Lazy Gaga was in a good location in GZ. We had a private room with 2 single beds the first night which was quite good. Then dorms the following 2 nights. Both privates & Dorms had ac & ensuites which was really good. There was a good social atmosphere in the hostel & met plenty of new faces on our stay there.

Facilities: Single-family house, close to the subway station. It takes five minutes to walk to the subway station of Tuanyi Square. There is a shopping mall next to it (2 minutes walk). There are Starbucks, Luckin Coffee, McDonald's, etc. Environment: Very good. You can see the pictures. I took them when I left. The bed was not made up. Each person has a cabinet (which can only be opened by swiping the room card). It is very large and can also hold suitcases. Free bath towels, shower caps, disposable underwear, and hair bands are provided. It is very thoughtful for girls. It is forbidden to make calls and play sound outside in the room to ensure everyone's sleep. If you want to make a call, you can do it in the public area on the first floor. I really love this hostel, its super convenient for solo travellers like me and the room really comfortable. There's a small library, kitchen for you to cook something too, free coffee and mineral water also you can enjoy free WiFi too! Extra information in China they mostly use Wechat or Alipay its better for you guys to transfer money into wechat account even vending machine there only paid by that. Before you left the hostel, you can left notes for them too! Everything use technology there and you have to pay 100yuan for deposit please prepare the cash money ya! Overall, I love the hostel and all the staff did a great job. Everyone greet me well even I don't really understand Mandarin language 🙂

The Hotel located at downtown area in Guangzhou. We were in Building B. It's very old and historical building. Room Height about 14 Feet. The location 10 to 12 min. walking distance from the XIMENKOU (Line-1) Metro Station - Exit A or B. (Near Guangzhou Children's Hospital). Reception person speak English. It is very helpful for foreign guest. The hotel using WeChat communication with guest. So, guest can easily communicate with hotel for any kind of help. There have a very nice COFFEE shop. It is relay enjoyable. Very nice place. Everything find near by this hotel.

Having that said, the location is ok (next to the metro line 3) and the girls in the apartment were nice and friendly. Most of them live there permanently so the apartment is quite 'lived'. One bathroom and shower for 8 people. It's fine for a couple of nights!

Staff checked me in without incident, common area was partially filled with guest from the hostel side. Room was clean and neat but as you might guess it was sparse / not many amenities (hair dryer, tooth brushes, towels). Shower was not separate from the rest of bathroom. Bed was rather firm. Stairway approach to second floor entrance was not decorated. Good if you want a place to stay overnight. Not to hang out in the room but hanging out in the common area might be nice. Would stay there again but if on a date you likely want a nicer place.
