"Positive: This was my first time in this hotel and I stayed for 10 nights. This is a reasonably priced and good hotel in Dili. The 25 square meters guestroom has everything that I needed, apart from a comfortable bed - a work desk, work chair, desk lamp, additional chairs, breakfast, wifi, a 1.5-liter water bottle daily, electric kettle, Chinese tea sachets, mini refrigerator, hot water for shower, free laundry service, plenty of natural light, and two wall sockets (combined US A-Type and Euro C-Type, and Australia Type I) on every wall. In fact, they do not properly advertise the amenities they provide that should be their main selling point, and the available photos of a guestroom is inadequate that do not show the whole range of amenities they provide. And their human quality is excellent - friendly, helpful, English speaking staff members, including some janitors. I will stay in this hotel when I visit Dili again. I highly recommend this hotel. Negative: There are a few negative things, but these are beyond the hotel's control. For example, poor internet connectivity. Suggestion: The hotel could install a central main light in the guestroom from the ceiling and include a pedestal fan, as air conditioning is not always required. Another important and sustainable suggestion is to provide continuous electricity connection to the mini refrigerator. Presently, electricity connection to the refrigerator is turned off when the door keycard is removed when leaving the room, but I think that power supply to the refrigerator should be uninterrupted to keep stored food items fresh and safe."

Renovated in 2025, the Beach Garden Hotel is a great choice for accommodation in Dili. From the hotel, President Nicolau Lobato International Airport is just 5km away. This hotel is located near many of Dili's attractions including Farol, OKA Convention Center (OKA Hall Salão Rudal 7984) and Masjid Al Munawwaroh. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay, our guests have told us that this location is excellent.

"We flew to East Timor to 'tick off' another new country, and chose this hotel for a one-night stay, within walking distance of the city center! The hotel exceeded all expectations – the people at the front desk were incredible, smiling, kind, and ready to assist with any request. The hotel isn't new, but it's well-maintained, clean, and cozy. The location is excellent, right by the sea, where you can catch an amazing sunset and a magical sunrise! The breakfast was small but very tasty! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There's a pool in the courtyard, but we didn't have time to use it. I definitely recommend it! Special thanks for the airport transfer both ways! The charming gentleman who picked us up and dropped us off was incredibly efficient! We left with the warmest and brightest memories of this trip!"

The Palm Malinamoc Hotel is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Dili, having been recently renovated in 2023. The hotel is conveniently located a short 2km drive from President Nicolau Lobato International Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Musholla Muslim Tarawih, John Paul II Training Center and Statua Presidente Nicolau Lobato all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site.

"First of all, there is nothing fun in East Timor. It is relatively scarce in terms of tourism resources, transportation is not convenient, and prices are relatively high. Then as for the hotel, it is just so-so, a bit like the guesthouses in China. The facilities are relatively old and the business is relatively small. There are no slippers in the room, and you don’t have to bring your own toothbrush or other toiletries. There is no free mineral water, only bottled water service, which can only be said to be make do. The free breakfast is relatively small. It may be because it is closer to the airport and the transportation is more convenient. The infrastructure of the whole East Timor is really poor."
