Situated in a walking distance of shops, restaurants and local markets; our hostel is the closest to Seven Star Park, which is the most famous and biggest park in Guilin. The city bus can take you to anywhere of the main streets downtown as well as bus station and railway station. The common areas of our hostel are bright and neat, featuring free Internet access.
Our staff are marked 'superb' by the reviewers simply because they're outgoing and extremely helpful, making guests feel at ease. Many of our visitors say they 'would sure to pay a second visit' to CyanBox when in China.
"Excellent stay! The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the bedding was super comfortable. The soundproofing was fantastic, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep until morning. "Pretty good! Lots of food options nearby. The room had AC, and the service was excellent. I even checked out the morning market, which felt really authentic, and bought a pair of socks for five yuan that are surprisingly comfortable. Also hiked Laozhai Mountain twice!"

"The best hostel I’ve ever stayed in and exactly the Guilin experience I wanted. The location is amazing and there are some very good food places a few hundred metres away. The hostel itself is very social as most are solo travellers meaning it’s very easy to make friends and travel to some areas together. It also feels very homely and the decor is very stylish.
The boss is pretty much always around in person or via WeChat so if you have any questions or problems you can ask him. He can also help you out with finding a shared taxi to some further towns. He also does regular trips to some hidden-gems in Guilin like visiting waterfalls, walking in caves and seeing the sunset meaning for a unique and unforgettable experience that very few travellers will get!
The hostel is very clean too, the boss is always cleaning and tidying up. Other bonuses are the boss’ very cute and friendly corgi who comes to visit multiple times a day.
I will definitely come back and stay here another time :)"

The cabin is located next to Qingyun Market, within a 10 minute walk from the pedestrian street and fountain. Before opening, it has already been left to dissipate the odor of methanol. "The first time I came to Liuzhou, my experience in this capsule hotel was great, the service attitude was very considerate, the customer service sister was enthusiastic, and I received a phone call before I got off the high-speed train, and I would kindly tell you how to take transportation to the capsule hotel from the high-speed train station, and add wechat to make travel suggestions. The hardware in the store is good and the rest is very good, the overall feeling of staying is great, the service attitude is excellent, the bed is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the feeling of home is very good. Convenient transportation, Qingyun Market, five-star Pedestrian Street, Liuzhou Museum are very close, easy to travel. Recommended"

"The hostel is not so close to the main street and area, you need to walk 20 minutes to arrive there but is easy and cheap to get Didi (paid like 6, 7 yuans). The social is very good, you can meet a lot of people, the vibe is great!! The view from the hostel is very beautiful. The room is big, large, very confy and good. There are air condtioned, mirror, private beds with courtain, light and good plugs to charge. The only issue is the toilet, very small, only 2 western toilets and the cleaness was not good. There was moss in the toilets. The shows is good."

"I asked via trip.com how to get from xingping to the hostel they gave me a name which I couldn't find on amap so I asked the host from xingping to call them and ask to send me the name in chinese. They said they didn't know im coming from xingping and therefore they gave me this info. Then they said I need to get off at the bus station instead, its 3km from the hostel. When I arrived after 2pm no one was there and it was closed.i had to ask a lady across hotel to call them and tell im there. They gave her the pin so I could enter. I waited till they came not for long time. The girl gave me some infos what to see in yangshuo. When I got back around 8pm no one was there again so I had to communicate via trip.com which worked.
It was noisy until 12 from street then until 2 or 3 am the people who stayed in hostel acted like they were there alone. The receptionist offered to take me to bus station for 10yuan which was super helpful and convenient.
But nothing to complain f this price."

"It is a very stylish youth travel, with a strong artistic atmosphere, the boss brother and the boss sister are very thoughtful, they have a feeling of their own store, chatting with them is very pleasant ៷＞ᴗ＜៷, the room is very clean, it is the kind of clean, the mattress is really to praise, It is very good in the youth travel I have lived in, with support and softness... The light switch of the bed is touching and good details! The most important thing is that the first floor of the public area is very large. The microwave hot water machine is equipped. I used the instant noodles machine to eat late night. The experience is very fresh and convenient. The first time I used it, the boss sister introduced that it was the same in the Korean drama. The yard is also very large. It is really comfortable to sit in the yard in the afternoon and blow the hair. "Excellent rapport qualité-prix pour ce logement ! Attention si vous ne parlez pas mandarin cela va être un peu plus compliqué… le Check-in se fait en avance via WeChat. N’attendez pas la dernière minute si vous ne voulez pas rester coincé dehors pendant 20 minutes… autrement l’appartement était très bien, propre et fonctionnel. Les matelas ne sont pas confortables (très très fin…) mais ça l’a fait quand même ! Pour le prix je n’ai rien à dire 😉
Tout le monde était très gentil (même si personne ne parlait anglais) et le propriétaire m’a donné des conseils via WeChat pour visiter la ville ☺️"

GGuest UserHonestly, I was quite disappointed.
Based on the photos, the common area looks great: bright, welcoming, with what seems to be a nice social space and a beautiful bar. In reality, when you arrive, you realize that this is just the reception, and it doesn’t look the same at all. It feels like the photos were heavily edited or filtered. There is no bar on the right side as shown; instead, there was a guy sitting at the reception with all his personal belongings, watching TV. There are no bar chairs, no real common space, and no area designed to meet people, which is one of the main reasons for staying in a hostel.
I was traveling solo, and I ended up paying more than I would have paid in another hotel, for a lower-quality room and with no pleasant common space or bar at all.
On top of that, a guy from the reception entered my room without warning, without knocking, and woke me up during the morning. He was lost and thought I was supposed to check out that day, which was incorrect. He didn’t apologize or warn me before entering.
There was no proper heating or air conditioning. Either it was not available or it was turned off to save energy or money, but the room was very cold. My room had no window, and most of the rooms don’t have windows either.
Overall, for the price, I was really disappointed.

MM896833****This hostel deserves five stars! The location is fantastic – right outside the high-speed rail station, making it incredibly convenient to get to attractions and business districts. It's not in the bustling city center, so it's very quiet. The common areas are clean and tidy, with separate sections for male and female guests. The public space is large, and the decor is cozy and stylish. It's super comfortable for chatting with friends or reading in the evening. Plus, there are adorable cats! Playing with them was so much fun. The owner and staff are warm and thoughtful. After a hike, I was running late to pick up my luggage from storage and head to the high-speed rail station, so I just rested on the sofa. The owner even brought me a blanket, saying I could lie down and cover up to avoid catching a cold since I was traveling. That was so heartwarming! The bunk beds are comfy, the mattresses are just right (not too hard, not too soft), and the blankets are clean and odor-free. The soundproofing is also good, ensuring a great night's sleep. The washrooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily, and hot water is available 24/7, which is perfectly sufficient! It offers amazing value for money, and I felt as comfortable as if I were at home. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

CCheng Soi LaiThe location is good. Just 300 metres to the official Mingshi scenic area and the Tourist Centre. There are shuttle buses at the Tourist Centre to Detian Waterfall every day at 8.30 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm at 15 Yuan per person. There are also return shuttle buses from Detian Waterfall to Mingshi.
Staying at Kongshan Xiaozhu, we can enter the official Mingshi scenic area for the 8pm night performance by showing the card given to us by the boss.
Travelling to Kongshan Xiaozhu is very convenient by coach from Nanning Xixiangtang Bus Station. The driver will drop you at the roadside just 1 min walk to Kongshan Xiaozhu. Return to Nanning is also the same. The driver will pick you up at the roadside.

Air-conditioning making noise so switched it off.

Actually at a small hotel it should be better as there are not so many staff nor rooms to manage and should there be more time to give attention to cleanliness and condition of bedding.

AAimaoxiandeyayaHey Shanghainese folks, listen up! It's only a few hundred meters from the actual main entrance, but for lazy people, it might be a bit of a trek. You can drive there, and parking is 30 RMB. The guesthouse itself is really great – clean and relatively quiet! It's the tallest and largest guesthouse around, standing out from the ones on either side, so the views are unobstructed. During the National Day holiday, things were busy, but the landlady kept her cool and was super responsive to everything, which I really appreciated. Honestly, after looking around this trip, the service here was better than other so-called high-end guesthouses. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. There's parking right outside. I didn't have the landlady buy the 80 RMB tickets for me because she couldn't get them until 8:30 AM, and the scenic area opens at 7:30 AM. I bought my 110 RMB ticket online directly and was the first one through the gates on National Day. By 9 AM, when I was done and leaving, the peak crowds were just arriving. Then I went back to the guesthouse, took a shower, had some noodles, and relaxed watching a Vietnamese drama – pretty sweet!
