"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended! Choosing this place in Kashgar Old City was definitely the right decision! The guesthouse is located right in the Jiulongquan scenic area on Tuman Road, so you can step right out and explore the Old City. The location is absolutely superb, making it incredibly convenient to walk to all the various alleys and attractions. I booked a twin room, and the space was very comfortable. The mattresses were soft and great for sleeping, and the linens were clean and gentle on the skin. After a whole day of exploring the Old City, lying down here was instantly relaxing. The cleanliness was impeccable; there wasn't a speck of dust even in the corners. The amenities and services are very thoughtful. They offer a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and a parking lot, so coming by car was completely stress-free. The decor, with its Western Regions' charm, creates an amazing atmosphere and is super photogenic – it perfectly captures the unique beauty Kashgar should have. The owner and staff are gentle, patient, and very helpful. Any questions I had were answered promptly, making for a perfect experience. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and overall, it offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely choose Zhizhen·Yuxinju again next time I visit Kashgar. For anyone planning a trip to Kashgar, don't hesitate to book this place!"

"The hotel faces the snowy mountains, and on the way there, we passed through the Tuolengge Summer Pasture and Wetland Park. We were able to walk down to the pasture from the roadside and interact with the small animals. We also had the chance to visit a yurt and interact with the nomadic people. They were all very hospitable, inviting us into their yurts and offering us tea (for a fee). Staying in a tent at the hotel was a unique experience; the room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The forecast for strong winds at night was incredibly accurate, something I'd never experienced before, haha. The hotel's mascot is a golden retriever named 'Niangao' (Rice Cake), who is absolutely adorable and well-behaved. The restaurant's big plate chicken and beef were also incredibly delicious and left a lasting impression. Visiting a Tajik young man's home was a fantastic experience. We even saw 'Master Bai's' house, haha."

"The moment I arrived in the courtyard with my luggage, a lady offered me freshly washed mulberries! The front desk staff even helped me with my bags. There are several mulberry trees in the courtyard, with purple, pink, and white mulberries, and the pink ones are the sweetest! The owner is always busy; sweeping and hosing down the courtyard in the mornings (because so many mulberries fall), and making mulberry jam in the afternoons. They are incredibly accommodating! When one of the ladies wanted to play guitar, they immediately took us to borrow one."

"I booked this place for a yurt experience and it was great! The owners are friendly, hilarious and I saw them check in on the other guests to make sure they are alright after experience altitude sickness. They also gave us some advice to avoid suffering related symptoms during our stay. The room is spacious and clean. And some might worry that it could get cold at night, not a chance in this yurt as they have provided heater in multiple forms that ensure it was cozy enough for us. It is a yurt, so as the wind is blowing heavily outside, you will hear some sound, but for me, that's just adds to the experience. The amenities are complete. The location wise, it is a bit out of town, but if you don't own a car, you could still call a cab to get back to the hostel from the town. Keep the owners number in case you need to call for help. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay for the two of us.😊"

Rizamat Manor—An Aesthetic Manor from the Land of Earthen Architecture Opened in June, 2025, Rizamat manor is located in the Grape Town of Turpan City. 30+ guest rooms designed with different theme styles are connected in four independent buildings. It features a Turpan-style sand therapy area, a cafe, a kiln, a raisin oast house, a rooftop intangible cultural heritage handicraft workshop, and a SPA room. It also incorporates unique cultural experiences such as creative kiln-baked "naan pizza," Uyghur molded pottery, traditionl wood rubbing, and visits to Uyghur local families. Rizamat, originally meaning a beloved breed of grape, is famous for its unique flavor and "ruby" appearance. And the Manor as the name suggests, is like a ruby inlayed in Turpan, a place where natural wonders and profound history intertwine. Stepping into Rizamat, appreciating the beauty of the rugged texture of the Gobi Desert meeting the mysterious ancient Loulan style, like entering a mysterious melancholic castle, strolling through the light-dappled corridors and listening to the melodious desert melodies, dreams across a thousand years ago emerge in everyone's mind. Here we use the manor as a medium, combining "Western Regions" with "modern life" into the living experience, making every stay a "local life exhibition".

"The biggest surprise of my Turpan trip was staying at Rizamat Homestay! The entire estate feels like an ancient Western Regions castle, blending Uyghur and Moroccan styles with rammed earth walls, pointed towers, and courtyard pools. Every photo taken here looks like an exotic blockbuster, creating an incredible atmosphere. The room was spacious and clean, with intricate ethnic decor details – the wooden carved furniture and distinctive throw pillows were incredibly charming. With both central air conditioning and underfloor heating, it was exceptionally comfortable. The service was warm and attentive, with welcome fruits upon check-in and complimentary mini-bar drinks. Breakfast was rich and authentic. The location is excellent, very close to Grape Valley Scenic Area, making transportation convenient. The estate also has a café, a sand therapy area, and a laundry room, offering a full range of recreational facilities for an excellent experience. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Turpan!"

"The hotel is located outside the ancient city, about a 20-minute walk away, in an alley off Awati Road. When navigating, make sure to set your destination to Awati Road and enter from that alley entrance, as it's much closer. If you try to enter from the carpet street alley, it's a long walk, which is what happened to me due to a navigation error. So, just a heads-up, and I hope everyone enjoys their stay here!"

"Traveling solo, I was a bit apprehensive about booking a new place, but when I arrived, I found it to be safe and quiet. The room layout was well-designed, making my stay very comfortable. The host was very attentive to the new establishment and gave me lots of advice for solo travel. I really enjoyed my time here. I definitely have to give this B&B five stars! From the moment I booked, the housekeeper sent me detailed check-in instructions and a guide to the surrounding area. The location was easy to find and conveniently located. The room was clean and tidy, and the welcome fruit and Xinjiang specialty dried fruit platter prepared by the housekeeper were a very thoughtful touch. Most importantly, we left something behind when we checked out, and the housekeeper contacted us immediately and helped us mail it back – I was so touched! With service like this, they deserve all the good business they get!"

"I chose to stay at the Air Garden in the old city the night before leaving Kashgar to see the apricot blossoms in Southern Xinjiang. As soon as I completed my booking, the guesthouse manager contacted me to ask if I needed airport transfer and informed me about the local weather conditions. I felt a sense of warmth even before checking in. Since vehicles aren't allowed in the old city, the manager informed me of the drop-off point and picked me up the night before check-in. This service was fantastic and saved me the awkwardness of dragging my luggage around looking for the place. The hotel used to be the residence of a local 'Master Bayi' who was in the jade business. His eldest son later inherited the business and expanded it internationally. The original residence was very luxurious. Later, a boss from Hunan bought it and preserved the original four floors. The current third and fourth floors are replicas of the original residence, featuring exquisite wood carvings, making it a wood carving museum. Guests can visit for free. The fifth to seventh floors are the guesthouse, and the first floor sells jade. On the day of check-in, I received a complimentary jade 'peace buckle' from the guesthouse, which was a thoughtful touch 👍 The room decor had a distinct local flavor. Welcome fruits were already waiting in the room, and the mini-bar was free to enjoy. The super-large terrace offered a fantastic spot for enjoying the night view. On the day of check-in, I got to enjoy a complimentary afternoon tea. The pastries were exquisite, and sipping tea while admiring the beautiful scenery of the old city made all my worries disappear. This hotel boasts the highest vantage point in the entire old city, perfect for watching sunsets and sunrises. I didn't get to experience it this time, but I'll definitely try it next time. A big thank you to my manager, a handsome local guy, who was with me from the moment I booked until I left. He showed me around and explained the stories behind the wood carving museum, promptly resolved any requests I had during my stay, and patiently inquired about my airport transfer. Thumbs up! The guesthouse manager arranges breakfast for guests on the fifth floor according to their requested time. You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors. The breakfast spread was rich and well-balanced; I couldn't even finish it all by myself 😂 This guesthouse has only 10 rooms, offering a high degree of privacy. The elevator and entrances all use facial recognition. After checking in, I had a travel photoshoot with makeup on, and afterwards, the facial recognition surprisingly didn't work 😂 This only further convinced me of the guesthouse's excellent security! 👍 Although it's a guesthouse, it's very well-managed. Here, I truly experienced what 'customer-first' means. The guesthouse manager, Ms. Jin, an elegant lady, genuinely cares for guests, making everyone feel at home. I heard that after May 1st, the guesthouse will offer a service where managers take guests on tours of the old city. This is a brilliant idea, saving guests who are unfamiliar with the old city the hassle of getting lost. I look forward to the guesthouse getting better and better. The guesthouse's amenity kit is beautiful, and the manager said I could take it home, which is great! 😄 I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Kashgar. I highly recommend everyone to experience the charm of this guesthouse up close and hear its stories firsthand."

The location of the B&B is very good. The room layout has a strong Western style and is very clean. The paintings in the corridor are said to be the graffiti works of the proprietress herself, but the colors and composition are very beautiful. It is a few hundred meters away from the century-old teahouse, and it is very convenient to go out. I came back in the afternoon just in time for the princess' wedding program. The place where I stayed was just the starting point, and I had an immersive experience. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and cooks good dishes. The price is very affordable. She is really good at both the living room and the kitchen. It must be praised. I will stay here next time.

What a hidden gem of a hotel! We arrived at 11 PM and called ahead to order dinner from the hotel restaurant. The lamb hotpot was absolutely incredible – seriously, so, so good. The service was outstanding and so welcoming. The staff helped with all our luggage; even if I walked past with just a backpack, someone would immediately offer to carry it. The coffee at breakfast was also the best I'd had in all my days in Xinjiang. Beyond the beautiful environment, the hotel also offers horse riding (for a fee) and archery (free). We stayed at the hotel until well after noon before checking out, which was incredibly relaxing. We initially thought it would be a two-hour drive to Kokesu, but a staff member told us about an entrance that was only a 20-minute drive away. That was a huge help, truly. All in all, everything was perfect. We didn't get to see the stars because it rained that night, but we had no regrets at all because this hotel is just phenomenal. Oh, and the hotel also has fast charging stations for electric cars!

Zhaosu Muxueju | Treasure B&B for healing the journey, I will choose here next time I come ✨ Usually when booking a homestay online, there will always be some embarrassment in my heart, worried that the real scene and the pictures and texts do not match, and disappointed by stepping on thunder. But this time, the Mu Xueju, who stayed in Zhaosu, completely subverted my inherent impression, adding warmth and surprise to our trip to Yili. We drove all the way from Yining to Zhaosu, and the sun was hot and tired in the afternoon. Fortunately, the little girl at the front desk was very gentle and enthusiastic, and she checked in for us intimately and quickly. We booked a 180-degree view room at the end of the homestay. The view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides is really amazing! Nestled on the soft white sofa in the living room, you can quietly enjoy the flowing clouds and the distant mountains and clear mountains. The healing scenery of Zhaosu is panoramic, and the atmosphere is directly full. The homestay has been open for two years, but the room facilities are very clean and tidy, and there are almost no traces of use. The real scene is exactly the same as the platform picture, and there is no gap, which makes people particularly comfortable. Before departure, I added the store's WeChat consultation activities in advance, and responded promptly, patiently and meticulously throughout the process, and thought about everything for the sake of the guests. For the homestay, clean and high-quality hardware is the foundation. This kind of intimate service is the most moving temperature. There is also a small promotion of the staff, and we have given a lot of practical suggestions for our itinerary. It is sincere and enthusiastic, especially reliable. During our stay, we ate lunch and dinner here, and it was especially convenient to support online applet orders. From the room, the meal has been prepared intimately, and it takes no time to wait. The local beef tastes great, fresh and fragrant, and the authentic taste is endless. At the same time, I experienced the self-service laundry service in the store, the facilities are complete and easy to use, and the detailed experience is full. There are also two cute dogs in the store every day and Harley, who have a gentle personality and are not afraid of life. Every night, they walk back to the room, and they will escort us all the way, watching two small cockroaches run wildly in the grassland, spread joy and roll, comfortable and healing, just watching the mood become soft. Most special is that the homestay also arranged a rich Kazakh folk experience. We personally experienced milking, separating cream, hand-made snoring, and finally shared the cakes made by ourselves with everyone, immersed in local folk culture, and the journey became particularly meaningful. We stayed here for two nights, and went back and forth to the Xiata Scenic Area the next day. After watching the performance of the Tianma Yuhe, it was already ten o'clock in the evening. I thought that returning to Shanghai late at night would be a simple reception. I didn't expect the staff to take the initiative to greet the play experience. A gentle care immediately dispersed the fatigue of the journey. It is really rare to be able to make the service meticulous and put the guests in their hearts. Before leaving, the staff also specially recommended a niche route for us with beautiful scenery and sparse traffic, so that we can arrive at Joan Kushtai with peace of mind along the way with the beautiful scenery of the grassland. After the immersive experience throughout the whole process, I am full of joy and touch. If you come to Zhaosu next time, Mu Xueju must be our best choice! I really recommend it to friends who come to Zhaosu to travel, it is worth going, it is worth staying repeatedly 💛

Everything at this place is inspiring and catchy, in one way or another. Comfortably furnished, with a clean common space that has a nice bookshelf, a reading area, dining table and a soft furry couch. If there is one thing visible through the layout of this inn, it is that they take living with art with gusto, and this is an advantage for artsy guests. To top it all off, cat lovers would actually appreciate this place due to its feline thematics and the mascot cat Hanhan. For its price, it is a wonderful place for a stay in Urumqi.

The owner was really nice and upgraded our room. The view from the window was great. However, the neighboring guesthouse looked a bit messy, which detracted from the beautiful scenery. The room was huge and even had a starlit ceiling. Unfortunately, the windows weren't working properly; one just wouldn't close. Since it was so early, around 5 AM, I didn't feel comfortable bothering the owner for help. The hotel offers breakfast, which was good. The price wasn't expensive either, so it's pretty good value for money. It's also very convenient, only about 300m from the bus stop. The bedding seemed clean, as I often get itchy at other guesthouses. Out of all the places I've stayed, including this one, only two haven't made me itch. Overall, I'm quite satisfied! If you're wondering where to stay, I recommend this place. Though I feel guesthouses in Hemu are generally quite beautiful. Kanas was the worst, definitely not recommended! Go for either Baihaba or Hemu.

In the remote Hemu, it was unexpected to enjoy a warmer, more romantic and more considerate service than a five-star hotel. I had such a wonderful stay here and truly want to thank all of the staff for making my trip so special. First of all, the hospitality was beyond amazing. As a foreigner who cannot speak Chinese at all, I was honestly a little nervous at first. However, every staff member tried their best to help and welcome me warmly, which touched me deeply. I would especially like to thank a staff member named Yi. She was the only person who could communicate with me fluently in English, and she helped me with absolutely everything during my stay. Because of her kindness, I never once felt uncomfortable or isolated here despite the language barrier. I would honestly give her 10000/100! The accommodation itself was also excellent. The room was very clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the peaceful atmosphere allowed me to rest perfectly every night. Another thing I loved was the variety of activities offered here. Everything was amazing , horseback riding, delicious hot pot meals, and even professional photography sessions. It was my first time riding a horse, so I felt a little nervous at the beginning, but the staff took such good care of me and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience. Most importantly, I was deeply impressed by the culture here. It felt so warm and heartfelt. I truly love your culture. At night, there was a campfire gathering where local staff sang songs and danced together. It was such a joyful and unforgettable experience for me. In conclusion, if I ever visit Xinjiang again, I will definitely come back and stay here. Thank you so much to every staff member for your hard work and kindness. You made me genuinely happy throughout my entire stay.

Overall, quite a decent stay. You really can’t beat the location. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the main entrance to this side of old city. The balcony overlooks the main street and I loved sitting there and taking in the sounds and smells. The building itself is a bit older and it shows. The table in my room was a bit dirty and aged, and there was an ashtray which suggests smoking can be allowed in the room for prior guests, but thankfully there was no cigarette smell in my room. Unfortunately, there were a few setbacks. The bathroom shower did not drain well and after 5 minutes water would start flooding out of the shower room to the hallway. There are two washers in a lower room but they were both occupied with sheets that were just sitting there and had not been put through the wash cycle yet. It seemed like the hotel uses these as their main washer for their linens. When I was checking in, the front desk person seemed confused if I had a reservation but that’s about as much as I could figure out with the language barrier. My trip.com reservation said I have a late checkout of 4pm but they came to my room around 2:45pm and said I was supposed to check out at 2pm. Thankfully I had everything packed up and said I could leave at 3pm. No one came to my room to clean so my trashcan was full. You can hear everything on the street which wasn’t a big problem to me, sort of white noise drowned out by the second day. However, the second day there was a new group of tourists that arrived and spent a lot of time on the balcony (as they should) but their noise was very audible and quite annoying. You could also easily hear people going up and down the stairs and in adjacent rooms.
