Traveling solo, I really didn't want to share a room, so this single room was perfect. The location is super convenient; it's practically a two or three-minute walk from the subway station. There are also plenty of food options nearby, and it's very close to Tongda Restaurant and London Restaurant. Plus, there are street food stalls right outside the hotel every evening.

The room facilities are a bit dated; the faucet in the sink is designed in such a way that water splashes everywhere. The hotel is located on a hillside, so you have to walk uphill to get in and out. Coming from the Sham Shui Po MTR station lift, it's quite a long detour to reach, which might be difficult for those with large luggage, the elderly, or children. At night, there are wild animals (possibly frogs?) calling on the hill, which can be a bit annoying. However, the room is quite spacious, and they now offer complimentary daily snacks. The facilities are generally sufficient, and for this price, I am very satisfied. Please note: a deposit of HKD 500 or equivalent foreign currency is required upon check-in, payable by cash or credit card. Upon check-out, you need to return the room card, bed sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers to the front desk. The building itself is Mei Ho House, a historic building in Hong Kong (public housing). Overall, I recommend it!

The owner is super cool, and their friends are lovely too! I came here during the May Day holiday to check out what's apparently the only gay-friendly hostel in Hong Kong. There were so many handsome guys around, it was totally worth the trip. I really hope the owner's business grows bigger and bigger, so they can eventually upgrade to a place like the Homey Inn (or a similar bigger, more established hostel), and have even more fun times!

Had to do late check in, and the hotel was swift in responding with self check in details. Best part is the location, just opposite Kowloon Park to have an early morning stroll, and accessible to food and bars nearby too. Just 10 mins via metro from Kowloon West train station too.

This hotel offers great value for money. I went alone during Chinese New Year, and it was the cheapest option I could find in a decent location (excluding Chungking Mansions). However, I'd recommend booking directly there rather than online, as it might be even cheaper. The location is incredibly convenient, but the bathroom facilities are quite basic and a bit difficult for washing, though still manageable.

Spacious room and bathroom for Hong Kong and friendly welcoming staff with lots of local recommendations for food and things to do. Cool room design, highly recommend for a short trip.

The location is super great. You’ll see restaurants nearby. Bakehouse is just few steps away from Haiphong Mansion. There’s a michellin restaurant as well and everything you need.
TST MTR is just in front of the hostel.
The host is very friendly. Tho they don’t speak well in english but they did their best to accommodate and help me. They even allow my luggage to stay at the 13th floor for more than 8 hours for free. Usually they only allow it for 4 hours. After 4 hours you need to pay for it. That’s what I understand.
Anyways, I will book this place again once I’ll get back to HKG.
Thanksss
This is my third time staying at this hostel, and the manager and staff are as lovely as ever. The weather was fantastic this time, and I got to see a spectacular sunset – truly stunning and incredibly satisfying. Every visit brings a new experience. I hope to come back for a holiday here every year! Highly recommended!

The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind and genuinely helpful. When I needed shampoo, she gave me a very generous amount! She even patiently showed me how to use the water heater. A huge thanks to her, and I wish her all the best in her work and everything she does! The room was very tidy, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. I'm really satisfied, five-star rating all around!

Receptionists can speak and understand English perfectly and I had no stress during my stay. They kept my baggage after I checked out until midnight, so I enjoyed sightseeing without heavy bag.
No shampoo/ conditioner/ soap, but they have free coffee and tea service. I think it is good enough.
The building location is not so bad, good access to Victoria Peak and the airport by taking a bus without transit.

Good taking care , the room cleans the manager is nice the room is with windows nearby all points of interest we definitely come back
The building's location is easy to find, the receptionist is friendly, and it's very close to the MRT and Bus Stop (A21 and N21) for access to the airport.
Hotel was clean and tidy. Location was at the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui which meant everything was accessible. It is near from the MTR, restaurants, convenience stores, and bus stops. However, it is expected that the room can be quite small so if you wish for bigger rooms, might as well book in another hotel. Overall, our experience was great. Shoutout to Queenie Uela, one of the hotel’s staff who is also our fellow kababayan. She assisted us when we checked in the hotel and is also one call away if we needed anything from them. Would highly recommend this for solo or quad travellers.💯
The overall environment felt safe and well maintained. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made the experience even better. The rooms were cleaned daily, which I really appreciated. While having a few more bathrooms would be nice, it’s understandable given that it’s shared accommodation. Overall, it’s a great place to stay and an excellent option if you want to save some extra money without compromising on comfort.
The staff is very sweet and welcoming. The location is also very close to the station. The capsule is just perfect it has dim lights, charging ports, do not disturb signs and it’s super clean. The bathrooms have hair dryers, give you health kit. It’s just perfect. However, to store the luggage you need to what’s app them and pay 55 HKD via the link they sent.
Simple and clean place to stay. Fantastic location in Kowloon, near everything on that side. Fantastic wifi. Comfortable beds with curtain. There is hot/cool drinking water. No common area. Guests are mostly mainland Chinese. Be aware of the check-in process before booking!! If you don't already have an active and unblocked WeChat account, I suggest you do not book here. - Host does not respond to Trip.com messaging. Only via WeChat (but not a WeChat account linked to the phone number in the booking confirmation) - To find the WeChat code for check-in, locate ”Tsimshatsui Mansion” on Google maps. When you arrive, find elevator #1 or #2 (see attached map), and go to the 8th floor. Other elevators won't access the room - only use those two elevators! - Once you reach the door, scan the WeChat code, send them a screenshot of your booking confirmation, and within a few minutes they'll send you the codes. (I've attached a picture of the WeChat code.) - Be advised that WeChat is incredibly difficult for many foreigners to set up. It's not a simple app like WhatsApp or Line. You often need to find a person with a mainland WeChat account (not a HK account) to authenticate you, though even that fails sometimes. Don't wait until you're at the door to try to make an account. - Without Wechat, I'm not sure if you can check-in. There was one non-Chinese guest who stood outside for a while trying to set up WeChat, until a kind neighbor happened to pass by and scanned the WeChat code for her. - Host could simply send the check-in codes via Trip.com messaging. It would make their life a lot easier and things incredibly better for non-Chinese guests. I recommend they change to doing this.
It's a great hotel. The hotel is close to Causeway Bay Subway Station, with convenient transportation. The room is fully equipped, and the reception so friendly.
