"It was a pleasure to stay here. We spent 3 months in Thailand and 3 days in Houayxay, but we never experienced a European standard like this for a similar price. The road up to the accommodation might be challenging for older people with their luggage. However, to be fair, the hotelier helped me with my 30–40 kg backpack and transported it on his motorcycle – thank you very much for that! The room itself is spacious and very clean. And the bed… just amazing to sleep in! The breakfast was also delicious: dragon fruit, banana, watermelon, a variety of eggs (fried, boiled, omelet), four slices of bread, butter and pineapple jam, as well as coffee or tea. "I think it's a good place to stay overnight at Park Ben while traveling alone. The bed was clean and gave me drinks, shampoo, body soap and toilet paper. However, the shower and toilet of the person staying in the dormitory were in the same private room, which was a bit inconvenient. There was no air conditioner!
