Best location! It was near and easy going around Yosemite park from this hotel. Right outside our room was the river and it was the best sight specially in the morning. Love the big bath tub with jets! Just needs more cleaning coz i noticed it has got molds already. There is absolutely no phone signal here and Wifi is not free so you have to purchase on check in. Funny tho coz once you are in Yosemite park, there is LTE signal. There is fridge, cooking utensils, electric stove, plates, cups, cleaning stuff, room was huge!! We got the 2 queen beds room type. The food in their restaurant is not so bad, the service could be better tho. Our food came super slow. There is plenty of parking space and its for free. I never get to try their pool and laundry facilities.

It was the cheapest place in LA, so I stayed there for 5 days. It's a good facility, but it's not well maintained. The cleanliness of the accommodation, the cleanliness of the shower room, all kinds of discarded clothes piled up. There was a lot of poop in the toilet and there was no hot water, so I took a cold shower. The air conditioning temperature in the room was so low that I covered myself with a blanket and felt cold. I hope you manage the temperature of your air conditioner well. The common space on the second floor has a washing machine, refrigerator, and cooking facilities. However, there are a lot of old food seasonings piled up in the refrigerator and on shelves. Every day the manager comes and does something and it’s not good. As someone who writes this, I don't understand. As someone who has experience in motel management, I feel sorry for ruining such a good facility. It's nice that there's a kitchen so the cost of food only costs about half. No laundry fees... There are very few buildings and facilities visible. If I were to give management advice... 1. Keeping things clean is difficult at first, but after a while it becomes very easy. Especially the toilet... Wearing gloves when wiping the toilet is hygienic, visually visible, and comfortable for guests. We recommend installing a bidet in the toilet. clean and hygienic Toilet paper consumption and waste are reduced. It is also great for preventing viruses. The building has very good heating and cooling ducts. However, a lot of dust accumulates at the duct entrance and exit, which is not good in terms of hygienic efficiency. Air conditioning and heating systems can be easily maintained with a little attention. 2. The refrigerator in the second floor kitchen must be thoroughly managed, and all seasonings on the shelves can be thrown away. It's old and has no owner. My husband and I experience the WORST stay of our lives here. What’s worse is the owners’ refusal to make anything right. Soon after we arrived and were hoping to relax next to the fire, a noxious odor began to infiltrate the cottage. We contacted the innkeeper, who came in and immediately agreed that there was a bad odor coming from the fireplace. She suggested changing to another cottage, which emitted the same noxious odor as the first cottage we were staying in. She said the fireplaces had recently been serviced. We think some harsh chemical was used to clean or service them. The innkeeper suggested that we spend our vacation time finding a cottage that didn’t have a smell, while she attended to other things. That should have been her responsibility. We ended up having leave the windows open all night along in December! We contacted the inn after our stay and they said they acknowledged that there was a foul smelling odor, but said “It's our sincere hope that our offer of a different cottage and the complementary wine will demonstrate our dedication to ensuring your future experiences with us are delightful and stress-free, in line with the visits you've had in the past.” They offered us a cheap bottle of wine to compensate for a cold, stressful, toxic night. The offer for a “different cottage” was no offer at all: we tried another cottage and it was just as foul smelling due to the fireplaces being serviced. And the innkeeper did not assist us with finding another cottage because she was too busy. This place used to be beloved to us. This experience has caused us to do further research in the Cottage Grove Inn business to see if we were not the only ones who has experienced this. We read reviews on various sites. Several guests have left negative reviews recently. Some of these complaints are very alarming, such as non-compliance with ADA rules, faulty smoke and carbon monoxide detectors that required a 911 call and a visit from the fire department, fraudulent credit card charges, poor management, customers feeling they were treated rudely by the manager, and an extreme decline in quality in the last year, charging more and offering less. It appears this business has undergone a change in ownership in the last few years, being purchased from its longtime owners. As returning and longtime customers, we (myself and my husband) feel that we have been disrespected and treated poorly. We hoped that we would be treated with more respect with an offer for a resolution due to this incident. We are reporting this Inn and its owners to the Department of Consumer Affairs and the California Department of Public Health. For your own health and well-being, we advise to stay away from Cottage Grove Inn.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is beyond disgusting, unsafe, and unprofessional. I booked a room with 2 queen beds for one night for 3 adults. The room we were given had one bed and a mattress for us to sleep on. The actual bed didn't have any blankets, only a sheet and some pillows. The mattress didn't even have that, it was just a stained fitted sheet that looked like it hadn't been washed. We searched the entire room for blankets or even a single pillow/top sheet for the mattress but there was nothing in the room. I went to the front desk and asked the manager if we could have some pillows and blankets since our room had none. She told us we didn't ”need any” since it was ”warm enough” at night. We told her we wanted bedding even if it was ”warm enough” (＜55ºF that night) and she then said the owner didn't let them wash blankets in the summer and that all the pillows and sheets were ”lost” at other properties. I kept insisting and finally she gave me 2 thin white sheets that both had brown stains all over them, telling me to use one as a pillow. I walked away in shock not believing that a hotel I payed $150 to stay one night at refused to give me bedding. To keep the rest short, Once we realized how bad the situation was, we tried to find a room anywhere else in town but there was nothing available within such short notice. It was already late and we had just driven 5 hours from home so we decided to leave very early the next morning to get out of there as soon as possible. Besides the strange and upsetting interaction with the front desk, we also found that the shower had no shower head, the toilet paper roll holder was ripped off the wall and a used roll was sitting on the counter instead, the bathroom sink was covered in dried toothpaste and green mold, the pot for a large decorative plant was filled with trash, the only ”lock” on the door was a key code (that was known by the staff) and a broken latch bolt that didn't even stay on the door, and finally, a DEAD LIZARD in the cabinet next to the bed! It almost felt like a sick joke or a scam. I am horrified that this is how we were treated.

It is said that this hotel has to be booked long in advance, otherwise it is difficult to book! Located in the Yosemite Valley, it is more like a resort hotel in nature, as well as a variety of activities for children, not to mention the environment. I was fortunate enough to book this hot hotel. When I checked in, I was told that the room was upgraded! ! Upgraded into a family room, I suddenly felt a little lost with my husband. We live in the K area. The tap water in the hotel is all spring water. I curiously tried the shampoo and hair care products that come with the bathroom. It feels very good. The shampoo conditioner feels anti-off, and the taste is light and loose. It smells good! Dinner in their restaurant, the high-cost western restaurant, opened in the valley, but the price is not expensive than the downtown restaurant, the taste is also very good, praise! !

Take a rest overnight on California Highway 1. The hotel room is very large, the interior of the cabin is relatively classic, the living room and bedroom each have a large fireplace, giving a very warm feeling on winter nights. Breakfast includes fried eggs, potatoes, various kinds of bread, hot tea, sausage, milk coffee, fruit salad, etc., which is not bad.

We spent 4 nights here in Early Nov. and we had such a great experience! Our large 1 bdrm cabin was spacious and clean and had room to stretch out on a nice sofa with a coffee table. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics and there is even a really great sounding Bluetooth speaker. We loved the little desk area for plotting our travels in Yosemite. The welcome card has great little QR codes with links to sightseeing, local restaurants, and even a list of all the items you can find in their camp store. There were some vintage Saturday Evening Post magazines from the 60’s that were fun to flip through while sitting on our deck and enjoying a beverage from the adorable little camp store on the property. The little store has such a great curated selection of snacks and beverages and sundries and lots of little items that you might have forgotten to pack! We had beautiful weather (70’s day/40’s night) and we took advantage of the lovely hiking trails on the property and we used the complimentary bikes on the paved pathways that wind around the property beyond the clubhouse. They have several really interesting large sculptures and art pieces scattered around the grounds along the pathways to keep things interesting too! We saw so much wildlife on our excursions (even a cute little bobcat) and at night there was an amazing concert at the intimate little clubhouse music venue! The event was even catered with delicious dinner options and there is a bar with super friendly tenders keeping the party going during and after the show. Everything is really well thought out and organized and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

A very beautiful big house, it feels more like an airbnb homestay, not like a hotel, but it feels very special. The house is located in the wealthy area on the mountain. It is very luxurious. It is said that this house has a history of nearly 50 years, and the floor is covered. The patina is out. Usually when there are no guests, there will be a lot of sexy internet celebrities to pose for photos. The owner of the grandfather was very nice. He prepared breakfast for us in the morning. He knew that we were Chinese and would help us cook dumplings, watch TV on the cctv channel, recommend tourist routes, etc. He was very very enthusiastic and made us all embarrassed, toilet The two rooms are shared, but there is no one next door on the day we stayed, so it is equivalent to a private toilet. Good location, old building, good value for money

韓国人が経営しているホステルです。ホステルの方も宿泊者も優しくて、仲良くなることが出来ました。ホステルで一緒に泊まった仲間とお酒を飲みながらいろいろ話したりできて、いい思い出です。近くの治安はLAの中では良い方だと思います。

Managed to find a good deal as booked the same day when already on the way to the island on the ferry. Had a good sized room which included a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. Decor is a bit dated but not shockingly so. Breakfast was adequate as can be expected in this class of establishment and staff were all helpful and friendly.

My fiancé and I did a hotel buyout of the Arroyo for our wedding this month, and it was absolutely worth it! Our friends and family stayed in all the rooms, which were lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The Arroyo also catered our goodbye brunch the Sunday after the wedding, and it was FANTASTIC. They provided a decadent buffet of French toast, sausage, eggs, quiche, bacon, kept the coffee fresh, and included a few bottles of bubbly and orange juice to make mimosas. We were a bit slow getting all of our wedding guests out, but the owners were extremely relaxed about letting us take our time to spend our final moments with all our friends and family. Given the size of our wedding, we also did a hotel buyout of another boutique inn down the street, Bi**** Ho****. If you're deciding between these two, choose the Arroyo, hands down. Communication with the Arroyo staff was excellent, unlike the owners at B***** H****, who we contacted many times via emails, texts, and phone calls, only to receive responses sporadically. Due to this lack of communication, there was a severe misunderstanding between us that resulted in a really awful exchange on our last day. It was the only negative experience of our entire wedding weekend. If you want to spend a lot of money and be treated poorly by a pretentious couple who seem to think they are overseeing a museum rather than a hotel, stay at Bi***** Ho****. However, if you want to have a pleasant hospitality experience without the drama, complete with excellent food and beautiful views, the Arroyo is your place!
