheap. It's a mystery why the bedside lights only light up red, blue and green. Who would use them? It's not a hot spring, it's just a large public bath or sento. It's also inconvenient that there is no shower room in the room. The Sichuan restaurant on the first floor is not authentic at all and looks really cheap. The location is great.
