"Complicated Stay While location is good, near steen and stroms.  too many doors to open using the app. different codes for building entry and rooms. too much reliance on app to open doors (which often need more tries before it can work)  instead of having digital buttons to enter premises.  low ceilings for hallways so it seems like a container house. good supply room for bath towels.  laundry area can be improved. only two washing machines (small one) and one dryer.  old style elevator, small - have to use stairs in between. so if you have lots of luggages...this place is not recommended."

"i had an amazing experience at this apartment. the room was very clean, spacious and comfortable . The location was perfect. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort !"

"The first time I lived in a standardized European camp, the experience was very good, because it was not a RV, I chose a cabin, the public bathroom and toilet were very clean, because I didn’t bring kitchenware, I couldn’t experience the public kitchen, the natural environment of the camp was very good, the air was very fresh, there was 42 buses at the door, It takes half an hour to go to the center of the city. There is a supermarket at the entrance of the camp. The staff is also very nice. I watched the RVs in the camp, just like visiting the RV Show."

"Took me a while to get used to having no reception or staff around, but the hotel was amazing. Brilliant location close to the main train station with easy links to the airport and tram stop very close. Most main attractions are walkable in about 20 minutes. Loads of options for food, shopping, cafes and bars around. I loved the options of borrowing tote bags and cameras to go around the city, and the reusable water bottles were really handy (plus the tap water is the best water I’ve ever tasted!) Staff were easy to get in contact with and very friendly. The bed was really comfy and I slept very well every night. I do wish the room was a little darker at night as the curtains let quite a bit of light in, but on the whole it was a brilliant stay and I’d definitely recommend it."

"For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!"

"We chose an apt because we like to do our own cooking  The stove hob didn't work and they fobbed us of with electronic responses and broken promises for our total stay of 3 days. On the last night they asked us if we would consider changing apts if one became available. What a joke the place was empty You could shoot a cannon and not hit anyone. If they did not have maintenance available they could have offered the change on the first Night . Lots of food wasted because we had no cook top. No front desk means that there is no one to complaint to. Their Automated electronic responses to service requests  provides appalling customer service. Emails and emergency phone calls don't generate responses either. A disappointing stay."

"The famous hotel is self-checkin online, you will get a password, and you will check in by yourself. The location is more convenient, take the tram for about 10 minutes to the Opera House and Monk Art Museum. The kitchen utensils are relatively complete, there is no problem with cooking, and the overall experience is good!"
