Location: close to Susukino Station, just a few steps away, and not far from Odori Station and Sapporo Station either, so it’s good.
Cleanliness: normal Japan hostel standard. It’s clean even though a lot of people stayed. but you can’t compare it to a normal hotel
staff: nothing special, they just do their job, I guess
facilities: the common area is GOLD✨, has a lot of workspace, is clean, and also has the charger. It’s also well decorate! it’s also have elevator!
Summary: It's a good option, and compared to the price, it's nice. will definitely go back!
Good to know: some rooms have a lot of people, like 30 beds, but are still silent, and the privacy is not bad. The hostel also has a medium side locker inside the personal bed area

This hostel is on the pricier side, and the shower water temperature is inconsistent. It's really inconvenient having to walk through the kitchen and common area, past everyone, just to get to the bathroom. Many residents seem to live here permanently, with their belongings scattered all over the floor. It's not a very welcoming place for travelers just staying a short while.

The three of us stayed in a quad room with bunk beds. It was a bit small, but the beds were large and very comfortable, similar to what you'd find in a YHA, making it great for families and friends traveling together. The common areas were a real highlight; I enjoyed sitting there alone for a while when I couldn't sleep, sipping tea or coffee – it was lovely. Excellent value for money, perfect for budget-conscious travelers.
I used a five-day pass for my trip to Shiretoko Five Lakes, Abashiri, and Kushiro-Obihiro in Hokkaido. Obihiro is just over a two-hour drive from Sapporo, offering easy access to Kushiro Marsh and convenient transportation to Sapporo and Noboribetsu. The convenience of a single-person stay was the key reason I chose Obihiro. One minor complaint was the mixed-gender bunk beds on the first floor, and the lack of signage for the restrooms and showers was a major drawback. Breakfast was served in the lobby downstairs, and there were very affordable izakayas nearby. Jr. Obihiro Station is about a 700-meter walk away, and there's a bus to Koufuku Station right in front of the station. I love the Japanese countryside; every spot offers unique scenery and delicious food.
Located right outside 18-jo Station, it's very convenient for subway users and those who have business at Hokkaido University. The staff were very friendly and the explanations were easy to understand.
The building is clean, and the obvious places are generally well-cleaned. You can only go up and down by stairs, so it's probably best not to bring a big suitcase.
The room looks cramped at first glance, but the bed frame is more spacious than other hostels and capsule hotels.
The bunk beds are sturdy and don't creak when you move. There is a little space at the head and foot of the bed, so you can put a backpack or a small suitcase inside the space and it's neat and tidy.
The only amenities provided are bath towels, toothbrushes and other items are available for a fee, but you need to bring your own slippers and loungewear. There are valuables lockers, and you can fit a normal-sized backpack (not full to the brim), so you have some peace of mind. However, the lock (combination padlock) is unlocked at first, so you can find out other people's numbers if you want to. This is a small security hole, so I hope the management will consider doing something about it.
The shower space on the second floor is clean, but the bath mat (plastic slat type) made a sound like it would break when I stepped on it, so I moved with a bit of nervousness (although I think it could also be a weight issue...). Also, the faucet on the left side of the second floor bathroom was wobbly.
I got home late at night, and there were people chatting happily in the free space on the second floor. However, their voices generally don't reach the rooms on the third floor, so you can get a good night's rest. The bedroom was quiet.
The first floor is a free space during the day and night, but it seems they open a cafe in the morning, so I would have liked to have eaten there if I had had the time.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay for the price. I would like to use it again next time.

My friend and I stayed together, and the room was considerably more spacious than expected. As is typical for many Japanese hotels, the bathroom is smaller than those in Korean hotels, but it was not a major inconvenience. The bar on the first floor sells drinks at reasonable prices, and all the staff were very friendly. Accessibility to the center of Susukino is also good.
I really experienced the style of a Japanese homestay here, especially the children are very excited about tatami. The room is very spacious, there is also a loft, you can sleep on it and below, and you can make your own bed and fold the quilt. Although it is not a hotel, the floor, carpet, bathroom, mattress, quilt... are very clean. There is heating in the house, although it looks small, but the energy is very big.
The store is a short distance from Hot Spring Street, about 40 minutes walk, snowy road in winter, it is not recommended to walk, you can do bus to arrive, the station is at the door, there is a timetable in the corridor on the first floor for reference.
When returning at night, the boss is very intimate to pick up the car, you can call in advance or agree on the time and place in advance.
The boss is very very nice, very friendly, and the owner's mother (a kind old grandmother) who lives next to the hotel is also very good. We arrived early in the morning. The grandmother did not let us check in at 3 pm like other hotels, but kept saying that the weather was cold and let me go directly to the room. In the afternoon, she personally sent us to Hot Spring Street. I was very touched. 👍👍👍
The next morning, because there was no suitable bus, the boss took the initiative to send us to the station, which made us very touched 👍
In short, if you are tired of staying in a hotel, want to experience Japanese life and feel the warmth of ”home”, you can come here. highly recommended
There was an issue with my capsule hotel booking, and to top it off, Sapporo experienced heavy snowfall, causing the JR airport line to shut down. By the time I finally made it to the city center, the subway and buses had stopped running. Luckily, I spontaneously booked this place, and it's within walking distance of Sapporo JR Station. Given the price, I didn't have high expectations. I just pulled the curtain, put in my earplugs, and slept soundly until morning. It's a decent option for a solo traveler needing a last-minute overnight stay.
Excellent! It has a very hostel-like vibe with comfortable common areas where I could chat with other travelers in the evenings. The staff were also very friendly, engaging in conversations and recommending great attractions and restaurants. This hostel is a must-stay for travelers who enjoy interacting with others.
Convenient place to ski Rusutsu while not staying at the resort (and not paying resort prices). Shuttle service was run smoothly and even accommodated me when i screwed it up 1 time. Nothing but good things to say about the staff, and all amenity rooms were stocked and kept tidy. Shower room and adjacent corridor smelled a bit off but the rest of the place was fine.
I would stay here again if i were committed to skiing Rusutsu, didnt rent a car, and didnt want to pay resort prices.

YYEN SINThe house design is beautiful, but the location is a bit far unless you have a car. The guesthouse serves food, and you can mingle with other guests. You can also play with the cats, though be careful with the three-legged one. The room is clean and comfortable.
SScudLimCozy Inn is superb, can easily be reached by bus or by car. Plenty of parking spaces. Room is big and clean. Close to Aeon and Daiso. Walkable to the canal if you are not driving. Check in uses machine and strictly only after 3pm, so do not come early. Overall, I highly recommend!

GGuest UserIt was pouring rain when I arrived, and still drizzling the next morning, so I decided to head back to Sapporo. I had initially planned to visit the Magic Terrace. This hostel is truly excellent; it even has a kitchen, and everything was spotless. The only drawback is that there isn't much to explore in the small town itself. It seems to be located near a ski resort, but I visited in September, so that wasn't relevant to my trip.
GGuest UserIncredible value for money stay in the heart of Sapporo. I have never stayed in a capsule hotel before which made me hesitant to book this hotel, however I am so glad that I chose it. The location is unbeatable, in the very heart of Sapporo, in Susukino district. There is an endless amount of izakaya and restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. The onsen and sauna was the best I have visited in Japan so far. I have heard the sauna is famous across Japan, and I can see why. It is kept impeccably clean and the entire facility is well maintained. The amenities such as unlimited towels, toothbrushes, razors and hair products are a great touch too. The capsule hotel itself was great, like the rest of the property, spotless clean and well kept. Despite being a capsule hotel, I heard no snoring for disturbance during the night. The breakfast was delicious and excellent value. Upon checkout, I requested to book again due to my great experience.

CChester Wong CHThe hotel's location is great, about a 10-minute walk from Susukino subway station. The front desk is on the 8th floor. There's a strange smell in the elevator and on the 8th floor near the reception, possibly because guests have to take off their shoes, which might contribute to an unpleasant odor. Every night before bed, I enjoyed a hot spring bath, which was absolutely wonderful! Thumbs up!
GGuest UserI highly recommend staying over at this place. It's quaint little accommodation - a cross between a tiny house and a home stay. The bed and pyjamas were comfortable. The shower had a nice water pressure. The toaster was a nice touch to heat up my breakfast. But the real reason for staying here was the fantastic 'yunkai' in the morning. Right on the balcony. You can view it, then go back to bed afterwards.
Only one big challenge - if u do not drive or are not a confident and competent driver, it would be a challenge to get here. Because the location is quite isolated. I highly recommend buying your dinner first and arriving before it's dark, as it's really pitch black after sunset. If you are not used to such driving, do take note of this.
But otherwise do come and stay at this new accommodation.
GGuest UserThe biggest plus for this hotel is definitely its location in Susukino. It's only about a 3-minute walk to the Nikka Whisky billboard, Cocono Susukino, and the subway station. Plus, there are plenty of dining and shopping options right downstairs, which is super convenient.
The hotel lobby is quite stylish with a projector screen, perfect for enjoying a meal or just relaxing. The overall decor has an industrial and camping-inspired vibe.
The room itself is a bit on the small side, but the bed is incredibly soft. One minor issue is that the room door uses a thin curtain, which doesn't do much for soundproofing, so earplugs are recommended if you're a light sleeper. The bathroom facilities are great, complete with a hairdryer and basic toiletries.
I just wish they had slightly larger room options. The hotel is in the tallest building right next to the Ferris wheel in the photo.
