Hotel near Tianshui City Square,Tianshui
It may not be green mountains and clear waters, but it may also be the dim lights, slowly savoring the fireworks in the Qingwaguan Lane. This homestay is located in the courtyard of No. 4 Xinmin Lane in Tianshui Ancient City. It is close to the central square of the ancient city, with a comfortable environment and convenient transportation. The homestay is decorated mainly in log style, with exquisite woven accessories, and the room design is ingenious, with both traditional classical charm and modern comfort. Whether it is a spacious and bright twin room or a warm and romantic double room, you can feel the warmth and comfort of home. Here, you can unload all your fatigue and enjoy a quiet and comfortable life. When night falls, sit in the yard, cook wine and fry tea, and look up to see the stars, as if time has slowed down, making people forget the troubles of the world. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Fuxi Temple. The central square and Haiying Malatang are a 10-minute walk away, with convenient travel, welcome to you!

"The room is located in the old town, surrounded by many shops, and the receptionist was very welcoming. There's a delicious Yuanying Malatang restaurant nearby, and the area is beautiful for evening strolls. Breakfast was also plentiful. However, the first floor might be a little noisy, as it's in the old town. You should draw the curtains on the first floor. The scenery is beautiful; the moonlight seen through the courtyard is stunning."

"We upgraded to a tent room, and it was incredibly clean and hygienic. All the toiletries, bath towels, and hand towels were single-use, which was very reassuring. What's truly worth mentioning is the water pressure – the shower was surprisingly powerful, making showering an absolute delight! The water pressure in the city hotels we stayed in the following days couldn't compare to this glamping site. The environment is simply fantastic, offering the quiet solitude of the entire desert. The ATV desert buggy ride takes you to a high peak, which is perfect for amazing photos. Sandboarding was a blast for the kids, and the travel photography captured the beauty of the whole beach without the crowds. Plus, the butler service was excellent – they responded promptly to all our questions and were always available, which was wonderful. Just a heads-up: it can get windy at night, and the tent makes some noise. I was a bit scared at first, but I eventually got used to it. For first-timers, you can sleep soundly; don't worry like I did! 😄"

"This time I took my Mao children to stay at Shanyue B&B. The experience exceeded expectations and must be given full praise. The homestay is really pet-friendly and patient with small animals. The room facilities are well-equipped, the bedding and bathroom are easy to use, the hygiene is in place, the courtyard is spacious, and the Mao children can run and enjoy. Just in the ancient city of Tianshui, it is very convenient to go shopping and eat. The boss service is intimate and the communication is smooth. Zagana Gummot Homestay - a natural aesthetic residence above the clouds In the secret land on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, at the highest peak of Zagana Dongwa Village, a homestay named after a groundhog is waiting for guests from afar. Zagana Marmot View Homestay is located in an excellent location at an altitude of 3,100 meters above sea level. It is facing the century-old house of Zagana, a national cultural relic protection unit. It is not only a watchman of traditional Tibetan architectural culture, but also an interpreter of modern travel aesthetics. Every floor-to-ceiling window here is a frame facing nature, and every space carries the pursuit of quality life. The 30 viewing rooms of the homestay are divided into two major themes: 15 "cloud balcony rooms" break the spatial boundaries with a 270-degree surround terrace. The original wooden floor extends to the cloudy valley. In the morning, you can embrace the first ray of sunshine in your arms, and you can sleep at night; 15 "panoramic canopy rooms" reconstruct the visual dimension with 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows. Degree, whether it's sunny or rainy, you can exclusively enjoy the giant screen image of the peaks of the stone city of Zagana. All rooms are equipped with modern facilities, and the intelligent fashion of the city is mixed with the Tibetan national customs. The visual focus of Fairy Beach: the balcony curtain is designed as a lifting curtain, and the sunny day is completely closed, so that the meadow of Fairy Beach becomes the "natural background painting" of the balcony; half covered on rainy days, creating a hazy poetry. Set up a low glass fence on the edge of the balcony (to avoid blocking the view), and with hanging flower baskets to form a "sky garden" and the visual echo of the fairy beach on the ground. At the same time, the real sheepskin seat contrasts with the stove-based tea, giving people a comfortable leisure experience. The balcony is not an isolated space, but an "immersive stage" that is deeply bound to the fairy beach landscape, groundhog ecology and tea culture. Visitors can not only enjoy the private tea table, but also interact with the natural wild interest in real time, forming a differentiated memory point. The bathroom space can be called the invisible medal of the homestay. The dry and wet separation design is matched with the German Duravit smart toilet. The constant temperature seat and self-cleaning fragrance functions show the detailed temperature. The 24-hour instant heating system ensures that you can enjoy the warm package at any time in the cold of the plateau. The special anti-fog mirror reflects the outline of the snowy mountains, so that daily washing becomes a poetic experience. The rapid heating of vertical high-power air conditioners has solved the potential concerns of living on the plateau. The atmosphere of Tibetan fireworks in the morning, starting with a plate of freshly steamed steamed steamed buns, handmade ready-made flower roll steamed buns are fluffy and soft, wrapped in fresh meat stuffing, and the soup is full; the side dishes are selected seasonal vegetables, and the staple food is a bowl of warm rice porridge, which is boiled with dense rice oil over slow heat, which warms the stomach and heart. In the afternoon, the guest room will be thoughtfully served a platter of seasonal fruits, so that the mountain life will add more sweetness of natural gifts. The unique geographical location gives the homestay a triple landscape dimension: to the east, you can overlook the layers of Tibetan wooden houses in Dongwa Village, to the west, you can talk to the iconic stone walls of Zagana through the air, and to the south, you can see the vicissitudes of the century-old house. We are convinced that real luxury lies in a deep dialogue with nature. With the concept of "staying away from the city", Zagana Martmot Homestay reconstructs the boundaries of comfort with intelligent technology while retaining the texture of the original village. From the tip of the tongue to the heart, from the morning dew to the stars, here is the perfect footnote for you to explore Zagana with warm hospitality.

"Thanks to the owner and his family for a wonderful day in Zhagana. We didn't go anywhere, just sat on the balcony with my family, drinking tea and chatting, watching the clouds drift by and the breeze gently swaying the petals. It was refreshing and wonderful. The air in Zhagana in the morning is fresh and moist. It's beautiful here without having to do anything. The hotel room facilities are very useful, with a smart toilet, a vertical air conditioner, a warm shower, and a comfortable bed and pillows."

At the foot of DanxiaMountain Here's the Kaoshan Tent Where you can enjoy good drinks And merry winth friends At night the moon and stars color your dreams; At dawn the sunrise feasts your eyes Oh, what a beautiful life At the lovely tent

"After comparing several accommodations for my trip to Zhangye Danxia, I chose Kaoshan Daying (Back Mountain Camp). The Starry Sky Yurt was what truly captivated me, and my entire stay exceeded expectations – highly recommended! Location-wise, the camp is right next to the West Gate of the Danxia scenic area, making travel incredibly convenient. No need for roundabout detours; I could step out early in the morning to catch the Danxia sunrise. This fantastic location also saved me a lot of effort when it came to stargazing at night. Now, let's talk about the Starry Sky Yurt. Before I arrived, I was a bit worried about roughing it in a tent out in the wilderness, but my stay completely changed my mind. The yurt was spotlessly clean and tidy, well-ventilated with no strange odors. The bed was soft and comfortable, and despite the large temperature swings in the Gobi Desert between day and night, the interior was well-insulated and never felt cold or damp. The en-suite bathroom was excellent, with 24-hour hot water and a full range of toiletries. It truly offered a luxurious wilderness experience that blended comfort with ambiance, without compromising on daily conveniences. However, the panoramic skylight at the top of the yurt was the real highlight and the biggest surprise of my trip. The camp is far from the city, meaning almost no light pollution. As night fell, the entire sky was unblocked and spread out above me. I didn't even have to step outside into the wind; I could lie in bed and gaze up at the countless stars. The Milky Way stretched clearly across the mountains, with stars so bright and dense – a magnificent night sky rarely seen in the city. Lying there quietly, watching the celestial river flow and listening to the distant Gobi breeze, all my travel fatigue slowly melted away. It was incredibly romantic and healing. The camp's amenities were also very thoughtful. In the evening, you can enjoy a starlit BBQ and hotpot. After dinner, there's a bonfire party. Then, after a stroll, you return to your yurt to continue enjoying the tranquil starry sky. The self-driving parking area is spacious, and RV resupply facilities are comprehensive. The staff were warm and meticulous in their service; they thoughtfully informed me of the best stargazing times and were always on hand to help with any issues. The unique Danxia mountain light show at night, coupled with the vast starry sky, created a multi-layered and stunning view. The special clear-broth suoyang hotpot was authentic and generously portioned, perfect for a hot meal after a day of exploring. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with friends, the Starry Sky Yurt is an exceptionally suitable choice. You can admire the Danxia landforms up close and immerse yourself in lying under the Milky Way – it perfectly combines natural beauty with comfortable accommodation. This is an unmissable gem when visiting Danxia, and I will definitely choose the Starry Sky Yurt again on my next trip to Zhangye."

"The guesthouse was beautiful and unique, with views of the sand dunes. Although it wasn't at the scenic area entrance, the owner offered a shuttle service, which was just a few minutes' walk down a side path, making it relatively convenient. The room had a terrace, was spacious and comfortable, and the young man who managed the place was very friendly and talkative. He even helped us book tickets, which were cheaper than buying them ourselves, and recommended some local restaurants, all of which were delicious. Before leaving, we left some belongings at a hotel, and the owner kindly retrieved them and mailed them to us—a truly thoughtful gesture. Many guesthouses offer nice rooms, but such excellent service is rare."

"This stay was absolutely delightful! I was initially worried about the location being a bit out of the way, so I only booked one night. To my surprise, getting a taxi on the first night was super easy, so we extended our stay. While there aren't other guesthouses right around ours, we noticed a whole street full of guesthouses nearby, which seemed crowded and noisy. At night, lying in bed, you can hear the wind brushing against the walls, but it's not loud; it actually feels like being in harmony with nature. My husband and I also went gold panning – if you find gold coins, you can exchange them for prizes. We went enthusiastically, expecting a small sandbox like in a park, but it was a massive area! **Mingsha Mountain View Afternoon Tea:** The chilled apricot peel tea was delicious. **Fengmingsha Desert Restaurant - 30% off coupon for set meals:** After we landed, the butler collected our luggage and told us hotpot was ready, just waiting for us to freshen up and eat. The lamb wasn't ***** at all, and the dipping sauce was really tasty."

The boss was very enthusiastic. I contacted him one day in advance and waited for us at the station early the next morning. The accommodation was close to the East Gate. We said we were going to Crescent Lake and Mingsha Mountain. The boss took the initiative to drive us to the Middle Gate, saying that we could save 20 yuan on the shuttle bus fare. The next day, we signed up for a tour group to go out and play. The boss also sent us to the boarding point early in the morning. The boss was afraid that it would be inconvenient to go back after the Crescent Lake Music Festival, so he also came to pick us up, making our travel very convenient. The accommodation environment is also very good, and the steamed bun for breakfast is particularly large.

The best aspect of this stay was by far the owner. He was incredibly, incredibly helpful and friendly — from the moment I walked in the door he offered me a cup of tea, then provided tea and bread the next morning for breakfast, offered advice on what to see in the area, arranged a car to take me to Dalzong Lake, and finally even found me a spot on a local minibus going to my next destination. I couldn’t have done half the things I did during my stay in Xiahe without his advice and efforts on my behalf, so that alone made staying here fully worthwhile! It’s worth mentioning that the guesthouse’s architecture is also absolutely beautiful, and everything looks quite new. It’s located down a quiet side alley off of one of the main commercial streets in town, which seems like the ideal placement. On the accommodations: I stayed in one of the two tents erected on the second floor of the guesthouse. This was largely quite a good experience! The bed was very comfortable (with a heated pad), water and towels provided, etc. The tents are not in a closed-off area, but rather on the second floor/balcony area that also is used for sitting, serving tea, etc., so privacy is somewhat limited, but the whole guesthouse is relatively quiet anyway so it doesn’t feel like a public space. My only suggestions for improvement would be related to the bathroom: during my stay, the shared bathroom for the tents was a sort of temporary-style booth installed in the corner of the room with a toilet, sink, and showerhead. The bathroom was very clean and everything inside worked well, but its sliding door separated from the wall enough that there was always a substantial enough space on one side or the other that could be seen through (the door also didn’t lock and slid back and forth easily). The booth was also small enough that, realistically, I think it would be a bit of a challenge to actually use it to shower. If possible it might be worth looking into some simple fixes to improve these situations, but otherwise I have no complaints!

This was my first stop in China and I’m so happy that I stayed in Dunhuang at Baibaili Hotel. I was looked after so well, the hospitality of the staff extended many times for several necessities and I’m touched by their hospitality. This will for a very long time, be my remarkable first impression of China, its people and their culture. The location is perfect if you want to stay a bit further out from town and enjoy the silence of being closer to the desert and the stunning design of the place. Beautiful and comfortable room, all the final touches refined every day and after 24 hrs of travelling; a generous fruit and snack plate that grounded me sweetly into Dunhuang upon arrival and farewelled me just after mid-autumn with a beautiful moon cake. Their communication was frequent and always made sure I had what I needed. Thank you so much Baibaili

If life is a never-ending journey, then the camping trip at the Desert Star Hotel is undoubtedly a highlight of my journey. When I arrived at the campsite, the first thing that attracted me was the unique tent house. Unlike regular tents, the top of the tent is made of special transparent materials, like a huge viewing platform, which builds a bridge of communication between me and the vast galaxy. As night fell, I couldn't wait to lie on the soft bed, and when I looked up, the bright starry sky was presented to me without reservation. The stars twinkled, like gems inlaid on the black sky, beautiful as a dream. At that moment, the world seemed to press the mute button, and the impetuousness and noise in my heart were instantly soothed. The unique beauty of this quietness made me intoxicated. It is worth mentioning that the hotel staff is very considerate. After placing the order, the customer service guy at the front desk added our contact information and gave us some local travel tips, which saved us a lot of time. From the warm reception at check-in, to the careful guidance during the activities, to the warm greetings at night, every detail made people feel cared for. They not only provided me with thoughtful service, but also made me feel the simplicity and enthusiasm of the desert people. This desert camping trip not only allowed me to appreciate the magnificent scenery of the desert, but also experienced exciting and interesting activities, which became an eternal and beautiful memory in my heart.

Out of our 9-day trip along the Qinghai-Gansu Loop, this homestay was our family's absolute favorite. It's a place with real heart and soul, where every detail is thoughtfully considered. Even our five-year-old said he'd give this hotel 30 stars! The homestay has a great design aesthetic, and the rooms are spotless, perfectly matching the tastes and ideas of younger travelers. We always bring our own disposable toiletries when we travel, but here, everything was already provided in the room. I also really loved the landlady – she's just one of those people you instantly like, and it was so comfortable interacting with her. From the moment we checked into the homestay in Dunhuang, we had such a positive impression of the city. Even though our stay was brief, it's full of beautiful memories. When we were leaving, she found out my child liked apricots and even gave him some from her own yard, which was incredibly touching. The breakfast offered a wide variety, and it was all very enjoyable. I truly recommend this homestay if you're coming to Dunhuang. I hope everyone gets to experience the genuine warmth and hospitality during their travels here. Their raisins are also highly recommended!

This guesthouse is truly unique! Each room is named after one of the twelve zodiac signs, with designs that blend local flair and astrological elements. In the evenings, you can go stargazing, with options for an indoor lecture and actual observation from the rooftop. The instructor mentioned that summer is the best season for stargazing, and if you want to spot your own zodiac constellation, it's best to visit around two months before or after its designated month. They even gave us wishing bottles for our own zodiac signs, which we filled with sand from Mingsha Mountain the next day to take home! The host is incredibly warm and helpful; you can ask her about local tourism, car rentals, and more – she's very considerate. Breakfast is different every day, with a thoughtful and nutritious selection. There's also an adorable cat who loves to 'accompany' you during meals, often sitting on a chair. She gets so happy if you share half an egg yolk with her every morning! She also recently had three tiny, adorable kittens! The guesthouse features a classroom and a spacious, bright lobby, making it feel especially suitable for study tour groups. We initially planned to stay two nights but loved it so much we extended for another night. The village atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, and it's about a 15-minute taxi ride to Shazhou Night Market and around 20 minutes to the train station, so transportation is very convenient. Highly recommend for family trips and educational tours!
