The location was about a km away from Kowakidani Sta. Not really far but the recommended path by Google Maps (at least to me) was along the mountain highway. It was rainy and i was walking alone at night. I sometimes pass by vehicles on the road 🥲 I was late for checkin (past 22:00) so I had my Japanese friend call the hostel. They said it's okay to come until 23:00 as the hostel cafe is also open until then. The bedspace in the mixed dorm was spacious enough and the ladder for the upper beds was sturdy. *The restroom in the main hostel is better maintained than the one in the annex. The hostel restaurant is very nice and they let me stay for a bit after checkout as the rain was pouring that day. The owner's dog is named Rum 🥹

The advance procedures are in English, so it may be difficult to go smoothly if you are not used to it, but if you follow the procedure, check-in doesn't take much time and it feels quite private, even with six people there was plenty of space to relax, it would be even better if they provided bath salts, the balcony is spacious and full of greenery, and it's quiet and comfortable.

The hotel is very close to the Buddha and another scenic spot. The service and attitude are very good. It is a good choice if you are traveling alone. The only thing I can't accept is the weather in July. Can you change to summer bedding? I really can't enjoy sleeping on fur in the summer. I don't know if other room types will be different. Everything else is acceptable.

Given the recent weather conditions (typhoon hagibis and lots of rain), we weren't sure if it was going to be worth making the 4 hour trip to Hakone (the trainline from Hakone Yumoto station was down so replacement bus services were in place). We arrived at the guesthouse having already pre-booked the dinner round the firepit and I'm glad we did. We took our own booze, sat around the firepit with some of the other guests and cooked fish and veg over the fire. For dessert we toasted marshmallows. The guesthouse was really nice and clean, well designed and the staff were friendly. The next morning we went for a walk in Hakone but the weather was quite bad, we just headed to an onsen near Hakone Yumoto station. The visit to the guesthouse and dinner made the trip worthwhile.

Stayed in Hakone area for one night, enjoying the quiet life in nature. The single room I booked was big enough for one bed, and it was very convenient to wash and eat. The price was acceptable.

The boss is very good, and the explanation from the accommodation to the route is very detailed. When you get off at Xianxiang Louqian Bus Station, you will see the signs of their home. Many buses from Tangben or Qiangluo can be reached. On the right is the Little Prince Art Museum. The left rear is the Glass Forest. The location is very convenient. The little prince has two small supermarkets in the past. I really hope to stay longer, and I haven’t strolled in many places. It’s quite like a big mountainous area like the Jingshan Scenic Area in China. It can be visited for many days. The buffet breakfast of 810 yen has a lot of foreigners who have to eat at home. The outdoor hot springs add 500 yen. If you are outside, you can soak in the room. Anyway, no more than 30 minutes. Enjoy yourself. If you don't wear it, you don't want to wear it. There's a rooftop where we can gather there to relax and chill out. Also at the ground floor, there's a recreation area. Overall the stayed is very pleasant. Hope to go back again.

We had a terrific couple of days at Jemsty. It is very well located. If you get a Hakone Freepass transport is at your door. The room is nice in a traditional Japanese way. Futon beds and comfy pillows plus tatami mats create a lovely atmosphere. Fuji was visible from our window. Mac, the owner, is very helpful. He provided detailed explanations of how to get there and how to do the things we planned. The meals were superb. Breakfast was nice and the dinners were out of this world. I loved the chicken hot pot whereas my wife felt that the pork syabu syabu was the best pork she’s ever eaten. I can highly recommend Jemsty in every way of you plane to visit Hakone.

The room is nice and convenient for travel. It would be better if you could contact us before check-in. I spent a long time looking for the password.

10 minutes walk from Kamakura station. It is right in front of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. It feels solemn when you hear it is a site related to Mr. Hojo, but it is a functional and modern hotel. Check-in is also unmanned, so you don't meet people. The size of the room is about the size of a one-room condominium where you live alone, and the interior is modern and clean. We also have the necessary equipment. The windows are about lighting, so you can't see the scenery. I was happy with the bath gel. The rooftop is a shared space for guests, and there are tables and chairs, so I ate breakfast while watching the cherry blossoms in full bloom in Dankuzu and the torii gate of Hachimangu. By the way, there is no restaurant, so I bought breakfast at a convenience store. There is a Sanrio Cafe on the first floor. From the location and functional price, it will be a perfect base for sightseeing. This is a highly recommended hostel for a reasonable cost! Junxion is in an ideal location: perfectly placed between the JR station (~5 mins) and the beach (~15 mins). The designs of the entrance way/cafe, sleeping room and bathroom area are all reminiscent of tiny home living and are such an efficient use of space. It is quaint and comfortable. The staff are friendly and explicit as to how/where to use particular facilities/amenities. They are also super helpful and willing to give suggestions about Kamakura. The beds were comfortable, the air-con was strong and they even offer free breakfast! I really can't say enough positive things... STAY HERE!!

The room had a terrific view of the bay. There are two beds and a little couch in the room. Outside was a table for our use. There was a huge pillar in the room which was weird and kind of in the way. Toiletries were plentiful (not individual). There was a rinsing bucket outside the door so as not to bring in sand.

The good thing is that access to Yuhigahama is good. Bushi or Samurai is a great local guide who runs Irodori, he is a gold mine of info about Kamakura and Japan in general, I highly recommend taking one of his tours. Bushi guided me around the mountains of Kamakura and on the Shogun tour, both well worth the money as you get a deeper experience than you will get by yourself. We also went to see a 24th generation sword smith, which was simply amazing. Irodori is not a fancy guest house, its simple, but its clean and most importantly for me, its authentic Japan.
