"Ureshino Onsen ♨️ They say your skin feels amazing after a soak, and it truly lives up to its reputation! I'd definitely come back again. This onsen hotel included breakfast and dinner with the booking. We stayed in a two-story villa, which is a bit further from the main building, about a few minutes' walk. If you don't feel like walking, the hotel offers a shuttle service, so the service is excellent. Check-in was naturally quick. The main building has an outdoor bath and various other baths, but since they're not that big, it can be hard to get a spot at night. Our villa had a private onsen, so we could take our time soaking in the room. The kaiseki meals for both breakfast and dinner were also quite good. I'd recommend booking it – we really enjoyed it!"

Both the large communal bath and the open-air bath can be enjoyed using our own hot spring water.

"The room size was decent, plenty of entertainment on Level 1 *some are not free* and a foot bath right in front of the hotel. Put some mosquito repellent, we didn't even get to sit more than 5 mins because of mosquitoes. Loved their dinner buffet. Thanks to the free alcoholic drinks we got to sample a few different types of sake. The food was good and for the breakfast French toast was the best. The dinner buffet timing was only 1.5 hours but it was more than enough for us. The room pricing isn’t cheap but it’s definitely worth the value if you just want to spend a quiet and relaxing evening inside the hotel after visiting some of the attractions around the area."

The moment you step into our hotel, you’ll forget the hustle and bustle of daily life— even the fact that you're in the very heart of the Ureshino hot spring town will fade away. Surrounded by tranquil cedar groves, our inn offers a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. The building was designed by the late Mr. Junzo Yoshimura, a member of the Japan Art Academy, who was also involved in the basic design of the new Imperial Palace in Tokyo. We aspire to be a ryokan where every detail reflects thoughtful hospitality, gracefully suited to the emotionally rich design of our space. Since our founding in 1925 (Taisho 14), we have held this wish close to our hearts and have continuously worked to fulfill it.

"I really loved my stay at Ureshino Onsen Taishoya. The hot spring was amazingly smooth, the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the staff were so warm and attentive. A truly relaxing and memorable experience — I would love to come back again. ♨️"

Healing journey in Ureshino Onsen with lots of Japanese green tea! First Ureshino Japanese green tea bath available for a rebirth of your skin!

"Highly recommend this hot spring hotel! It perfectly captures the traditional Japanese style. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor baths, and the matcha green tea–style hot spring was truly unique—it left my skin feeling incredibly smooth thanks to the special water quality. Both dinner and breakfast were authentic Japanese meals, and the service was professional. A free shuttle to/from the JR station is also provided. An excellent stay!"

No watch, No noise ~Freed from time, in serene tranquillity~ A seaside resort embracing nature's bounty Perched in a secluded area reminiscent of a private villa district, ONCRI KARATSU stands directly before Hamazaki Beach overlooking Karatsu Bay. This seaside retreat embraces the gifts of the sea, cherishing both its blessings and the connections they foster.

"It shows that it opened in June 2025. The consequences of staying in October are that it has just been renovated... There are other buildings in the hotel at the door. Dinner 9000 sheep/person does not include tax, breakfast 2500 sheep/person does not include tax, because the surrounding is a quiet seaside town, There is rarely a place to eat breakfast in the restaurant. Later, breakfast was added. It was not bad. There were four fresh fish bodies and a variety of other side dishes. The category was very rich and the taste was OK. The staple food mini axe rice hot soup tube was full. You can make an appointment to arrange a car to send guests to Hamazaki Station for free before 11 o'clock."

Very good, is the ideal place for backpackers. A room A alone, big enough, clean facilities, although I will slightly hear someone talking next door, but it does not prevent a person from sleeping. Although the stairs upstairs (2nd floor) are a bit steep, but once a day, go upstairs and go downstairs. According to the information provided by the email, you are not a senior backpacker and have no ability to do things. You must contact the administrator in advance. The location is also very good, about 1.4 kilometers from the station, providing instant coffee. The fly in the ointment is that there is no refrigerator. If you go to Saga, you will still live here.

This is a very traditional Japanese boutique hotel with a total of only 8 guest rooms. On the ground floor, there are four rooms equipped with private onsen baths, alongside two public hot spring baths. Dinner was an outstanding 10-course Kaiseki meal, which notably included both grilled and steamed Saga Wagyu. The culinary experience here truly outshines even establishments like Taishoya and Charakuen. Highly recommended!

Check-in was simple. Bicycle rental was 500 yen per day. The building is right next to the main road, with cars passing by all night, so the soundproofing is terrible. The room and kitchen are separated by a curtain, making it very noisy—noise from all sorts of sources. However, the hostel atmosphere was nice, and they provided free earplugs. Everything else, like towels, cost extra, and the towels actually had a distinctly sour smell, which was disgusting. This was the first time I'd stayed in such a poorly hygienic place in Japan. Towels cost 100 yen, and a small cup of cola costs 300 yen. I recommend bringing your own towels.

It was disappointing that the coffee that was available when we stayed previously was no longer there. There were also not enough mugs for the number of guests, so someone from another room took one and there were no mugs for us. There was also only one kettle, so we had to wait a long time at breakfast. I would like them to take measures when there are a lot of guests. The quadruple room was comfortable, but there were no curtains or screens on the windows, so it would be better if they provided them.

The hotel was so pretty, so I only stayed at the hotel and it was so good !! The room was so clean and tidy, so I felt like I was resting comfortably throughout my stay. ㅎㅎ There are not many convenience stores around, so if you are going to eat late at night, I recommend buying it in advance on the way. ㅎㅎ ~ Friendly staff The quality of the guide and Kaiseki is the best.
