"Suitenkaku was our first stay in a Ryokan. Those who want to visit Tottori, Izumo and Sakaiminato will find Matsue well located, while the Ryokan is next door to the Ichibata railway deserving the Izumo Taisha. The room was renovated and very spacious, offering a direct view to the lake. Above all, the staff was absolutely friendly and helpful. Real Omotenashi !

"The large public bath was very comfortable. Although the facilities are a bit old, the overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. The garden view was beautiful during the snowfall. However, the staff's service was a bit lukewarm, lacking the attentive attitude one would expect from a hot spring hotel. I hope this can be improved."

It is large enough, and it is about 10 minutes walk to the museum of the evening view.
I enjoyed walking around the izakaya nearby for dinner, and I was free without worrying. I enjoyed it purely.

"It’s really a very good hotel. I didn’t expect anything from Shimagen, but from the beginning of landing at Izumo Airport, all the way to the hotel, I met very warm and friendly people. The staff of the bridge management were very enthusiastic and responsible. The design and facilities of the hotel can be said that I have lived in the top three in all Japanese hotels. The design is obviously very attentive, convenient and practical, not fancy, simple and generous, and the room is really clean. The hotel is on the right hand side of the station and the traffic is convenient. The reception staff at the front desk were not only enthusiastic and patient, but also specially printed the Chinese version of the hotel guide, moved, great praise! ! !"

"The hot spring was pleasant and the washing area was spacious. I booked with breakfast and dinner included. I think this was the simplest course for the price, but dinner was a full course and I was full. The final dessert parfait was a specialty and was very delicious and filling. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, so it was hard to choose. The clam miso soup was excellent. All the staff were very kind and I would like to stay with them again if I have the opportunity. It was more than worth the price. Thank you very much."

"To be honest, the location of the apartment is not bad, and it is very convenient and easy to locate. The only thing to criticize, if you are asking me, is that it is so close to the traffic which cause a bit of noise. It is clean and tidy and have most of the daily necessities. We loved the cooking utensils especially the heating plate.
There are lots of restaurants and very need to Lawson. A great place to stay! 😄😃👍👍👍"

"This hotel is truly amazing! I appreciate a lot on:
- warm and friendly staff who could not speak much English but were very nice to explain to me the details of the hotel
- gorgeous garden where you could take a seat and enjoy the view
- free Japanese alcohol at 1500-1800 (soft drinks until 2100)
- impressive free Japanese cultural performance at 2110
- quick and positive response despite I made several urgent requests due to sudden plan change
- free shuttle bus service between JR station and hotel if you approached front desk for information
- the environment of the public bath was quite clean
- totally different food combination in dinner for 2 nights
Considering the price I paid for such service, I would say the quality is definitely beyond my expectation. :) Thank you every hotel staff who made my experience a better stay!!"

"It feels like an old inn has been renewed for private guests. The building may be old, but the interior is beautiful.
The single private room is super small with only a bed. Well, there is no problem with lying down and looking at your phone. It's a private room, but of course, you can hear the snoring in the next room, as well as the sound of opening the bag. It might be better to have an earphone.
However, there is an inner hot water, the location is good, and the price is sufficiently satisfactory."

The room is lovely, a cozy traditional tatami style. It's managed by locals, so that's really nice. I kinda regret not getting a place closer to the center. It's 30 minutes walk from the train station (with some sights along the way). There is a local bus (Google maps seems to be on point with it) but it doesn't drive all that often. There is however a great Onsen 15 minutes walk from the hotel. I do reccomend that. :)

The room used the loft type.
It was very beautiful and enough for us to use just to sleep.
There is a unit bus, but I also got a ticket for a nearby hot spring.
Because it was heavy snow, I was able to borrow brush, hot water and color 々 on my way home.
The staff is kind and I would like to use it again.

It takes about 40 minutes by car from the city, and half of it has to run on the mountain road along the sea, but there are about 5 minutes by car from Nikko Lighthouse, Nikko Shrine, Izumo Matsushima, etc., and I went sightseeing after staying.
The inn was cleanly renovated, the bath, toilet and washroom were shared but no problem. The room had a TV, refrigerator, yukata, towels, toothbrush, Japanese tea and tea tea bags.
１ There was a vending machine in the lobby on the floor, such as pots, microwave ovens, beverages, cup noodles, frozen foods, etc.

Whether it is the service or the environment, it is far beyond my expectations. The location is also very good. The station is just a little way out, and you can rent bicycles next to it. The boss and his wife of the bicycle line are also very good, allowing me to ride to the supermarket to buy things after timeout. The supermarket cashier was also super enthusiastic. When I went there at night, I gave me the jacket I left there at noon and gave me 🤭 with my children to experience the Japanese family lifestyle. The breakfast and dinner made by the proprietress were delicious and exquisite. The sashimi for dinner was very fresh, the mini sushi pot was great, and the breakfast actually ate the luxury goods in the fruit (in Japan), watermelon and net melon. It is recommended that you go on weekends, you can see the steam train, and there may be activities in the shrine.

We stayed for Matsue sightseeing. It was convenient at the location of Matsue Jo castle. The bus from Matsue Station stopped nearby, and I arrived in a blink of an eye while watching the castle town about 25 minutes walk from Matsue Station. The explanation at check-in was polite and the system was always supported. The towel was one face towel and one bath towel. I thought it would be crowded because the bath was １, but I could use it smoothly.

さーーちI made a reservation for worshiping Izumo Taisha Shrine. The log house was beautiful and impressed from the moment I entered the entrance. There was a bedroom on the first and second floors, and I was very satisfied with the bedroom on the first floor because I had elderly parents who were hard to use the stairs.
The breakfast was very delicious. It was close to Izumo Taisha shrine and was able to visit early.
I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Check in is a sightseeing site in Hashimi, where the service staff kindly guide you how to explore the island and how to stay.
The hotel is very close to the port, only a 5-minute walk away. It is a quaint Japanese-style building with a modern hotel interior. It is very clean, bright and dry and wet bathroom, spacious and comfortable.
I live in a single room this time, facing the sea, the scene is beautiful, I like it very much!
