Liangyi Xunji Hotel is rooted in the thousand-year culture of Luoyang Old Town. Inspired by ancient charm and modern life, it puts the long history of the ancient capital into your warm stay. With old bricks, lanterns and quiet courtyards, the hotel mixes old city stories, city night views and local life together. You can enjoy ancient elegance and comfortable living in slow peaceful time. Located on East Street of the old town, our hotel has great location and convenient transportation. Ancient sights, local food and old alleys are all around us. We provide thoughtful service, nice rooms and public areas. We also offer travel guides for guests, creating warm, relaxing and pleasant travel experience for you in Luoyang.

"I had a very satisfying stay here, and it was excellent value for money. The location is superb; Gulou (Drum Tower) is right across the street, and it's incredibly convenient for shopping and visiting the ancient city. The subway station is also close by. I booked a room with a mahjong/card room because I wanted a king-sized bed, and since it was too hot to go out during the day, we spent our time indoors – it even saved us the cost of renting a mahjong room elsewhere. The butler service was also very attentive and responsive to all our requests. The entire guesthouse offers a quiet escape in a bustling area, and it's quite spacious. The decor perfectly embodies a traditional Chinese aesthetic."

"Location & Facilities: This guesthouse is located in an old residential area, tucked away in an alley which made it a little hard to find. During the day, there's quite a bit of foot traffic from local residents, and driving into the alley can be tricky. However, you can park at the alley entrance and walk for about two to three minutes to reach the guesthouse, so it's still quite convenient. The main gate has an electronic lock, and you can only open it with your room card after dark, which made us feel very secure. Free parking nearby is a bit 'wild west' – basically just parking along the side of the alley. If you're worried about scratches or inconvenience, there are also paid parking lots nearby; 5 yuan for overnight parking is a reasonable price, I think. Being in the old city, the guesthouse is very close to attractions like Luoyi Ancient City and other bustling areas. Grabbing a shared e-scooter, you can reach all sorts of delicious food within about ten minutes, making it super convenient for eating and exploring. Service: The owner, a very enthusiastic gentleman, called us right after we booked to confirm if we needed a parking space. After checking in, he recommended many local eateries. We basically followed his recommendations for most of our two or three days in Luoyang, and everything was authentic and affordable! I have to say, the owner’s recommendations as a local were truly authentic; he had our breakfast, lunch, and dinner plans perfectly sorted. Since we rented a car, we'd tell him roughly when we'd return to the guesthouse, and he'd help confirm a parking spot in advance, so we could park directly near the guesthouse upon arrival. He always has a cheerful smile, and when we bumped into him heading out, he'd actively ask how our day was going and how we liked the restaurants he recommended. Overall, he made us feel right at home, very comfortable! Hygienics: The entire guesthouse was impeccably maintained by the owner. Our room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom had no unpleasant smells, and the hot water for showers was great and convenient, with no drainage issues. They also provided disposable bath towels and face towels, which was a nice touch. The mattress was incredibly comfortable; combined with all the delicious food in Luoyang, we pretty much crashed as soon as we got back to the guesthouse and slept like logs, haha. No wonder previous reviews mentioned feeling like they were staying in a five-star hotel. Overall, the stay was an excellent experience! I highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone! It's been three or four days since we returned from Luoyang, and I just remembered I had to leave a big positive review for the owner! The value of a retrospective review speaks for itself. Please support the owner's business! Staying in such a comfortable guesthouse made our trip to Luoyang even more enjoyable! I've attached a few photos of the local food recommended by the owner and some Luoyang peonies."

"Cleanliness: The cleaning staff did a meticulous job, very clean, I'd say it's close to Hanting's hygiene standards. The hotel has been open for a few years, but it's well-maintained; the washbasin, floor grout, and corners are basically free from mold or blackening. Facilities: It truly has zero-pressure mattresses, unlike some other B&Bs that just claim to. The whole room is smart, and controlling things with the Xiao Ai speaker is convenient. Just these two points alone, I believe, make it worth the price. Plus, the kind owner who proactively helped with my luggage, the great location, and the expansive views... those are just bonuses."

"The pleasant surprise of my Kaifeng trip was booking this guesthouse. It feels like a beautiful garden, incredibly quiet, comfortable, clean, and very high-end. The room was super spacious and bright, and it's very kid-friendly. Check-in was smooth, and the ladies at the front desk were all super nice, patient, and helpful, even assisting with our luggage. The best part is it's very, very close to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, just a short walk away. We could easily come back to rest whenever we got tired from exploring. They even gave us some delicious local pastries upon check-out! I genuinely love the decor and atmosphere of this guesthouse. I'll definitely book this place again on my next visit!"

"Like coming home, receiving thoughtful care everywhere. Mo Shang Yi Su, though called a B&B, has long surpassed the typical 'agritainment' style. Its facilities rival those of a star-rated hotel, but with an added warmth and human touch that high-end hotels often lack. When I wanted to visit the Shaolin Temple scenic area, the proprietress said, ”Wait a moment, I'll drive you there.” Upon getting out, she didn't forget to remind me, ”Remember to call me when you're done, and I'll pick you up.” It was only about 600-700 meters, but it was incredibly heartwarming. As the sun set, the proprietress had already hosed down the rooftop terrace, suggesting we could go up and sit. After dinner, the entire B&B was filled with the scent of agarwood. Each floor also had an elegant tea room. After a day of sightseeing, the proprietress asked, ”What would you like to eat? We'll cook for you.” After ordering, she said, ”You can go back to your room first, we'll call you when the food is ready.” It truly felt like being at home. Before I left, the proprietress thoughtfully gave me a parting gift, allowing me to take some of that warmth home with me. As I checked out, the second-generation young man who drove me to the station shared some simple yet profound words: ”When we run a B&B, we don't compete with farm stays. We just focus on providing excellent service. We try our best to meet our guests' needs. If there's something we can't do, we find someone to help. And for requests guests haven't even made, we try to be thoughtful and proactive, striving to ensure guests leave with no regrets.” I wish the B&B family all the best and continued success!"

Yunhuali Intangible Cultural Heritage Art Guesthouse "Clouds aspire to the elegance of fine attire, and flowers covet the charm of beautiful faces; the spring breeze caresses the railings, where dewdrops glisten with rich luster." Nestled in the middle street of Luoyi Ancient City, the guesthouse enjoys a prime location. Its premises and surrounding areas are abundant with historical and cultural relics, including the Wenfeng Pagoda, Henan Prefecture Confucian Temple, and the Eighth Route Army Office. It stands opposite the Tongtuo Muyu (Copper Camel at Dusk Rain) — one of Luoyang's renowned Eight Major Scenic Spots — across the street, and is close to Chanhe Zhuying (Crimson Cherry Blossoms by Chan River), one of the Eight Minor Scenic Spots, where guests can admire flowers and enjoy the scenery by the water. In the vicinity, there are also institutions promoting Heluo culture and folk customs: the Folk Custom Museum, the Memorial Hall of Laozi (ancient Chinese philosopher and thinker), the Luoyang Sui-Tang Grand Canal Museum (a World Cultural Heritage site), and the eastern starting point of the Silk Road. Adhering to the value concept of "integration for aggregation", Yunhuali inherits the profound heritage of Luoyang's intangible cultural heritage (ICH). Its cultural guest rooms and multi-functional halls seamlessly integrate local ICH crafts such as leather carving, wood carving, tri-color glazed pottery of the Tang Dynasty (Tang Sancai), paper cutting, and Luoyang embroidery into the Chinese-style accommodation environment. It promotes the cultural value of this millennium-old imperial capital through the integration of art and humanity. Meanwhile, the guesthouse provides high-quality butler-style all-round services, allowing guests to enjoy the scenery by the window, sleep peacefully to the sound of the wind, and spend a pleasant and relaxing time. Yunhuali looks forward to your visit, inviting you to experience the beauty of Luoyang's ancient capital "hand in hand with art"!

"I randomly booked this guesthouse for my trip to Luoyang and hit the jackpot! It's right inside Luoyi Ancient City, super convenient for going out, shopping, and taking pictures. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area. The courtyard greenery is beautifully maintained, and there's even a peacock in the lobby – I was so lucky to see it display its feathers! The room has a traditional Chinese decor, making for a comfortable and cozy stay. Upon check-in, I received a complimentary afternoon tea, and there were five intangible cultural heritage handicrafts to choose from. I made perfumed beads; following the teacher's instructions, the beads had a lovely fragrance, and I could take them home as a little gift. The experience was fantastic. The staff here are all very friendly and patiently helped with any questions I had. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the ancient city and intangible cultural heritage."

According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic! Head left for about 200 meters and you're at Luoyi Ancient City; turn right for 100 meters and you hit Shizi Snack Street, and just keep walking straight to Lijing Gate. The location is truly unbeatable. Usually, guesthouses inside ancient cities aren't known for their great ambiance, but this one is an exception. The decor and facilities are superb. The bed, a 2.1-meter massage bed, is so spacious that even three people sleeping together wouldn't feel cramped. Plus, the owner is incredibly warm and welcoming; you can ask him anything. He provides breakfast daily and even thoughtful small amenities like hair ties. He can also help you book tours to attractions. It gets pretty hot here, so it's super convenient to have an automatic washing machine with detergent available if you want to wash your clothes at night. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!"

Traveling to Luoyang, this Lijingmen B&B made me experience the whole process! 📍 The location is excellent, just in the core of the old city, close to the Lijingmen City Building, within 10 minutes walk to Luoqi Ancient City and Yingtianmen, surrounded by authentic snacks, beef soup, water mats to eat casually. The environment of the homestay is elegant, the Chinese courtyard style, the small courtyard is super beautiful, the room is clean and odorless, the musk smells very good, the whole house is intelligent, and the details are attentive. The boss and the clerk are super caring, communicate in advance, take the initiative to help carry luggage, store items, and avoid the pit guide, as kind as friends. The price is full, the experience is far more than expected, and I will stay here next time I come to Luoyang!

This location is heaven on earth. Surrounded by mountains that take on the form of Buddha. You sit right in the palm of a blessed spot. It is family owned and they treat you like family while you are there. By far some of the kindest people you will meet on your trip. Food is fantastic and homemade. There is a rooftop spot you can relax at, have tea, and even enjoy your meal there. The Shaolin temple is just a short walk from the hotel, and the owners will offer to drive you every time. Make sure to stay here if you are in the area. You will not regret it.

A Charming Old Town Homestay in Luoyang: Beautiful but with a Few Quirks! This is a beautifully renovated homestay nestled right inside Luoyang's ancient old town. If you are looking for a place with local character, this is a wonderful choice, though there are a few practical things you should know before booking. The Cons (Things to consider): The Location/Access: Because it is located deep within a narrow alley of the old town, large cars and taxis cannot pick you up or drop you off right at the doorstep. You will need to roll your luggage for about 400 meters to the main road. 🧳 The Breakfast: They serve a very traditional Chinese breakfast consisting of millet porridge, fried dough sticks (youtiao), and vegetable steamed buns. While it tasted good, it was a bit salty, and the menu was exactly the same every single day without any variation. The Pros (Why I still loved it): The Room & Vibe: Our triple room was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and the entire courtyard was beautifully decorated with a lot of taste and local charm. The Hospitality: The owner and the staff were absolutely amazing—super enthusiastic, warm, and helpful throughout our stay! ❤️ The Prime Location: Being situated inside the old town means it is exceptionally convenient. You can easily walk to all the major historical sights and the vibrant Drum Tower (Gulou) Night Market for amazing street food. 🏮🍢 Overall, despite the minor inconveniences with luggage and the repetitive breakfast, the massive rooms, lovely aesthetic, and unbeatable location make it a fantastic base for exploring Luoyang!

The room was incredibly spacious. The only downside was the lack of a table, which I wasn't used to. Otherwise, it was truly top-notch. We had to trouble the cleaning lady several times last night, but she never complained. She was really kind. What touched me most was that the caregiver reminded us on our night of arrival that there would be breakfast in the morning. He reminded us again as soon as we left in the morning, repeating this several times. I guess he was worried we might feel embarrassed to eat it, haha. Breakfast included porridge, eggs, stir-fried vegetables, and steamed buns.

Location: Right on Longmen Ancient Street, very close to Longmen Grottoes. Service: The service was excellent, and they were very responsive to all requests. When I first arrived, I couldn't find the place, and the lady at the front desk came out in the scorching sun to guide me. Throughout my stay, they were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to anything I needed. Facilities: Plenty of power outlets, including USB direct charging and even a Type-C direct charging port, which is really fantastic! However, I do have one small complaint. In 36°C weather, a toilet seat that felt like 40°C made me sweat just looking at it. Also, the placement of the door and the trash can is awkward; I scraped my arm on the doorknob while throwing out trash, and it really stung. I'd suggest moving the trash can or adding one near the sink!

First and foremost, the host and property manager were incredibly welcoming. We arrived at the complex just as the manager was inspecting rooms, and they even helped us carry our luggage – a definite thumbs-up! The apartment itself is spacious and bright, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms, all immaculately clean. The location is fantastic, situated right in the heart of the old town with excellent transport links. Luoyi Ancient City is just a short stroll downstairs, offering a variety of street food. Conveniently, the Luoyi Ancient City metro station (Line 1) is also just downstairs. You can take the metro one stop to Lijinmen, where you'll find Old Town Cross Street with all sorts of local snacks inside the city gate. The second stop is Yingtianmen, near the Tiantang, Mingtang, and Jiuzhouchi attractions, whose evening light shows are particularly stunning. We visited during the summer, so we unfortunately missed the famous Luoyang peonies; I'll have to return next April to see them. Luoyang is truly a city steeped in history, and I definitely plan to visit again!

This hotel was an amazing find for our trip to Luoyang! The location is absolutely perfect; it's right on Shizi Street, and just a few minutes' walk to Luoyi Old City, Yingtianmen, Mingtang, and Tiantang. It was so convenient to walk back to our room after enjoying the light show at night. Plus, there are tons of local snacks all around. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding and bathroom were fresh and odor-free. The decor has a fantastic Tang Dynasty historical vibe, and the soft furnishings really capture Luoyang's unique style. It's incredibly photogenic! We had a comfortable and worry-free stay.
