I haven't lived in such a favorite accommodation for a long time! A few days before I checked in, I will receive a travel guide organized by the boss (super convenient for people who have time to do their homework!) Really attentive! The location is super close to Shantang Street, you can walk to Shantang Street if you have nothing to do. ～ It is very convenient to take a taxi from the high-speed rail station and Xiyuan Hanshan Temple! I will definitely choose this room to stay in Suzhou again if I have the opportunity to play in the future. ～

Very good location. Just walking distance to the gardens, museums, Pingjiang Road, and some good restaurants like Xiaoyuanlou on Xibeijie street within a short walk. The small yard is quiet, and the room is clean and comfortable. Owner family is very amiable and helpful. Had a short stay experience, but with long unforgettable memories.

Location is excellent. Many high rating restaurants around. 6min walk to the City Wall. Right at the historic area to shop and walk around. The staff are super friendly, they make so much effort to communicate with us in English via phone. Also, when we checked out, they gave us 2 fans for souvenirs. The decor of the hotel is very nice. Moreover they even have a clothes hanger line in the washroom, very thoughtful. Highly recommend!

Great place, super comfortable and clean. The owner is nice (and chatty!) and was kind enough to upgrade our room. Extra recommended, because the house cat Dudu is very sweet, loves to play and cuddle, and just generally made the stay a 10/10.

We are very pleased by our staying at Guyunfeng. The hostess were so helpful, nice and polite. They were the highlight of our stay making us very comfortable. We got sweets, tea by the river, great experience. Zero noise in the room. The location was premium, the room was very clean and the hotel architecture offered a local Chinese experience. the location is awesome as it is a very short walk to the pinjiang road where all the main canals are. the key highlight for us is the staff at the hotel, Xiao Zhang and 2 other gentlemen who's name I have now forgotten (sorry!). All three was VERY helpful and accommodating with me and my wife. Our Mandarin was hopeless so they tried their best to speak to us in English. As part of their duties at the front desk, they also prepared breakfast for the guests. Every morning, they were meticulous at their work, efficient and served us promptly when we showed up. They never failed to check-in and asked if everything was ok, always with a big smile and ensuring our needs were met. I have stayed at many high-end hotels and I can confidently say this place is on par for their customer service if not better. One of the gentlemen also assisted me with my luggage during check-in as there is no lift, only stairs so older folks may need to take note. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you for making it a good one for us!

This place was great! Super quiet (admittedly, I was there on a Tuesday) and clean room with new furnishings. There is no elevator, but you'll probably be on the second floor, and this was fine by me. The hotel staff were nice, too :) The only thing that I'd add is that the curtains on the room's (very spacious!) window could have been darker. As it is, you might be woken up at dawn by the natural lighting! :) Oh, and the bed is pretty hard, which, personally, I love. Would book again! :)

It feels like staying in a cozy guest house nestled within a family complex. The owner, a lovely lady, is super friendly and helpful. While the room has that charming old-school vibe, it's spotlessly clean and has everything you need, even a hairdryer. It totally reminds me of my grandma's place back in the day! Plus, there's a cute little mini library with some fascinating collectibles and a cozy tea house - perfect for some Insta-worthy snaps! Oh, and watch out for the three adorable cats who love to wander around and sometimes even pop into your room for a visit! You won't go hungry here either! Right next door, there's a fabulous café, and across the street, you've got a whole lineup of local food joints. And let me tell you, don't miss out on the crab noodle spot near the traffic light - it's absolutely divine! And if you're craving some fresh fruit, just head over to the fruit stand near the small bridge. They're open late - I swung by around 11 pm and they were still going strong! Just a friendly reminder: This hotel does have its Chinese name displayed at the entrance, no English. So, make sure to remember or write down that street number to find it easily next time! And you can bet your bottom dollar that if I find myself back in Suzhou, I'll be booking a room here again without a second thought!

I loved staying at this small hotel located on Ping Jiang Road! Although located on Ping Jiang Road, this hotel is located in a small alley and very quiet. I found the place quite easily. from Suzhou station, I took a DiDi and the driver dropped me off near the hotel. The hotel is just a very short walk away and tucked inside an alley. I booked the queen room with terrace. The nearest subway station is a 15-20 mins walk away along Ping Jiang road. I found the walk to be a tad long after a long day but as Ping Jiang road is so pretty, I don't really mind. The toilet and shower are separate stalls and they are of clear glass with a shower curtain. Doors cannot be locked so if you are staying with a not so close friend, not a good idea. Overall a great and relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

The homestay on the 19th floor has a great accommodation experience! I like the design style of the room very much. The bed is soft and comfortable, and it is comfortable to sleep. Bath towels, shower caps, toothbrushes, toilet mats and other supplies are all available. The lyrics decoration on the wall, the green plants in the corner, and the flower pots on the table are all plus points. The projector has a good viewing experience when watching programs, but the chandelier will present a shadow, which is a pity. During the day, you can see the distant landscape from the upstairs, and the indoor lighting is excellent. Several accommodations in Suzhou are not as pleasant as this one, and the price is not expensive.

Clean room centrally located inside zhou zhuang. So it allows u to explore the place at night. A bit of a walk through the uneven pavement and up and down a bridge, with our heavy luggage and mum’s difficulty to walk is not the best. However, to stay within zhou zhuang, that’s the only option. Ask for 2nd floor rooms will be even better. Our room is back facing the alley where the housekeepers walk in and out chatting . Owner is also very nice and friendly.

The hotel is in a great location, right in Xinanli, just across the street from the subway entrance, not far from Confucius Temple and Laomendong. The hotel is on the 4th floor, with a small pool, which is a bit special. The house is not big, the hygiene is OK, but the TV in the room can't be used to watch TV, saying that the payment has expired. Now during the Olympics, I can't even watch a game, which is a bit unacceptable.

Great family-run guesthouse close to Nanjing South railway station. Clean room, quiet neighbourhood, comfy bed The staff at the hotel doesn't speak English but they were very welcoming and helpful, check-in and check-out were smooth and we were given an extra breakfast, an evening snack and even a little gift before leaving!

Great little place to stay. I booked the room with a balcony view. Enjoyed sitting on the chairs in the morning and evening. Mosquito netting around the bed is perfect for a good night sleep. Overall I would love to come back here again. No issue with Food Delivery into the park. Hotel staff were helpful in arranging Taxi Service to Oriental Land Station (100RMB). Enjoyed the shops and plenty to do over a couple days if you like to take your time strolling leisurely. Also traveled to Suzhou canals near Qilishantang and Pingjiang which are great as well.
