"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hard 5/5! As a girl travelling solo for the first time, I felt very safe staying and had a lot of fun. Even though it’s a hostel, the environment was comfortable and welcoming. One thing I really appreciated was the international power outlets, which was a huge plus for me. The hostel also offers transportation services to certain attractions and activities, making it very convenient for travellers. The location is excellent — being right next to Chunxi Road meant I could easily explore the city, try local food, and enjoy the area on foot. A special shoutout to the front desk staff, who were incredibly friendly and always happy to recommend places to visit. Their English was excellent as well, which made communication very easy. I would highly recommend this hostel to international travellers. If I visit Chengdu again, I would definitely choose to stay here again! ❤️✨"

"The room is very spacious, and the location is excellent, right next to Lushan Mountain, perfect for a hike. There are plenty of food options nearby, and you can also order takeout. I heard the guesthouse offers shared meals, but I didn't participate. The atmosphere was quite nice, with lots of chatting and laughter. There's a pool table on the third floor, but no one to play with me! 😂 Downstairs, there's a very cute blue cat. When I came back from Silver Beach in the afternoon, it was all alone, so I petted it, and it immediately became very friendly. When I sat down, it came closer and rubbed against me. ☺️ It even jumped onto the table and nuzzled my shoulder! 😀"

"The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a much better stay than an Airbnb. It was excellent value for money, so we ended up staying two nights. The hot water was plentiful for a comfortable shower, and the soundproofing was good – I didn't hear a peep from upstairs at night. The only downside was that it's quite far from the subway station. We ended up taking a taxi directly to the Panda Base, which only cost about 20-something yuan."

Cleanliness: The shared bathrooms are cleaned daily, and the rooms are spotless, with linens changed after every guest. Service: The owner is an experienced hiker, a passionate storyteller, and even a talented dancer! He's incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. He's also a great cook and might even whip up a meal for you. If you're planning a trek, you can arrange transportation through him; it's 60 per person for a pick-up, and you won't have trouble finding companions for routes like the Pasture, C+V, or Glacier treks. After several days on Mount Genyen, a hot meal is pure bliss! If you're cold, he'll start a fire for you and check if you're experiencing altitude sickness. When the conversation flows, he'll encourage you to pursue your dreams, offering genuine support from a stranger. You simply must experience Genyen. Don't be afraid, and don't consider your soul's deepest desires taboo. Live out these dreams, enact them, and build altars for them."

Its value for money and warm atmosphere deserve a full recommendation, perfect for students on a budget or solo short-term travelers. First, the location is incredibly convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the main road bus station, with multiple lines covering the train station, business districts, and popular attractions. Getting around is effortless without complicated transfers, and returning at night isn't a concern regarding isolated paths. There are convenience stores and breakfast shops downstairs, making it easy to buy snacks and drinks. The location is top-tier for its price range. Cleanliness is my top priority, and this hostel excels. Each bunk bed has an individual blackout curtain, offering great privacy. Bedding is changed and cleaned after every guest, with no odors, and the mattress is just right—not too soft, not too hard—making for a comfortable rest after a long day. Public restrooms and showers are cleaned regularly, with dry floors and no standing water. Hot water is available 24/7, and even during peak hours, you won't wait long. The common areas, including the living room, coffee tables, and shelves, are cleaned daily. Tabletops are spotless, and there's no accumulated trash in corners, breaking my preconception of budget hostels being dirty and messy. The front desk staff are gentle and patient, making check-in efficient. They proactively inform guests about access control, charging areas, and water dispensers. When asking for directions, recommendations for hidden gems, or reliable restaurants nearby, they answer thoroughly and patiently, never giving vague responses. Even when I needed to change my check-in time, they were flexible and accommodating, without rigid or harsh rules, which was very comforting. The living atmosphere was the biggest surprise. Most guests are young travelers, and the common living room often buzzes with people sharing travel stories. It's quiet and not noisy, with no late-night disturbances. Multiple charging outlets, free drinking water, and lockers are readily available, showing thoughtful details that make it safe enough for backpackers to store their luggage. The price is affordable and transparent, with no hidden fees, offering outstanding value compared to nearby hotels. It was a comfortable and reassuring stay that added a lot of warmth to my solo journey. If I visit this city again, I'll definitely choose this hostel first, and I recommend it to all solo travelers looking for high-value accommodation."

"This hostel is easily one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed at recently. The location is unbeatable—it’s less than 200 meters from the nearest metro station, making getting around the city completely hassle-free. A few key highlights that made the stay fantastic: Facilities & Layout: The bathroom and washroom facilities are completely separated from the sleeping areas, which keeps the noise down and prevents late-night disruptions. Spotless Cleanliness: Hygiene is clearly a top priority here. Cleanliness was zero issue throughout my stay. They enforce a shoe-change policy upon entering the hostel, which keeps the floors noticeably clean and dust-free. Spacious Dining Area: The communal dining space is huge, bright, and kept absolutely immaculate. It’s a great spot to eat, work, or relax without feeling cramped. Added Convenience: There is a parcel collection station located right on the ground floor. If you're receiving deliveries or shopping online while traveling, picking up your packages couldn't be easier. One Small Heads-Up: They do keep a few cats on the premises! While they are cute, I actually saw one cat helping itself to someone's meal. Make sure you don't leave your food unattended on the tables in the dining area!"

"The emplacement is rather nice, it's in a narrow street that allows for a more peaceful environment. If you want to call taxis though, they won't get in, you will have to walk to the bigger road (very close by) To get to the reception, you will have to climb stairs. If you get a room with shared toilets, just be sure you can handle squat toilets. The walls are rather thin but earplugs are being provided. The shared shower area only has heads that can't be moved from the wall. The shared room has thin mattresses, if you can't handle it, I would recommend a private room instead. If the room is full of luggage, it's possible to put some under the bed."
