"This little traditional inn was absolutely delightful 1 night stay and the host family could not have been more kind and helpful. The owner helped us get our bags to and from the inn as everything in this area is pedestrianised and no vehicle is available for transporting luggage. You must register for entrance into the historical zone at the main office before you try to enter the security gates by showing your ID as is the case with all things in China. Don't let this put you off. Smoking indoors is common so ask for smoke free treatment. Highly recommended."

"Nantong Sindy Wildlife Park: A Family Day Trip Review This trip was specifically planned for an up-close experience with the red pandas, so we booked a stay at the park's Mangrove Bay Treehouse in advance. Overall, the trip had its surprises but also some disappointments. First, about the much-anticipated red pandas: seeing them is purely a matter of luck. While other small animals in the park are out and about by 8 AM, the red pandas don't appear until 8:30 AM, and they're only out for a very short time before returning to their enclosures to rest. Their movements are completely unpredictable. We waited for a long time under the hot sun that day, only to catch a few distant glimpses. We couldn't pet them, and our wish for a close interaction wasn't fulfilled. The accommodation had quite a few downsides. The treehouse room we stayed in was small, and there was a strong musty smell inside. For a room type specifically marketed for family holidays, such a strong musty odor is a real concern for health. The hotel lobby is also very far from the treehouse area, so you have to wait for a shuttle bus to get around, which isn't very convenient. However, the overall park experience was great. The interactive opportunities with the animals were fantastic; just holding some vegetables for feeding would attract a large group of animals. The park's black bears were especially adorable and loved apples – they'd immediately stand up and wait to be fed if you held one up. The kids had a wonderful time. Regarding the park's electric carts: a two-seater costs 60 yuan/hour, and a four-seater is 120 yuan/hour. One hour is definitely not enough to explore the entire feeding area, so I recommend reserving a longer rental period. Overall summary: Apart from the small room size, the noticeable musty smell in the accommodation, and not being able to interact closely with the red pandas as we hoped, the overall park experience and animal interaction programs were satisfying and highly recommended for a family outing."

"The inn's location is fantastic, directly across from the Lion Grove Garden, and very close to the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum, making sightseeing incredibly convenient! I had originally booked the smallest room in the inn. When I arrived, I asked the owner if a free upgrade was possible, as many guests had mentioned being upgraded. Without a second thought, the owner immediately upgraded me to the largest room—the service was truly exceptional! The room decor was beautiful, especially the large bed, which perfectly embodies classical Chinese aesthetics. There was also a tatami tea table and a small arhat bed. The front desk even provides a sewing kit for mending clothes, all of which speaks volumes about the owner's excellent service. I'm definitely planning to stay here again on my next trip to Suzhou."

"The room was exceptionally good, very clean, and had a charming courtyard style that truly evoked the feel of Suzhou in the Jiangnan region. Facilities were complete, and the mini-fridge stocked with drinks and water was a refreshing touch during the scorching summer. We even received a welcome gift upon entering. The hotel is conveniently located, not far from various attractions, with Pingjiang Road just a few minutes' walk away. My only minor regret is that taxis can't drop you off directly at the entrance; you have to walk a short distance from the street corner. This is understandable, though, as many Suzhou courtyard-style accommodations are nestled within alleys."

"Had a pleasant stay overall. The self check-in process was smooth and convenient, and communication with the host was great throughout. I extended my stay and needed to move to another room, and the host kindly helped look after my luggage during the transition, which made everything very easy and hassle-free. I had requested a non-smoking room, but I did notice some smoke odor, particularly when I first turned on the air conditioning. As someone who is quite sensitive to smoke, tI noticed it more than others might. It seemed that the smell may be related to the building environment rather than the host's room management. Other than that, everything went smoothly, and I appreciated the host's helpfulness and responsiveness. Thank you for the hospitality."

The Wuxi Nianhua Bay Nianhua Inn (Nianhua Bay Scenic Area Branch) is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Wuxi Nianhua Bay Nianhua Inn (Nianhua Bay Scenic Area Branch) offers a pleasant stay in Wuxi for those traveling for business or leisure. From the hotel, Wuxi Shuofang Airport is approximately 47km away. Wuxi Shuofang Airport is approximately 47km away by road. There's plenty to do nearby, with Meditative Sounds by the Mountain Creeks, Wudeng Lake and Nianhua Bay - "Zen Journey" Performance all within a short distance. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Wuxi hotel features parking on site. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"Wuxi Nianhua Bay Lianhua Bay Inn Review I stayed at Wuxi Nianhua Bay Lianhua Bay Inn during the cherry blossom season, and my overall experience was great. The inn generously upgraded our room for free, which came with a large balcony overlooking the main street of the scenic area – the view was absolutely fantastic. Upon entering the park, electric carts are available to transport guests and their luggage directly to the inn's doorstep, making the entire process effortless. The inn manager was very kind and even helped us carry our luggage up to the second floor. The room decor was minimalist, and while the facilities weren't brand new, the value for money was perfectly acceptable for the price. The inn boasts an excellent location right on the scenic area's main street. It's a two-minute walk to Nianhua Tower and another two minutes to the performance pool, making it incredibly convenient for catching shows. In fact, it was even more convenient than the Duo Luomi Hotel within the scenic area. However, I did encounter a minor issue: the staff's knowledge about the scenic area's attractions wasn't very detailed. When we asked about the best spots for viewing cherry blossoms, the manager could only give us a general area, not precise directions. On a rainy day, when we inquired about the drone show schedule, they only mentioned a risk of cancellation and advised us to scan a QR code for details. The next day, we asked a different manager about the cherry blossoms in Luming Valley, and they frankly admitted they had never been there and couldn't answer, only suggesting we take the small train. I had assumed the inn could help reserve tickets for the small train, but we were told tickets had to be purchased at the station after 9 AM. We spent two hours enjoying the cherry blossoms first, only to arrive at the station at 9 AM and find ticketing hadn't started yet. The ticket booth didn't open until 10 AM, and tickets weren't actually distributed until 10:30 AM. Thankfully, we eventually got on the small train to Luming Valley, and the experience was surprisingly delightful. It was filled with birdsong and floral fragrance, with very few tourists, allowing us to almost have the entire cherry blossom forest to ourselves. Enjoying the scenery with wind chimes and birdsong created a unique and tranquil atmosphere that you wouldn't find at more popular spots. Overall, the manager's service attitude was good, but their professional knowledge regarding the scenic area's attractions was lacking, which felt a bit confusing. Moreover, most staff members in the scenic area provided imprecise directions. I hope they can improve this through further training. Putting that aside, both the inn and the scenic area are well worth experiencing. The cherry blossoms are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is serene and peaceful. Although I missed the drone show that day, the other live performances were spectacular. The accommodation package included admission to the scenic area, offering excellent value for money. My overall stay was very satisfying."

We hold a firm belief that good design makes journeys more meaningful. We aspire to be the vessel, guided by design, that carries every traveler toward their dream of the perfect stay, ensuring that each visit is a flawless encounter with “Dreams and Beauty.”

"The location is near Nanjing Xinjiekou, not far at all, with plenty of great food options nearby. It's convenient for both taxis and the subway. The front desk is on the 6th floor, and the rooms are directly accessible by elevator. The three elevators are surprisingly quick. They ask every day if you need room cleaning, and the hot water comes on quickly, making for a comfortable shower. Watching projections while lying in bed is very convenient, and the air conditioning cools effectively. It's really suitable for a trip. There are also many delicious places to eat around. I recommend the hawthorn plum ribs from Shang Hao Yu Wei nearby, as well as the rice balls and fermented rice dumplings from Fang Po. A bit further out, there's Li Jia's beef potstickers; if it's too crowded, you can go to Cao Qiao Jia next door – the taste is just as good."

I arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket.

I have come to Maoshan Blessed Land to pray and burn incense many times. This is the first time I stayed at Dinggong Sun Viewing Cliff B&B. The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. Although the hardware facilities in the room cannot be compared with four- or five-star hotels🆚, the environment in the public places is very artistic, and the geographical location here is excellent👍. You can enjoy the beautiful sunrise🌅sunset🌅 scenery👍👍You can also burn the first incense to pray🙏 The owner of the B&B is very nice and enthusiastic ❤️. He is always responsive 👍. Although the dinner set menu is a bit expensive, it tastes good 😋. Such an environment and such taste are worth it 👍. The breakfast buffet 🍜 and ☕️ are both good. Thank you for the amulet sent by the owner. I will choose this place next time 😄

During our recent stay at this wonderful hotel, we were exceptionally satisfied with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff who came out to meet us at the scenic area entrance and assisted with our luggage. This level of service set the tone for our entire visit. The hotel's décor is stunning, creating a serene and visually pleasing environment. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a restful haven where we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. It truly is a fantastic place to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful afternoon tea, particularly the grain snacks which were so delicious that we requested the hotel staff to help purchase and courier some to Shanghai for us to bring home. Their willingness to accommodate our request added a special touch to our experience. Breakfast at the hotel was another standout. The porridge, in particular, was so delectable that the hotel kindly gave us a pack of the rice used to prepare it. This gesture was much appreciated and spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant retreat. If we return to this area, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

So happy I stayed at this Inn for my trip to Suzhou. Nearest metro station is Beisita. Only 1 station from Suzhou railway station. From Beisita come out to exit 1, turn right, walk a few steps and you see a big zebra crossing on the main road. Cross this zebra crossing and almost in front of you is the small alley/lane Dawangjia Alley. Go straight down this alley a minute or so and you come to another even smaller alley on your right. Turn into this alley. The first door in this alley is the location of the Inn. On the day I arrived. I came out of Beisita station, exit 1 and was met with torrential rain. I had no idea which way to go. I called the owner via the trip phone service. Somehow I got the owner to understand I'm stuck at station and don't know where to turn. She kindly came to station on her moped to pick me up. Saving me from the downpour. I'm so grateful. The Inn is very traditional Chinese style housing. The room large and very comfortable. Has everything you need. But I especially like the large, clean and fully tiled bathroom which has it own window opening to the outside allow for good ventilation. All the other places I stayed so far the bathroom is tiny with no window thus no proper ventilation which makes the bathroom always feel damp with a musty, mouldy feel. This is the first time I feel the bathroom is airy and comfortable. Inn is close to Suzhou museum, Humble administrator garden and Lion Grove garden. Took me around 15mins walk to these places. The owner also make good recommendations on what to avoid and where to eat etc. I highly recommend this Inn and should I come back to Suzhou shall certainly stay here again. I will be uploading more photos and videos of the Inn and my travels in China on my YouTube channels TheTravelDiary and goody2shoos once I'm back in the UK so check out the channels for more information. Happy travels.
