The hostel is located in a wonderful area, all central, the bad is the very small room without window that from the view and the very bad ventilation we didn't know if it was day or night, except for the clear watch, And if we would like to come back but this time they give us a suitable room, another pick is the woman of the brun cleaning, not stop giving slips.

I thought the room with a private bathroom was reasonable. The water in the toilet wasn't hot enough and on the day of checkout I asked if there was a fee to call a taxi and they told me there was no. Upon arriving at the airport the driver Mr showed that there was a fee of 6.50 euros. Furthermore, the taxi driver made a huge turn and the total transport bill was an absurd 58 euros...I was upset.

From BCN airport, we took the express bus to Plaza Catalonia. Then we walked a hood 15mins distance to the accommodation. It's not a full service hotel, some sort like an inn or hostel. We were mentally prepared to carry our luggage up the stairs but thankfully the building has a small elevator. The check in desk is located on the 4th floor so you have to ring the bell at the entrance for them to unlock the main door downstairs. Check in was fast. The size of the room is just right for 2 people to stay but the balcony is the highlight. All 3 staffs we met were friendly and very accommodating. It's easy to get around as the city bus stops and metro stations are just around the area.

The family room was large with nice lighting. Things were in pretty good order, the wifi was good and the bed was comfortable. It's in a busy part of town with easy access to subways, buses and walking areas. The check in was a little convoluted as it's not really a normal hotel but it worked out fine in the end. Make sure you have the check in instructions ahead of time. The room was on the second floor and a lot of street noise comes in the large windows. My wife loved the energy of all the people on the street and liked the noise, so maybe not a bad thing. We even had a parade go by with thousands of people marching. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and walking distance to lots of interesting areas.

Although I had booked the room two months ago, and the check-in time was until 21.00, when I arrived at 19.30 the door outside the hotel was closed and the bell was not ringing. Luckily, someone staying in the hotel was coming back and opened the door for me, and she tried to call the receptionist. She was very kind and directed me to the next door grocery store where owners seemed to know the hotel people. However, they were extremely unkind and it took me quite some time to convince them to call someone from the hotel. Finally someone came, after a whole hour of waiting, and what shocked me the most was the unprofessional behaviour of the receptionist, he did not say one single word of apology, and behaved as if everything was normal. Places like this hotel are a disgrace for such a wonderful city as Barcelona.

Room was very clean, cool and spacious. The balcony was very beautiful especially in the morning. Bathroom was clean and we didn’t have to wait around to use it personally (was usually empty). Other guests were friendly. Air con was a treat in the heat. There is no lift so if you have luggage can be a struggle up to the 3rd floor but we managed! Host was very accommodating when contacted and was very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a great stay.

A super normal hostel for good or bad. I came a little scared, because it's a little left-hand floor. There's a long corridor with rooms for all loirs. My simple peccated, but to sleep only I used it. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The ambient is good but you need a decent service as well, especially regarding room and bathroom. I choose to pay more to have a bed in a shared 4 bedroom instead of 8. This what I found: no heating, cold room because the a/c wasn't working properly (daily temperature outside was 9° and 4° in the night), no linen to cover my body under the duvet (it's supposed somebody else used the duvet before me so it's not hygienic I cannot separate my body from the duvet with a linen), no automatic locker (you need a locket but they didn't inform you before when you reserve), the height available under the upper bed is not enough ample (I hit my head hard when I doubled my knees to access the locker under my bed. Same problem when you wake up, if you forget the height is not enough between the 2 beds you inevitably hit your head. Very unpleasant.), no personal bed light as normally available in all other hostel I visited. Bathroom and shower for men are separated, while for women are all together. Why, I wonder this difference? Why women always are treated better? It's not supposed we are equals? Well, I'm really unsatisfied and I suggest you, people, to avoid this hotel. Management is running it with the typical Catalan mentality: very greedy. They give poor services so they can have better profit. Not acceptable!!!

Hotel located just a step from the Sagrada Familia. State of metro nearby. Very clean, toilet boxes are changed every day. The hotel is very friendly and very friendly. The small bemol: no refrigerator in the room, which is bad because it is very hot in Barcelona.
