Super near to Taipei main station exit. Family Mart is just downstairs next to the building. Mitsukoshi department store is just next door. Convenient to travel to other places via train or bus. Can buy tickets to further places like Taichung, Yilan etc too. Room feels abit small and stuffy, price is good though. Bathroom is very small but usable. Staff is kind to allow us to deposit our luggage on the 1st day we arrived, early in the morning.

I had a fantastic stay. The room was spacious and offered a lovely view from the 13th floor. The hotel's location is just a 5-minute walk to the metro, making it super convenient for exploring the area. There are also two handy convenience stores nearby, which made grabbing snacks and essentials a breeze. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were attentive. Highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and prime location!

The hotel is not located close to the city, but is close to the high-speed rail station. The facilities in the room are new and the same as the photos on the official website. There are many storage spaces and plugs, which are quite suitable for long-term guests. It is equipped with an IH stove, an International brand steam oven, and a washing machine. However, after searching through all the cupboards, pots, pans, and laundry detergent, there is no distribution. I want to heat up a takeaway meal but I don’t know how to serve it. It’s a pity to waste these facilities. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, the water volume is strong and super comfortable, the temperature-controlled faucet does not fluctuate in temperature, which is very considerate, and the drainage hole is also designed in a long strip shape so that no water accumulates. There are two pillows, one soft and one hard, for each person. The underground parking lot is bright and spacious. The cleanliness could be improved a bit. There is dust in the corners of the table and behind the TV. There are some stains on the bath towels, but it does not affect the use. The breakfast is indeed not very varied. The meal time is Sunday and Monday. For two consecutive days, I could clearly feel that there were some missing items in the meal preparation. The coffee machine provided milk one day and not the other day. However, meal boxes are provided for passengers who are unable to come down for meals. Breakfast has been divided into three periods, but the dining seats obviously cannot accommodate all the passengers. On Sunday, there were many people waiting in line for meals. But overall, you can still see the care put into it, and I will still recommend it to friends or stay here again.

Hotel and building was a little dated. Our room was overly basic in a state or repair. There was a terrible mould smell in the room which we did not like. The bathroom was nice and clean though. The location was pretty good too. Not too far from the station, close to the night market, and close to subways and bus routes. Definitely wouldn’t stay again and would look at paying a little more for a nicer hotel.

So clean, Very Very Non smoking room. What i loved in my stay is that i dont smell tracw of smoke. But no slippers, The aircon is function well. Our stay is peaceful and quiet. 7/11,bus and train station is nearby. We will come back here!

The location of the hotel is excellent as it was outside Ximending Shopping district hence it was not so crowded. However, XMD is just a 5 minutes walk away from the hotel and the Ximen MRT entrance is just in front of the hotel. To top it off, there is a Hello Kitty 7-11 right below the hotel!

Hotel is quite good and clean. But there is not more than just a room. No gym, no breakfast, no pool… Fortunately there are a lot of street kitchens nearby. The non Japanese rooms have a bit cold atmosphere.

Palmer hotel's location is very central, near taroko mall, Taichung park, Taichung train station and miyahahara ice cream shop. Palmer hotel offers buffet breakfast and also has a self laundry - coin operated same floor with the buffet. Room is big, 2 elevators working and quick checkin and check-out process. 1. 🕰️ Was asked to be seated while the reception prepared my check in (note that check in is at 5pm, I arrived around 315pm so I asked if they could let me check in slightly earlier). After about 45 mins, I went to check on the status and the reception has clearly forgotten about my check in. 2. 🪳Probably the most turned off thing of the stay. Opened the door and was greeted by a cockroach and a rubbish tissue (see photo). Live cockroach… 3. 🧹 No daily housekeeping. No bottled water provided. No hand soap so just got to make do with shower gel. The good part about this hotel is probably the location and the size of the room is pretty decent.

The location is very convenient. The room given to us was very small though for its price, I can’t really complain. It just lacked basic items like a table for instance. There was no space to put our luggages or important things like phones and wallets. If you’re not that over-particular then this location and price is for you.

The hotel is centrally located in Da'an District along very good shopping destinations and excellent restaurants. It is a short bus ride or train ride to Taipei 101 and other tourist destinations. The train station is right at its doorstep and you will not even get wet even if it rains. Convenience stores and a a fully stocked supermarket are within 50 to 100 meters of the hotel. If you love Japanese food, especially ramen -- some of the best and rated brands are less than 5-minute walks from the hotel. You can have whole day snacks from the pantry area and their breakfast is simple but free and really filling. I would recommend this hotel to both family travellers and business travellers.

Situated at 3 MRT stations away from Taipei Main Station, it is great location for exploring Taipei City. We got a good deal so the price is reasonable. Renovations were in progress the place looks a bit unkept and the room feels somewhat dusty. The room interior/fitting are very old but functional. The Jacuzzi us not working as hence only serve as a bath tube. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast (only tried once) is at a separate venue. It is cafe with limited menu but reasonable quality. Overall, not delighted/impressed but nothing really to complain about.

Excellent hostel overall. The capsules are a novel idea. Good privacy and the shared bathrooms are very clean. Everything is very clean however maybe the mattresses need removing from the capsule beds and the dust removed every now and again. Very dusty. Also be careful there are mosquitoes around.

The location is good and it is very close to public transit. They have bath pools especially for men and women separately which are not open 24 hours. The room is small enough to open your suitcase. Good price and it is good for budget travellers.

Overall the location is very good, very close to the train station, but there is a lot of room for improvement: 1. The service awareness of the front desk staff needs to be improved. When checking in, the efficiency is not good. There are people in the assigned room. After the room card is opened, there are engineering staff working next to the room, and the room is not ready at all. good. You need to go back to the lobby to change rooms, which is troublesome and troublesome. This is the lowest mistake in the hotel industry. 2. All the tea bags and snacks in the so-called pantry on the floor have been emptied for a long time and no one has replenished them (please see the attached picture). This is another low-level mistake and shows poor management by the management. 3. The design of the bathroom in the room is even more incomprehensible. There is no waterproof glue on the glass in the bathroom (please see the attached picture). This causes the entire bathroom to be filled with water when taking a shower. The most outrageous thing is that the toilet in the bathroom is not installed properly at all. It will shake when used without being fixed with muddy water or glass glue, which is quite disturbing. It is recommended that the hotel comprehensively review the room equipment and provide training for front desk staff. The current situation is indeed not up to standard for receiving international tourists.

LIKED: 1. Budget friendly 2. Laundry room availability DISLIKED: 1. Size of the room 2. Smell of the room (smelled damp, probably from the carpeted floor) 3. No bidet in the bathroom 4. Shampoo and shower gel were in the form of small sachets, barely enough for 1 person to use 5. Electrical sockets were behind the beds, you'd need to move the beds to use them. Otherwise there's only 1 socket next to the table and another one in the bathroom next to the toilet 6. Breakfast selection was very limited and in a basement that is relatively dark. There's no hot water dispenser there so if you want to drink tea, you either have to prepare hot water in your room or from the dispenser on the first floor.

The environment decoration is not bad. The fixed base of the blackout curtain on the window of the room is loose. There is no projection light beside the bed. It is too dark at night. Everything else is great.

I am so amazed at the cleanliness of the bathroom ! The breakfast buffet is an authentic ********* experience. I enjoy every moment of it.

The location is convenient; you can find supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby. The room is clean, but the light is a little bit dim. There are enough choices for breakfast buffet, but the food is a bit cold because they leave the cover open.

The hotel is quite old, not soundproof, smells of cigarettes in the room. But the location is good, near 7-11 and there are many shops, many small restaurants nearby hotel. But acceptable for the room price that is not high If not during the festival. This hotel easy for transport to every where because have many bus stations nearby.

Definitely a hotel that's located in a better part of Kaohsiung, easy access to MRT & bus, and close to the port area where most of the sights are.

Great hotel stay experience. Clean and comfy. 5 stars, would willing to return to stay when I come back to kaoshiung!

Really glad i picked this hotel to stay in Kaohsiung! It is near Kaohsiung main station (a big part of the station is under renovation as of August 2024 so the walk from the station is longer as we have to walk a larger loop compared to just walking straight out to the hotel - the hotel faces the main station directly btw). Nonetheless the hotel room is clean and spacious. The bed is larger than what I thought (feels more like a king bed for a double bed!) so that’s a huge plus. The hotel staff were really friendly and kind (living up to the hotel’s name), and we have access to the lounge area which includes free drinks and ice cream + some small snacks! I think these little things really add up to make the stay very pleasant! I would want to come back here next time I’m back in Kaohsiung!

During my stay in was in 2 different rooms which gave a good insight of the conditions. The rooms are spacious and clean although a little outdated. The location of the hotel is good, with plenty of shops in the neighborhood and good access to the MRT.

Although I booked the wrong place and it was far away from my class location, the room was not big but very clean. Even the corners of the floor were dust-free. The cafe on the second floor was available all day long. Even after checking out, I could still drink coffee and read in the cafe while looking out the window. It was very Cozy, I think the environment is very comfortable, the quality of the guests is also very good, the breakfast is diverse for children, I will come back

Good: very good location, only 5 mins from Formosa Boulevard station, interchange of 2 lines. Clean and spacious triple room. Helpful frontdesk staff. Tea time with drinks and snacks. Bad: no chair, luggage rack or large mirror in the room, hair dryer is too weak, breakfast choices are very limited and too local taste.

The room is large, there are many parking spaces in the underground parking lot, the breakfast is diverse, the glass in the bathroom is very transparent and clean, the flushing sound of the toilet in the bathroom is too loud, you can check out at 12 o'clock!

Simple snacks and ice cream are available for afternoon tea and late night snacks! The brewed tea coffee machine ice cream is edible! Do not proactively provide toothbrushes and toothpaste disposable toiletries! If you don’t bring toiletries, you can ask for them at the counter! The only drawback❌ Is there “powder” in the instant pot? ? Don't know what it is? ? Clean it twice before use - then boil water! Bottled water~ Personally, it feels safer to drink it after boiling it and letting it cool down. Ask before checking out! ! Maybe scale? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? A highly satisfying business travel chain! Just came to check in! Very good! Can stay again!
