Hostel G Perth

Perth Central Business District
The young lady at the reception at around 6 pm on the evening of Apirl 10 was excellent !! When learning that my luggage was left in the taxi taking me from Perth airport to this hotel and the taxi was gone, she helped me enormously. 1) Sharing what she knew about the results of previous similar cases; 2) Lending me her own cell phone, so that I could call the police; 3) Helping me several times with my communication with the local police.
Bentley Motel

Excellent location for travellers. Nice staff. Make sure you tell them if you plan to arrive after 6 pm. Large room with mini kitchen (microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, cutlery, dishes). Laundry on site. Nice bathroom with roomy shower. Lots of storage plus a safe. Clean modern decor. Close to airport (taxi about $40 but you could use public transport) and there is a bus to Perth city centre right outside (takes about 30 minutes). Lots of local shops and restaurants. If you’re travelling with a rented vehicle and you have been on the red dirt roads there is an expensive car wash next door and a cheaper one just up the road. We stayed here at the start and end of our Western Australia camping trip and it was perfect.

Hospitality Kalgoorlie, SureStay Collection by Best Western

The bed was really comfortable. The staff were amazing. Our parking space was by the road (the only car parked in that area). The staff happily arranged for us to park in the internal carpark instead. The breakfast the following morning was a real bonus. The variety of breakfast items was really good, and they had lactose free milk (which is not common) which is a big bonus. We would definitely stay here again.
YHA Fremantle Prison
4.3/551 Reviews
The thought of staying in prison is usually nothing you would enjoy. Well, we did enjoy our stay at the YHA a lot. We slept in a cell and due to the fact it's a heritage building, they can't install ACs in there, so it was warm at night, with day temperatures of 45 degrees. The fan did not really cool the room down, yet it was fine. We knew what we booked and that it can be hot in February. There are plenty of bathrooms all over the hostel, so you always find a shower or a toilette. The kitchen is spacious and clean. Of course, there are dirty dishes, but let's be honest: most of the guests are adults and should be capable of cleaning their dishes and clean up their mess. It's not the job of the staff to do this. The YHA has a nice, big garden, a big community area (inside) and a community area outside. It was very quiet at night, perfect for anybody, who needs some sleep. The staff was always very friendly and helpful and made our stay even better. It's located right next to Fremantle Prison and less than a five minutes walk from Fremantle market.

Location was great! Short 10min drive to frementle. Many supermarkets and eateries in the vicinity too. Room was no frills but sufficient for us, just that the freezer wasn't cold enough. We also appreciate the simple breakfast prepared by the staff. Had a great stay all in all :)
Edge of the Forest Motel

We loved our stay! They were so friendly and the room was super cute and cosy. Had everything we needed in the room for our stay. The garden view was nice despite it being winter. It was cold in the morning but we still sat outside to watch the birds play and chirp. There is also a short forest walk at the back which was quite nice. Got some nice photos of the flowers. Do recommend. :)
Augusta's Georgiana Molloy Motel
3.2/515 Reviews
Extremely tight limited parking. Very clean Spacious room with queen bed, good mattress & pillows, sofa, armchair, table & chairs, gas cooking stove, microwave, fridge. Large smart tv, ironing board, iron, tea & coffee, kettle & toaster. No Airconditioner. After entering I had to ask the owner to adjust the wall fan. Then I had to get him to fix the hot water as there was none. There was no soap, shampoo, conditioner or tissues provided. There was no milk for tea & coffee. The bedside lamp globe blew out late at night as I turned it on. Theres a private courtyard at the rear. The owner was less than professional but was helpful & curtious. Bed & pillows were average in comfort.
