GGuest UserWe lived in 2 rooms, and here are those rooms that through the road already old, dark and small, to the beach still far away, riding a car, and so the guys are respiratory very good and responsive. Well, the second room, more and better, much brighter and more comfortable. There is a pool and grill
3316RickWIf you are looking for a lovely boutique style, away from the main hustle stay, then the aptly named Oasis is a definite must. We stayed for 3 nights as a party of 6 (with 2 infants), and found it perfect. Just a 20 min or so walk or 3 minute uber to the main downtown area of Lauderdale, and really close for easy access to the cruise port. It was ideal. Really comfortable lovely garden / lanai area (friendly cat) well maintained. WE loved it !
Our experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. Despite informing them in advance that we would be arriving for a late check-in, they failed to leave the door open for us, causing unnecessary frustration for our family. When we realized that door was locked, i called the manager who is name Oliver and we we’re waiting to hear apologies from him but instead he said we should call ******* (!) I explained him that you guys supposed to leave the door is open because we let you know before we arrived, now we are here mid of the night with 2 kids and wife, he didn’t even care to responded. Next morning, after all this The manager Oliver’s attitude was shockingly rude and unhelpful, making us feel unwelcome from the start. To make matters worse, the cleanliness of the place was severely lacking, with dirty rooms, dirty sheets and common areas. There was a guy who was painting the wall was the same guy who check people in. So basically manager was the same person who does construction job too. However, what was truly alarming was this hotel even dont care for human safety. The elevator permits was expired and was really scare to use in. And its allowed posing a serious risk to guests due poor condition. ”Look all the photos im posting here” Overall, our stay was marred by poor service, an inhospitable manager, an unclean environment, and a blatant disregard for the safety of their guests. We would strongly advise against staying at this hotel.
We stayed at the Crown Plaza Ft Lauderdale Harbor both before and after our recent cruise. The hotel is very convenient to the cruise terminals and provides reserved shuttle service to the terminal for a $10 per person fee. They also have free reserved 24-hour shuttle service to the airport every hour. The hotel, itself, is clean and neat but nothing fancy. There is a breakfast buffet and the staff is very helpful. DC, the young man who checked us in, helped us with everything we needed to experience a seamless transition from the hotel to the ship. He even showed us how to use Uber (we are older) to go to the Las Olas district of Ft Lauderdale. His help assured we had an enjoyable pre and post cruise experience.
